Convert a number spreadsheet to a PDF file

how can I convert a numbers spreadsheet to a PDF file without scaling?
(I would like to share it as a PDF not to print it)
I have tried to do it several ways but I can't figure out how to do it good because automatically will Fit long sheet on one page

Hi Abraham.G
If you are looking to make a PDF from a single tab/sheet Apple has you covered. You still want to use the print dialog. Instead of sending it ot the printer choose PDF:
And Save as PDF.
Hope this helps.

  • Having trouble converting array to spreadsheet string, storing the file and coverting back to array with complex numbers

    I am working with a network analyzer. I have arrays made of 5 columns the first consisting of an integer and the next four consisting of complex numbers. I am converting the array into a spreadsheet string and then saving the file using the write characters to a file VI. That seems to work well as when I open the file in Excel all the data is there. However when I try to reverse the process, open file and convert back to array, I loose some of the data. Specifically the imaginary parts of my complex numbers are all going to zero. I have narrowed down the problem to be in the conversion from spreadsheet string to array and vice versa. I
    think the problem may be with the 'format' input to the VI. I do not have an adequate resource for this so I am not sure what to put in to accomplish my task. Any takers?

    Hi Biz
    I don't think there is a direct way of converting a complex number to a
    string, so when you convert the array to a spreadsheet string, the
    numbers would be converted to real data.
    However, you could try separating the real and imaginary parts using the
    "Numeric: Complex to Re/Im" function, and then store these - either in
    separate files or in adjacent columns/rows in the same file. Then, when
    you read in the data again, use the "Numeric: Re/Im to Complex" function
    to put the two "halves" together.
    If you actually want Excel to interpret the numbers as imaginary, then
    you'll probably want to create a string for each complex number of the
    form "Re + Im*i" (after separating the Re and Im parts), by using
    "String:Format into String" with 2 numeric inputs and the format string
    "%f+%fi".
    Reading the data back into Labview then would require splitting the
    string into the 2 pieces by using "Stringcan from String" with 2
    numeric outputs (smae precision as original numbers specified by the 2
    Default Value inputs) and the same format string "%f+%fi", and then using
    the above-mentioned "Numeric: Re/Im to Complex" function. It worked for
    me, so if you can't follow what I am describing, send me an email and I
    can email you what I did (LV 5.1.1).

  • Convert Multiple Outlook Emails to Multiple PDF Files (Not Portfolio or Single PDF) for Archiving?

    Hi all, I am learning how to convert emails to PDF files and there is some great functionality there!!  I have not discovered how to convert multiple outlook emails into multiple PDF files (one PDF file for each email) - all at the same time (not one at a time)!!  Is there a way to do this using Acrobat X??  The purpose of this is for long-term business archiving.  When I search for an email in the archive, I do not want to pull up a portfolio containing 1000 emails or a 1000 page PDF file with multiple emails run together!!!  I want to pull up individual emails containing my search terms.  I have been searching for a way to archive emails and MS OUTLOOK .PST files are NOT the answer.  I get a lot of business emails with large attachments and I do not file my emails in separate sub-folders (by client or job).  I want to convert multiple emails (by date range) from my UNIVERSAL INBOX into multiple PDF files for long term storage (with each email being converted into its own, separate PDF file and named with the same name as the "Re: line" of the email).  This has been a HUGE problem for me....and Acrobat is sooooo close to the solution for me.  Can anyone help??  If so, will attachments be converted?  If not, is there a separate software program or add-in that I can buy that will do this??  I use MS Office 2010, Adobe Acrobat X Pro, Windows 7 64 BIT.  Thanks for your help!!

    I am a retired person and did'nt realize I already have a Adobe account, so you can scrap the entire information. Thanks for the trial anyway and have a great week.

    how to convert a webpage program into a pdf file?

    Hi Federico,
    ExportPDF is the program to convert PDF into different Formats(Doc, Docx, xlsx, rtf) and not Vice Versa, I would suggest you to use CreatePDF Web application for converting any other format to PDF.

  • I need to convert few pages of a large pdf files, insert a signature then send as an email.

    Is this possible with this product?  I'm  not having much luck so far...
    What are the steps to convert pdf files in the first place?  I get them via email so do I:
    First download the whoe pdf file
    then upload it to ExportPDF,
    then convert it to Word or Excel
    then save
    then delete pages I don't need?
    I tried it and it look like a mess and I couldn't figure out how to select pages to delete....
    So I gave that up and just tried to go to the pages I need to update and the formatting gets all goofy when I try to enter info.  Font is too small, if I make the font bigger, then it gets lopped off the top or it really messes up the formatting more!
    And then I realize that the pages I work on need my signature.    Is there a way to add that?
    Otherwise, I will be needing to do what I'm trying to avoid doing which is having to print the forms, filling them out, signing them, then scanning so to email to my recipient.  It wouldn't really be a timesaver.
    Any advice?

    Absolutely disappointed in trying to make this work.  Wasted 3 days trying
    to use the product and ended up cancelling the order as it was more time
    consuming and error prone than just printing the pdf file out itself and
    handwriting in what I need.
    I thought this is what Adobe Export PDF is suppposed to be able to do.
    There are no tutorials on this so I signed up for it on good faith and it
    was so reasonably priced too ... boy what a let down.
    I would not recommend this particular product to anyone and I will send
    Adobe my review separately.

