Convert .eps file to .jpg or .pdf

Hello,
I'm using Adobe to deal with .eps files.
My problem is to display graphic arts in "read only mode". That means when I'm done developing graphics in my .eps file, I want to display this graphics to other user without giving him option to edit it or delete it.
I'm trying to accomplish this true Visual Studio 2005, C# .net
Does somebody have any suggestions?

John,
I'm using COM reference Adobe Photoshop 9.0 Type Library in my project. This Library includes methods like "Export" (expect parameters: string ExportIn, object ExportAs, object Options) or "Save as" (expect parameters: string SaveIn, object AsCopy, object ExtensionType) , that I don't know how to use it properly.
Please let me know how to implement those things.
Thanks!

    2. rename the fla extension to zip and unzip it to utilize its bitmaps.

  • How to convert mime file to JPG

Can anyone tell me how to convert mime-attachments to JPG files?
Photos that I take on my cell phone and that I send to my e-mail address show as photos when I receive them but the file is converted from a JPG file (in the phone) to a mime-attachment when it arrives in Mail. If I forward the e-mail from my Mac to another e-mail address, the recipients can't open the attachment so they can't see the photo. I can't convert the file to JPG again because no programs I have seem to recognize the mime-attachment file and none will open it.
    Help! Thanks.

I think I answered my own question. After checking out several sites with various information about MIME attachments, I added .jpg to the file and it opened. Soon I should find out if the newly renamed file can be read in the e-mails I send.

I don't think that Adobe offers any software to convert .azw4 files.  Search Google for alternate converters.

  • Preview:  no "save as"?  no way to convert .pct file to .jpg???

Preview (6.0.1) - Mac OS 10.8 has gotten rid of "save as" and convert to jpg"  WHY?  It was SO convenient to be able to do this!
    Process:
    1.  Pause a video in Quicktime 7.
    2.  Choose export > movie to picture > otpions > JPG
    3.  For some reason, QT saves it as a ".PCT" file, NOT a true jpg.  Why?  I've never understood this.
    4.  Open ".pct" file in Preview
    5.  I want to convert this file to a jpg, but there is NO SAVE AS.  If I choose "export", all I get is something called "quickdraw picture" and "pdf".
Please tell me there is a way for Mountain Lion to simply convert a ".PCT" file to a jpg.

I'm not home right now to test this to give you an accurate answer.
But click on the files as if you are going to change the name. When the name is highlighted, click in the .pct part to highlight it. Once that is done, type in .jpg. Press Enter and an "are you sure" message will come up. Click accept and it should now be .jpg.
Again, idk for sure if this will work.

  • Converting RAW-file to jpg in Photoshop Elements 13?

In Photoshop Elements 13, I can't convert my RAW-file to jpg? The only format to choose from is dng? Why is so. Why I cannot find jpg file format anywhere?

Open the camera raw file (press the Open button in the camera raw dialog) into the editor and then Go to File>Save As>Jpeg

  • How convert raw files to jpgs in batches quickly

I have hundreds of photos I need to use in Indesign. I can't place RAW files and all the jogs my photographer gave me are way too small. I need to process out loads of big high res files so I can use them. Is there a way to convert them all to jpgs at once? I've tried batching and I'm not doing it right since its' not working.

See if File>Scripts>Image Processor does what you want.

  • CS5 converting .eps files

I discovered, much to my horror, when I first began using CS5 that when I created an .eps file in Illustrator that my files were being converted to Photoshop .eps files. Using the Get Info window, I had to change the option in the Open With box back to having it open in Illustrator, where it was created.
The advice I was given at that time was to click the Change All button to have all .eps files open in Illustrator. When I did this, it changed all the .eps files that I had created in Photoshop to Illustrator files.
I had created some Grayscale images in Photoshop to put them into a layout. The last time this file went to press, I had not changed all the files over in the Get Info window yet. Recently, after checking the box that now made all my Photoshop files Illustrator files, there was a problem with the printer because Illustrator does not have a Grayscale Color Mode option, so my Grayscale files were now CMYK. This got me in a lot of trouble at work.
Is there any reasonable solution to this other than changing each .eps file to open and be identified with the native file? I have hundreds of .eps files.
Has this been corrected in any subsequent versions of CS?
    Thanks

The most reasonable solution I've found to is to purchase an inexpensive utility which can control appication opens common file types in the application you like:
    Soxy | Rorohiko Workflow Resources
    From the web page:
"Soxy automatically determines the type of each file you open and then directs it to the most appropriate application.
"There’s a problem when a computer has multiple versions of applications installed (like Adobe® InDesign®, QuarkXPress®, Adobe Illustrator®, Adobe Photoshop®, etc…). Opening a file will often cause the wrong application version to launch."
I don't work from them, I'm just a happy customer.
