Conversion of planned order into process order not respecting F-S

Hi Experts,
I am working in Upgrade project from 4.6c to ECC 6 .
I have an isuue in PPPI
I have a process order which has to be converted to process order .
This operation should take place by phase 210 first then phase 300 .
But in our case the Phase 300 is starting first .
please suggest me where to find the trouble.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
I am afraid that when I enter procurement type=X & special procurement=30 in material master data, planned orders created by MRP have then a order type = NB (standard purchase order) and special produrement type = 3 (subcontracting).
So this kind of planned orders can only be converted into purchase request and NOT into production order.
It looks like it is not standard to do so in SAP and that I will have to manage subcontracting in prodution order; 1 routing for internal operation and 1 routing for subcontracting.
Thanks
Amaury

  • Partial conversion of planned order into production order of AFS material

    Dear Experts,
    I am working with SAP 6.0 EHP4 with AFS add-on. My material is AFS specific material. I am not able to convert planned order into production order partially from MD04 screen as all the fields in the CO48 screen is grayed out.
    Please help...

    Hi,
    I am not able to get what is passing the start date.
    Second thing is how you are generating the serial number - manually or automatic?
    If you are generating serial number automatic, then it is not possible to generate it considering the basic start date.
    But if you are entering the serial number manually, then there should not be any problem as system will accept that serial number which you enter at the time of conversion of planned order to production order.

  • Conversion of planned order to process order

    Hi,
    I am having 3 valid production versions for the same lot size selections. I have created one planned order in that I maintained one production version. While converting into process order it is not picking up the production version what I mentioned in the planned order. If any body have an idea why it is so, please help me.

    Hi,
    In transaction COR4(Order type dependent parameters), for the plant & the process order type check the production version selection setting, whether it is manual or automatic.

  • Conversion of planned order into prd order

    Dear Gurus
       Is it possible to convert planned order to prd order automaticaly ?Is there any setting in customising?
    thanks
    kk

    Hi
    In Standard SAP there is no such possibility.
    In real time normally it is not required like that.
    why because ,after looking into the planned order, planner/scheduler should convert planned oirder into production order. to have a better control.
    Planned order is one of the control step for proper scheduling.
    I do nto think it is required.
    If still business required to that you have to go in for customized programe with back ground scheduling.

  • Planned order to Process order

    Dear Guru's,
    While Planned order we are converting into Process order and if any RM is missing no warninig message appear.
    What is missing in this.
    regards,
    Vijay Pabale

    Dear,
    No warning message appears because you need to set in your OPJK under material tab weather you want check or not.
    And under release material you need to decide:
    1     User decides on release if parts are missing
    2     Release permitted despite missing parts
    3     No release if parts are missing: It will stop you from release.

  • Option to convert Planned orders to Process order C

    Kindly suggest, which is the best option to convert Planned order to Process order C from below mentioned options
    1) Convert Planned orders to Process order C & send it to R/3. or
    2) Send Planned orders to R/3 & convert it into Process order C in R/3
    Regards,
    Chetan

    Depends on the process and how stable your planning is. If there is a lot more decisions to be made in the R3 side you let the planned orders be converted in R3 else
    you normally would use the conversion indicator and send the planned order to R3 and it gets converted to Process Order there

  • Get the supply source of planned order and process order.

    Hi experts,
    I would like to display production version (supply source) on prduct view.
    But, I don't know that how to get supply source of planned order and process order.
    APO  table is complax.
    Do you know that?
    Regards,
    Satoru

    Hello Tushar,
    Are components also plan in APO with MRP type X0?
    Does PDS or PPM contain all the components?
    Verify if the component is maintained properly in the PDS.
    Check whether there is an active integration model for the components, also execute the RAPOKZFX report for all the materials in question.
    When you convert the PPDS order to process order then conversion happens in ECC/R/3 system. This is the place BOM has to be reexploded in ECC. Please check if you have any enhancement which restrict BOM explosion.
    Also check OSS note 1576703 suggested by an expert Caetano.

