Dear Expert,
Actually i have a ALV program and layout.
Now i want to open these program in HTML and XLS both the option, according to Radio Button selection for Html or XLS.
Then send this output to concern person via email as an attachment.
Plz. Help me as soon as posible

Because OTF is not a grid, like Excel, and PDF can also contain anything, I think it is not possible to convert an OTF, or PDF into an excel spreadsheet.
You can convert an ALV into excel and send it via email.

I have to read the spool data and send it via e-mail as .txt or .xls attachment. I have used FMs LIST_TO_ASCI, RSPO_RETURN_SPOOLJOB and SO_SOLITAB_TO_SOLIXTAB. I am using FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to send e-mail.
My problem is, the text file being sent is not showing entire data. It's getting truncated after 255 characters. Is this a standard? If yes, then is there any work around for it?
Alternatively, I can send the file as excel attachment. How can this be done?

Convert spool output of ABAP list into excel and send email
Hello All,
I have a requirement where we need to
1. schedule a background job programtically
2. moniter backround job (if complete or not)
3. once its complete take spool output ,convert into excel and email.
I have following difficulties.
1. i have reached upto stage 3. However, i am not getting proper ouput of excel via mail. it contains junk characters. I searched SDN and tried various option but not successful.
2. AT last i have submited report and collected output in memory rather than submiting back ground job. Now excel out put is coming somewhat as required but while sending mail , i am getting limitation of 255 chars . My excel row has more than 255 line size.
Please suggest.

Check your Control Panel on the forums to change the way Watches are placed on threads. Be default, any threads you create or respond to are watched, which results in email being sent to you. Also, to remove any existing watches, check "Your Watches"

by this way you can send excel as an attachment
but problem in sending EXCEL attachment is if the data crosses the limit of excle file the file will not open. -

Are you saying, you are getting junk characters in the email attachment? Then pls check the following. Since you want to send Japanese fonts, please pass language 'J' in both objpack-obj_langu = '3' & doc_chng-obj_langu = '3' instead of '3' please replace it with 'J'.
Another thing which you may have to check is the SCOT device type. As I understand from my basis colleague, this may also affect your attachment fonts since the emails are sent through SCOT. Go to transaction SCOT-> Settings-> Device types for format conversion. Check whether wrong device type is defined for Japanese there. Hope this helps

I have modified a standard PO Smartform and running it through ME23N.
In this i have to convert it to a pdf file and then send it through mail to the vendor.
I have found out FMs'CONVERT_OTF'and
'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'
to convert it and send mail. But can u tell me how to go about using it.
As i am using a standard program do i have to copy this prog to zprog and then call the fm out there. I am not sure.

Owner of the public folder is not able to move or remove or create items underneath
Scenario: "ABCD" is the parent folder to which the user A given owner rights using EMC console. system admin creates 2 new sub-folders underneath and given user A with "owner" rights. Now the problem is out of 2 sub-folders one works fine(it means "u