  • Converting a word document to a pdf file

    I know how to convert a pages document to a pdf but not a word one

    If you're using Word on OS X, then you just go File->Print. Then in the Print dialog, there's a button in the lower-left that says "Save to PDF". This can be done in any application on OS X.

  • How to convert a JSP page into a PDF file?

    I am calculating and generating a bill in JSP?
    I want the output JSP page from the server to get converted to a PDF file.
    How to do this?
    Please help me doing this!

    Hai CeciNEstPasUnProgrammeur
    Actually I didnt mean what you are asking?
    I will put it in this way,
    I am having a JSP output.
    If I save that page in the browser it should get
    saved as a PDF File,
    This is my problem,As far as I can see, you have two options:
    1) Ensure you have some kind of rendering tool installed on the server, render your JSP to that engine, capture the output as an image and transform the image to a PDF. Or a variation on that server-side theme.
    2) Take the data you would be/are pushing into a JSP, offer a "download" facility that just takes that data and wraps it into a PDF. Your server then serves out that PDF file.
    To save the browser view (your JSP) as a PDF each client machine would need to be set up with some mechanism to capture and save as PDF. You can't control that.
    I've had to do something similar in the past. In that case though we had a simplar task of just generating a stored HTML file that we could store in the DB and lock down. Our approach was to use XSLT over the generated XML data structure.
    I'd advise you doing the same and generating an XML file and then running an XSLT/FO process over it to generate your PDF file. Don't try to do all the fancy stuff on the client environment, that's an environment you usually have very little control over.

    How do I save the document as a PDF file? Whether it's the entire or a selected part of it. I did it a while ago and forgot.
    Yes, I have tried the Appleworks help but didn't find it. It's gotta be simple.
    G5 2.3 dual   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    You use the Print dialog to save as a PDF. Essentially, it prints to a file. Set up to print as usual & then, in the lower left of the dialog box click the Save as PDF button.

    You can also "share" via iCloud.
    The recipient can view it (and edit it, unless you specify read only) using a modern browser on a Mac or PC. The recipient does not need to have an iCloud account..

  • It is taking to long to convert an adobe form into a pdf file...what do I need to do it?

    Is there anyoneelse there?

    Hi timtimtimtim12345,
    You can use Adobe PDF Pack to combine PDF files (12 at a a time using that service). When you use PDF Pack, you can determine what order the files are combined in, but it doesn't offer more granularity than that. If you wanted more control over how the pages are combined, you would want to use Acrobat, which is also offered as a monthly subscription (and as an annual one).
    I am happy to swap your subscription for you. Please let me know if you'd like me to take care of that for you.

  • Printing a PDF document to virtual PDF printer converts text to image in output PDF-file

    When I "print" any regular PDF document to a PDF virtual printer, it always converts a source regular (textual) PDF document into an image only document. It applies even to pure plain text documents (say, HTML source code etc.)
    (I often need to create a PDF document from the existing PDF. Yes, I know, it might seems quite pointless, but actually it makes sense.)
    Thus I have 2 questions:
    1) Is such sonvertion normal or I do anything wrong myself?
    2) It is by design, is there any woraround to prevent conveting text to image?
    Many thanks in advance!

    Have you checked to see if the "Print As Image" option is inadvertently checked? In the Print dialog, click the Advanced button then look for the checkbox.

    Hi Henry,
    The ExportPDF online service allows you to convert PDF files to Excel format. I'm not familiar with ATX software, but in general, the quality of the conversion depends on how well the original PDFs are written.

  • Converting ALV grid into PDF file

    Hi,
    I have searched for a way to convert my ALV output into a PDF file, and then e-mail it, but I haven't succeeded in using what I found so far:
    CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF - I don't want it to work only when I run the report in the background.
    CONVERT_OTF - I don't have a sapscript input to provide the function with.
    What are the options available for me? I am forced to use any of these alternatives, eventually ?
    Thanks
    Avraham

    Hello,
    You can make use of the param IS_PRINT. But if you read the long text, it will create the spool but not display the ALV.
    A small code snippet for your ready reference:
    TYPE-POOLS slis.
    DATA: itab TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF t001,
          v_repid TYPE sy-repid,
          st_print TYPE slis_print_alv,
          v_spono TYPE rspoid.
    v_repid = sy-repid.
    st_print-print = 'X'. "Will create a spool req. but not diplay the ALV
    SELECT * FROM t001 INTO TABLE itab UP TO 20 ROWS.
    IF sy-subrc = 0.
      CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
        EXPORTING
          i_callback_program = v_repid
          i_structure_name   = 'T001'
          is_print           = st_print
        TABLES
          t_outtab           = itab
        EXCEPTIONS
          program_error      = 1
          OTHERS             = 2.
      IF sy-subrc = 0.
        MESSAGE ID sy-msgid TYPE sy-msgty NUMBER sy-msgno
                WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
        v_spono = sy-msgv1. "You have the Spool No., create the PDF :-)
        CLEAR st_print.
    *   As the previous call will not display ALV, call the FM again
        CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
          EXPORTING
            i_callback_program = v_repid
            i_structure_name   = 'T001'
            is_print           = st_print
          TABLES
            t_outtab           = itab
          EXCEPTIONS
            program_error      = 1
            OTHERS             = 2.
