Conversations From Outlook 2013 in Native IOS7 IPhone 5S Will Not Open

I am using Outlook 2013 on my Windows 7 Laptop as my mail client. I have my work account attached as an account. I use the Conversation feature from within Outlook 2013. When I try to open those emails on my phone they will not open. They are denoted with a >>
The emails that are single threaded show up as > on the right side next to the time and I am able to open up and read those emails.
Is there some setting I am missing. I just switched to Iphone from using Android since its inception. I'm IT Savvy but Iphone dumb. Please help as it is annoying that I cannot open up those conversations/email on my phone.
Even sliding the mail and clicking on "more" does not do anything

Hi, Thank you so much for the info.... I really do appreciate it. We had the laptop updated by way of a system upgrade with RAM and an additional SSD drive. Once reconfigured all programs were reinstalled but Iphoto is not among them. Iphoto was on the laptop when purchased so we have no additional discs. Before the laptop was updated we backed the photos up to an extrenal hard drive so we have them, but cant access them. Could I purchase Iphoto 8 stll? Would this work? We would also require an external CD drive as we no longer have the disc drive in the laptop (I think the extra new bits took over). You may have noticed I have very limited knowledge on computers so any help dispite how simple it may sound to some would help me greatly. I just want all my photos back .... Thanks inadvance... Basically your player is telling you that you need to install the codecs that will play the compressed data within the AVI file.
AVI is a legacy file container in which the tracks of data are interleaved to maintain synchronization. This data can be encoded using many different audio and video codecs. Your problem is to determine which codecs you need for the player you are trying to use and install them if they are available. Failing that, your will either have to play the files in a different player which has the codec support your require built into the app or convert the content to a compression format that is natively compatible with the player you wish to use.
Since you have not stated what platform, operating system, and particular player you are targeting for playback, it is difficult to provide precise instructions for fixing your specific problem at this point. Suggest you try alternative players compatible with your system and platform to see if they will play the files, use a dedicated media information utility to determine the codecs needed for playback, or post a sample file for analysis.

Welcome to the Support Communities!
For initial troubleshooting, I would suggest restarting and resetting your iPhone, and also updating it to the latest version of the iOS software.
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Basic troubleshooting of the device from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore. Has any of this been tried?

Have you tried closing the apps? Double click the home button to reveal the multitasking screen. Hold down on one of the apps there. The icons should start to wiggle. There is also a red buttonn with a line through it at the top left hand corner. Tap that to shut down the app completely as if you were force closing an app on the mac or windows. Do this to all of the apps in the multitasking bar.

My iphone appears to have stopped being able to open docx email attachments. I don't do it really frequently, so am uncertain if it's because of the last software update or not. I am using 5.1.1 on an iphone 4. Anyone else having this problem?

Update - I found the iphoto cache deleted it. This did not work.... it still cannot find the photos. I then placed all the photos on my desktop and synced my phone to the folder. It found ALL the pictures on my desktop folder. I would still prefer to find a fix, so I can sync my photos to iPhoto....

Mail & address book crash after iPhone sync & will not open

Ever since I synced my iphone last night I cannot open my mail app or the address book app. Everytime I open them they crach before getting open. Any thoughts?
I I delete my prefs will I loose my mail accounts and address book file? Also if I delete prefs should I do a restart? then try and open the apps again?
I have already tried to repair permissions.

I dumped my prefs and restarted and was able to get mail and address book to open. I did have to re-setup my mail account though mail still had all my folders thanks goodness...
New problem though now my phone won't sync. When I connect it to the dock iTunes says that there is an error and it cannot sync. I was getting something like that before and I had to do a restore on the iPhone software.
