Converson factor of single-unit batch 011A of material HRCF is inconsistent

Hi,
when i am doing MIGO ,facing error "Converson factor of single-unit batch 011A of material HRCF is inconsistent".
Please help me in this.
Thanks and Regards,
Monty

Please check the Case Conversion maintained in the Material Master > Additional Data as might be the quantity in the Batch is not able to convert as per the conversion factor.

  • How the single unit batch indicator MCH1-XPCBT is being ticked?

    HI Guru,
May I know, how SAP trigger the tick of the single unit batch indicator MCH1-XPCBT?
During our data migration to SAP, this single unit batch indicator of the batches is not tick.
Now this field is gray out, I cannot changes it. Is there any ways to remove single unit batch indicator on this particular batches only?
The others batches of this material are fine. We can issue partially, as this indicator is not ticked.
    Thanks
    Shanny

If it is an own defined field, then it is only processed and filled and updated with your own logic in user exits and modifications.
In this case SAP  does not trigger the tick of the single unit batch indicator MCH1-XPCBT.
Easiest would be to go into SE11. display there table MCH1 and find field XPCBT.
select the field and click the where-used button.
Usually SAP shows which programm uses this field

  • Factoring a Goods Receipt Batch Value by 100

In our scenario we are receiving material using Batch Specific Alternate Units of Measure.  The base uom of the material is LB and we've created a Batch Specific uom called GLB under No Dimensions   We have also configured a conversion ratio called L/G (lb/glb) also under No Dimensions.
In configuration for the Batch Specific calculations for Proportional Factors we are using the "Calculation of base quantity from proportion/product quantity" section with the Characteristic UoM L/G and the calculation is Base Uom LB / Batch Specific UoM GLB
If the LB is at a 75.15% weight of the batch specific unit GLB then we enter .7515 in the characteristic.  This calculation works fines and delivers the desired result however to make it simpler to enter and less error prone I'm searching for a solution so that the end user can enter 75.15 which will result in the exact same conversion factor.
Is this possible and if so how.  I've tried many combinations of ratio factors in the Unit of Measure (t-code CUNI) with no success.

    Hi Jeff,
As 75.15% weight of the batch specific unit GLB  characteristic value .7515 conversion will be fine.
If you enter the value as 75.15 you not have conversion factor directly, Please refer OSS note 362932 -Conversion with proportion/product units
You can use the Object dependencies in that case. You enter data in any unit of measure. The conversion factors are determined by object dependencies using characteristics of the batch classification, or they are entered manually. If there is no conversion factor to be determined or none is entered, the system uses the planned conversion factor. The conversion factors are stored in the batch classification as characteristic values.
Also you can use the function module MURC_ROUND_FOR_FRACT which works with a new algorithm for the calculation of the approximation. This algorithm determines the best possible approximation depending on the available (decimal) places and the length of the conversion factors (numerator and denominator)

  • Single unit price for import purchase

    hi gurus
my client is procuring material from china so over head like purchase price, custom, clearing charges transportation and insurance come into picture.then while calculating costing he distribute the overheads proportionately base on product quantity.
by adding all the costs for single unit client calculates per unit cost.
how to do it in SAP???

    Many Many ways.
You do not say whether it is for costing purposes, or for purchase order purposes?
On PO you would add all costs using condition types. It also depends on whether you are shipping cost documents, or not, handling unit management or not.
On costing side it depends on the business requirements: Plan price is usually used as input to the costing, if more etailed is required a raw material cost estimate can be created.

  • Create multiple single unit wip jobs for total sales order line qty

    Hi all,
I want to know if there's a standard way to create multiple single unit wip jobs from a sales order line which has 2 or more units, i mean...
I have a sales order line with item A with 3 units. If I progress the sales order, a single job is automatically created in WIP with 3 units to be created. What i want is to create 3 jobs with one unit each, all of them linked to the sales line order...
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Sandeep
We have similar requirement (SO qty = 3 then 3 WIP jobs should be created). However when planning releases WIP jobs it does not tie back(reserve) the jobs to sales order.
Are you aware of any standard way to do the same??

