Convert CS6 to CC, transfer CS6 license to different user

We have two users who will be getting Creative Cloud licenses shortly. They currently have CS6 licenses. How can I migrate them to Creative Cloud and de-activate the CS6 license and re-use it for another user? Do I need to uninstall CS6 on their machine and re-install on another? Can I just deactivate CS6 on one machine, add the CC license and install CS6 on another machine using my now free CS6 key?

I solved the nik problem (you have to access plugins before reloading the programs) but still can not transfer my "collections" from bridge cs6 to CC. The collections am referring to is one of the tabs in bridge such as folders, metadata, previews, keywords, etc. I have many stored folders of images in collections that I would like to transfer instead of rebuilding from scratch.

Is there a way to have purchased songs located in the Music list on iTunes of two Users and three locations: 1. on the same iMac computer that has two users (we both share the same iTunes account) and 2. on a separate laptop. Two users, same iTunes account, three locations. Possible? I have tried Home Sharing and it will not let me drag the songs from one account to the other; either on the same computer, or to the laptop. I have transferred TV Shows from the laptop to the imac using an iPod. I thought the Home Sharing feature would eliminate this need to manually transfer songs, movies, TV shows etc... What am I missing here?

PS CS6 standard perpetual license has been converted to a CC PS CS6 Extended license

I run PS CC alongside PS CS6 standard with a perpetual license. A recent update, and I'm not sure which, has converted my PS CS6 standard install into the Extended CS6 version. Can anyone tell me if this is a known bug? How should I go about resolving this? Should I simply deactivate Extended and uninstall, then reinstall CS6 standard? I don't think this should have happened in the first place, so I'm a little concerned about spending a bunch of time resolving this only to have it happen again.

CS6 should not remain a perpetual version as you are already having CC membership for Ps CC activated.
This is expected behavior.
PS 13.1.2 is a subscription patch(for Creative Cloud users) not for perpetual, this would not get applied over 13.0.1.x(update for perpetual). As you have 13.0.1.x already applied then you need to re-install Ps CS6 to get Ps 13.1.2.

Adobe CS6 is now a trial license of extended

I have multiple end users at my company using various applications. For the sake of this forum, one of the applications is Photoshop CS6 that was installed and licensed back in 2012. All of a sudden, the user is getting a trial version of CS6 extended and the trial license has expired. I've entered in the serial # and it's telling me that it's invalid. After calling support, they told me that the license # I've provided isn't even associated with Photoshop. I'm at a standstill and am unsure how to proceed. It's worth noting that this has also happened with users using Acrobat XI Pro, Framemaker 10, and Illustrator. They all reported this issue on the same day. Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

I installed Adobe CS6 Master Collection for Mac, licensed it and updated it on twenty iMacs. This a University computer lab with many users. Sometimes Adobe software starts in trial mode as if the license key hasn't been entered. What could be the problem?

Could you please tell me how did you install Master Collection on 20 machines.
If you have installed Master Collection on 1 Mac and created an Image of the OS and then installed it on the 20 Mac's then you may come across with this kind of issue.
In Order to properly deploy the Master Collection please use our Deloyment Tool to create a Serialised Package and then use the same to deploy it on the 20 Mac's.

How do i get authorization to reinstall CS6 as I have a license?

I would like to uninstall & reinstall CS6. I have a license and am afraid I will not be able to reinstall. How do I get authorization?

I dont understand why I cant find it in my downloads folder. At the time I copied the files that looked like it might be what I needed & only today learned it was nothing but fonts.
The pdf download instructions are there. Purchased in june 2012. Anyway, I dont have it. I bought it from techsoup. Have a confirmation email from them but nothing with the serial number.
The problem I'd like to solve is with Bridge. I started having problem recently. It constantly demands I purge cache. Gets really frustrating, but it works in CS5 & so I'll just have to use that & forget about uninstalling/reinstalling. According to some of the forum stuff I was looking at about this problem it might not even fix it.
However, I expect to get a new mac this year and will want to install CS6 on it, so it would be good to get it worked out now.

This might sound a bit silly question but I need to hear from you who knows better. Is Photoshop CS6 Teacher Student Edition (Permanent License) NOT the CC Edition is a CD-ROM. I mean a regular CD that contains the program and I can install it on my IMac?

Well, this is a nitpick, but a CD can only hold 600 MB. Photoshop is way larger than and is supplied on a DVD.
Just by looking on Amazon,you may get it as a boxed item (DVD) or as a download. Adobe offers it as a download.

More importantly register your software with Adobe. Your serial number will be stored under your account. How many times have people come into this forum and started with, "I replaced my 5 year old rusty PC, and can't figure out what happened to my serial number...HELP!!"

the whole process depends on a number of factors, but generally takes more than 10 minutes and less than 2 hours. the biggest factor is your download speed if you need to download the installation file(s).
