    Hello there,
Would you convert my LabVIEW 2014 vi's as available for LabVIEW 2012 ?
    Thanks for your all support

    Here you go.

  • LabVIEW 2014 to LabVIEW 8.2

I would be most appreciative if someone would convert these LabVIEW 2014 files to LabVIEW 8.2.
    Many thanks,
                          Rufus

At the end of the day, the project file is not necessary.  So I no longer need a converted copy of the project file.  I see now that my interest lies chiefly in the other two files that I posted, DGE Control User Version 090514 and Read 9219 User Version 080114.  Were you able to convert both of these to LabVIEW 8.2?

  • Conversion from SQL 2005 to SQL 2012 Express

Looking to move a small database from SQL 2005 to SQL 2012 Express - can a 2005 backup file be restored to a newly created 2012 Express database file?

Are you using 2005 express? Yes, you can do that
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms177429.aspx
Note that if you restore a SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008 database to SQL Server 2012, the database is automatically
    upgraded.
    Also you
    cannot
    do a  cross
edition restore i.e. from enterprise edition (2005) backup to 2012 express

I haven't heard of any issues on this issue. I believe that crdb_odbc.dll will just "take over" from p2sodbc.dll. Have you tried Database | Verify Database? Perhaps that will just give the database engine a little nudge.

Otherwise, I think you may have to talk to support as I don't think this is a report design issue but a support issue. :(

  • Conversion from Excel time to labview time

    Hello all,
I want to convert the excel time stamp to labview time stamp. Can you all please help me how to do this ?
In my application labview time is 05-11-12 14:56:00 and its equivalent excel time representation is 41218.6222222222.
    I tried this formula,
Labview time =  24*3600*(Excel time - 1460) but anwer is wrong.
    Thanks.
Kudos are always welcome if you got solution to some extent.
I need my difficulties because they are necessary to enjoy my success.
    --Ranjeet

Ok, here's what I found.  The conversion is:  Time Stamp = 86400*(Excel Time - 1462).  But here's the kicker: the timestamp is GMT.  You have to add your time zone offset as well.  I'm in the Eastern Time Zone, so I had to add 5 hours.  I'm not sure what DST will do to this.  I'm sure there's ways around it, I just don't have time to look into it more right now.

  • LabVIEW 2014 array constant change

Why did the "graying out" of array constants change between LabVIEW 2014 and LabVIEW 2013? In 2014 the effect is much more subtle and it's far harder to tell the # of elements in an array constant. Please change this back ASAP!

My only thought was that they tried to make the disabled elements more readable.

Error 7 is File Not Found.  So your dynamically called VI is not in your executable.
In the build spec for the executable in your project, there is a section for "Source Files".  On of the options for the VIs is "Always Include".

    ====
LabVIEW Interface Generator for LabWindows/CVI Instrument Drivers
    System Requirements
    NI LabVIEW 7.1 or later
    Windows 2000/NT/XP
Use the LabVIEW Interface Generator for LabWindows/CVI Instrument Drivers to create LabVIEW VIs for VXIplug&play and IVI-C instrument drivers from function panel (.fp) files.
    Instrument Driver Network
Before using the conversion utility to create a new instrument driver wrapper, please visit ni.com/idnet to see if a LabVIEW Plug and Play instrument driver is available for your device. The Instrument Driver Network (IDNET) provides support for more than 3,000 different instrument models from over 170 different instrument vendors.
    Recommendations
This utility was created for developers of C-based instrument drivers who wish to provide a LabVIEW interface, but do not develop a LabVIEW Plug and Play driver. By developing the C and LabVIEW interfaces together, it keeps the components synchronized, and eliminates the need for customers to create their own LabVIEW interfaces. Vendors should distribute the LabVIEW wrapper files with the associated VXIplug&play or IVI instrument driver, so that end users do not have to visit multiple web sites to download the complete driver.
If you are not an instrument vendor, we recommend that you use this utility only if you have instrument driver expertise. Access to the instrument driver source code is preferred, in case you need to edit the C instrument driver in LabWindows/CVI.
After generation, the wrapper VIs should be tested with the instrument.
    Instructions
Once you install the software, simply access the utility from the Tools>>Instrumentation>>Import CVI Instrument Driver...menu in LabVIEW. This software replaces the built-in tool and provides feature enhancements.
For additional information on this utility, view the resources below.

    Hi Nieman,
You have the right compilers for your FPGA targets, based on KB 609GUVBT.
Error -64001 indicates that there is an issue with one of the nodes in your VI. Since you are able to compile a blank FPGA VI, then you should try to identify the node that is causing this problem. When trying to pinpoint this node, I’d recommend executing your FPGA VI with simulated I/O on the development machine, as described in KB 3W6EFRLX,
Also, are you able to reproduce this issue when running one of the LabVIEW Example Finder FPGA VIs that targets your NI 9076? You can find these examples in the Example Finder's  Hardware Input and Output>>CompactRIO section.