  • Error when convert planned order to process order

    when using tcode COR7, unable to convert planned order (make to stock) to process order.
    error message: No default value is maintained for operation generation for order type ZI03
    note: order type is customised.
    please assist where to check or maintain the default value..TQVM

    Dear ,
    Create default operation for the process order type and plant combination in OPJG and then check for converting the planned
    order to process order.
    If you want the system to automatically pick the master recipe,then make the necessary settings and selection ID for the process
    order type and plant combination in COR4.
    Check and revert

  • Stop new planned order when process order GR qty less then sales order qty

    Hi All,
    How should SAP be configured so that when a process order is GRu2019ed, the sales order requirement is fulfilled regardless of the quantity difference between the sales order and process order?
    The system behavior we are currently experiencing is MRP will generate another planned order for the fixed lot size if the GRu2019ed quantity is less than the sales order quantity.
    Additional background information:
                    Make to order scenario
                    Process industries
                    Batch control
                    Warehouse management
                    Fixed lot size
    Any comments or suggestion are welcome.
    Thanks.

    Brahmaji,
    Thanks for the reply.
    I agree that changing from FX to EX will produce a planned order for the quantity difference (SO qty less the GR qty).  So this would be an improvement to our present situation, but not quite what we are looking for.
    The system behavior we want is MRP to ignore the requirement for the difference, in other words, when the GR is done for the entire batch quantity, we won't be producing any addition product.  The sales order would be considered complete.

  • I want to change normal order into expire order

    Hi,
    I am oracle apps developer working in istore 11i module and i new to this forum.My question is i need to change normal order into expire order for this what are all the profile i need change .Please guide me
    Thanks in advance.
    DV.Balaji

    You no need to add the changes, It can be shown in Environment menu. If u want to see the person who changed the PO in ur Print, ABAP work will be required..
    By the way what is the business requirement for this. B'cas PO is meant for vendor, Why do u want to print, whoever did the changes..This thing you can see from SAP itself at anytime.
    Cheers!

    You can get the coordinates of the mouse "drop" relative to the scene in the onDragDropped handler with
    event.getSceneX() and event.getSceneY().
    You can get the location of the top left of a node relative to the scene with
    private Point2D getSceneLocation(Node node) {
         if (node.getScene() == null) {
              return new Point2D(0,0);
         double x = 0 ;
         double y = 0 ;
         for (Node n = node ; n != null; n=n.getParent()) {
              Bounds boundsInParent = n.getBoundsInParent();
              x += boundsInParent.getMinX();
              y += boundsInParent.getMinY();
         return new Point2D(x, y);
    (and you can get the other corners of the node simply by adding the width and/or height from node.getBoundsInLocal() to the result of that if you need.)
    So if you ensure every tab has a graphic, you can iterate through the tabs and do something like
    int dropIndex = 0 ;
    for (Tab tab : tabPane.getTabs()) {
         Point2D tabLocationInScene = getSceneLocation(tab.getGraphic());
         if (tabLocationInScene.getX() > event.getSceneX()) {
              break ;
         } else {
              dropIndex++ ;
    tabPane.getTabs().add(dropIndex, tabToBeAdded);
    Ensuring every tab has a graphic probably just means setting the text to an empty string and setting the graphic to a Label containing the text; or I guess you could just use a zero width and height Rectangle, or some such.

  • Not to convert planned  orders  into  production  orders.

    I donot  want  to  convert all the  planned  orders in a plant  into  production  orders on a specific date  only ( SAY on 5th Oct -2007 planned  orders  should  not  be  converted  to  production  orders in a  particular  plant).pl tell me  what  customisation is  required  to be  changed or  else  what is  the  solution.
                                                                             jpb

    Hi,
    Planned order is just a system proposed order its upto the user if they want to use all or part of it, for this they have to convert them.. If you dont want to convert them you can delete them as else the SNP will keep considering it as a valid supply.
    If the planned orders are not required on some particular dates on a permanent basis then you need to modify the Factory calender accordingly, so that the system will consider as if the resources are not available on thoese dates.
    Reward point plz...
