Convert from 2009 to 2013

I have a drvier code from Watlow that I need to convert from 2009 to 2013 and is attached. Could someone help with this?

These functoids are custom functoids. No standard functoids has disappeared from 2009 to 2013!
Since they are 3rd. party functoids you must have installed in your 2009 environment, you will, naturally, need to install them again.

Errors with VI after down converting from 2009 to 8.x and porting from Windows to Linux

Hi All,
I'm pretty new to Labview so I've been trying to learn along the way. I've been tasked with porting a .VI that my supervisor developed on Windows to a Linux machine. The ultimate goal would be to build an executable that would be able to run on Linux based VMEs. The .VI was developed on Labview 2009 and the Linux machine has Labview 8.2. From what I understand I would need to downconvert the .VI in 2009 to be compatible with 8.2, then from there I would compile the .VI on 8.2 in Linux and create the executable.
After having downconverted the .VI I tried to run the .VI to see if the program still worked/if any parts were broken. Unfortunately, it seems like after having downconverted and porting to Linux the program is unable to communicate over TCP/IP with the module that the program was designed to work with. My supervisor ran the debugging application where it showed the progress of the data as it travelled along the block diagram and it seems to break at the TCP write blocks.
The error that I've recieved was Error 56 at TCP Read in WriteThenReadRegister.vi->E_LINAC_BPM_REV.1.0.vi
Possible reasons: labview: the network operation exceeded the user-specified or system time limit.
We've tested the connection outside of Labview and the Linux VME can definitely communicate with the module in xterm.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to start trouble shooting this?

I guess I should also post the .VIs in case someone could give some insight as to what's breaking.
Again, I need to downconvert this from 2009 to 8.2 to run on a linux machine.
In the mean time I'll be playing around with the "save as previous version" and the tool kit options.

Photo app not showing chunk of photos from 2009 to 2013 (says it's "downloading")

For some reason when I click on the photos tab it says downloading below my most recent picture. When I scroll up it will show me back to april 29th of 2013. Then there is a large gap between 2013 and 2009 and there are image placeholders there. When I zoom out into the Years option I can see this better. Then there's a string of photos waaaaay back in 2012 (or there about). Why are these placeholders there and not my pictures?
I know there have been changes to the photos app but I haven't changed anything on my phone, downloaded any new apps or deleted anything that would have caused this. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm also including a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Just found PhotoUpLink which allows you to send the full quality images to your email. What's quite good is that it allows you to select more than one image to send together. Not exactly what I was looking for, but does the job much better than the current Apple (non tethered) method.

In LV2013 do File...Save For Previous Version.
I don't know if this is available for all LV version (I have Pro). You can also post your vi to the version conversion board

Converting Word Templates from 2003 to 2013 Version

Hello. I work at a school environment and most of our secretaries had been running Office 2003. They have a lot of Word templates. Recently, as we have decided to upgrade Office to 2013, we have the problem of hundreds of old templates
that need to be converted over to the 2013 version.
Is there a quick and efficient way to do this? Instead of manual converting each file, one by one.

I added the wdDoc.Convert because otherwise you are not explicitly converting documents but only renaming them to .docx
The additional functionality of Office 2013 comes available when the document is actually converted. You can test this by opening the document after het has been really converted, you should be able to see the SmartArt options. If you only rename them to
.docx you will see that the 'new' smart art functionality is not available.
Doesn't mean that the provided code block by Edward doesn't work, it does a great job. My advice would be to add the convert line if you really want 'converted' files.
Last thing you have to think about is these code snippets use SaveAs2, that means that you will get two instances of your document. If you choose convert you are actually converting the original document. In that case you do not choose SaveAs2
but you use Save.

If the "it" refers to a compressed (zipped) spreadsheet that you downloaded, the ".ods" extension is used by LibreOffice and probably OpenOffice (which are free versions of MS Office) for spreadsheets, which would suggest that wherever you're getting that "Excel" file from has switched to one of those programs. I've tried opening an .ods file from LibreOffice using MS Office 2013 for Windows and it does open though with a warning that some things have been changed. I don't know if Office for Mac can normally open .ods files. But if your need is to just open .ods files, take a look at LibreOffice.

In the below code am trying to get the current date and 60 days prior date:

I don't think this exception is thrown from the portion of code you have shown. As clearly specified in exception message, you cannot cast an instance of java.util.Date to java.sql.Date. you will need to do something like this
java.util.Date today = new java.util.Date();
long t = today.getTime();
java.sql.Date dt = new java.sql.Date(t);