  • How to deploy application as a single unit

    Hi
I have an application in jdeveloper that contains several bpel projects , some esb projects and some pure java based web service projects. Now i want a mechanism to deploy this whole application as a single unit on a production environment server. I know obant tool but problem is that it can deploy a single project and not a whole application. Any pointers on that how i can achieve this task?
    Thanks.

Thanks ashish, with your help i am able to deploy several bpel projects at one go.
But i am facing problem with auto esb deployments using ant build. As suggested by you i downloaded documentation.zip and executed steps given in it.
When i run ant , it shows build successful but when i goto esb console nothing comes up(ie esb projects is not getting deployed).

  • EM C+ 723 Periodic unit price of the material will be negative

    Hello All,
We have a problem in our production system , with the material ledger closing in transaction CKMLCP where for period 11 / 2011 the system has issued the error that u201CPeriodic unit price of the material will be negativeu201D for material ABCD in plant 1000.
The analysis shows an amount against 'Not Distributed' as a separate line above cumulative inventory.
We would like to know the reason for the error.
    regards
    Monali

    Dear Monali.
The error C+723 is not caused by a program error. It is issued when
the calculated price of a certain material would become negative.
The error occurs only for cycle materials because for materials that
are not in a cycle the system automatically applied a fallback strate
gy to avoid a negative price (by using a different price, for example
the actual price of the previous period or the standard price).
There are two options to deal with the error:
    1) You can analyze the reason why the price would become negative.
For this you can use the error document which is created by
multi level price determinatio for the affected material.
(-> use transaction CKM3). The negative price is caused by
negative variances allocated during the period at the material
itself or at one of its input materials.
You can then analyze via CKM3 the postings done for this material
and do a correction posting or complete a missing posting (for
       example a missing order settlement).
The long text of message C+723 gives more information.
After doing correction posting please repeat single and multi
       level price determination.
    2) If you have no time to analyze the error you can choose the
automatic error management for cycle materials.
In the variant maintenance of multi level price determination
choose Edit -> Show postprocessing options
In the frame 'Negative price: automatic error management you can
then check the box Cycle 'cut all connections'.
By doing this instead of issuing C+723 the system calculates
the cycle by cutting all connections. Thus the materials are
processed successfully, but no variances are rolled between
       materials within the cycle.
The F1 help gives more information.

  • Update info record when changing units of measure in material master

    Hello,
is there any possibility for an automatic change of info record when changing conversion factors in the material master ?
We have 3 units of measure in our material master: the base unit and 2 alternative units. The first alternative unit is the order unit and the second alternative unit is the order price unit. So in our purchase info records we maintain an order unit, which differs from the base unit and we also maintain an order price unit, which differs from the base unit and the order unit.
If we now change the conversion factors between the units in the material master, we would like to get an automatic change of the converions in the info record (to order unit and order price unit), which have the same previous conversions.
For IS R it seems to be implemented (see OSS-Note 975954).
Is there any solution for a "normal" industry system ?
    Thanks for answering
Edited by: Britta Heinsen on Jul 23, 2009 1:52 PM

I don't think such an auto update is available. Infact I came to know that such an update is available in IS-R after reading your query.
Obviously you an always create a workflow based enhancement that can synchronize the Info-records and material master changes or sort of enhancement which regularly reads the material master change history for such changes and trigger a synchronization by executing change Info-record automatically.

  • Unit of Measure in material master

    Hi
I have a Raw material consider (Forging) for which material master is maintained  "PC"  as Base unit of Measure. I have defined in Additional Unit of Measure as 500 KG = 1 PC. Also my order unit is also maintained as PC.
Here when they procure castings they order it as 1 PC only. But when the actual material comes there may be some variation in weight.  The client wants to make payment on actual weight basis only .
Also stock keeping unit and issue of material is done as PC only.
Please guide me how to address this issue.
    Regards
    Kumar.

    Hi
With the existing master data you can acheive your requirement. You can maintain the price in info record in Kgs or in PO Item conditions tab you can maintain the price per kg.
while doing the miro please enter the actual quantity in<b> Qty in PO price unit</b> in Quantity tab ans save the GR.When you do MIRO, system will propose Qty as 1PC and value as <b>Qty in PO price unit X Price per kg</b> maintained in PO.Please try this solution.
