Convert from Non-RAC to RAC-What should be the approach?

Hi All,
We have a single node installation with EBS 11.5.10.2 and 9iR2 db.
Our requirement is to upgrade the db to 10gR2 and implement RAC.
I am really confused as to how should we proceed with this.
1.If we upgrade the database to 10g first,can it be converted to RAC after this upgradation?If yes then how do we do it??Using rconfig???
2.What exactly we need to do regarding the filesystem?At which step this conversion has to be done??
3.If our current filesystem is raw,then at which point we need to convert it to ASM/OCFS??ie before upgrading the db or after it is upgraded to 10g??

You can do it either way. It kind of depends on your requirements. Do you have minimal downtime requirements to meet? Do you have the ability to set up you hardware at your leisure, or do you have to reuse your current hardware? Given all the time and hardware I needed, I would do it like this:
1. Acquire the new hardware.
2. Configure the hardware and shared storage.
3. Install clusterware.
4. Install Oracle 10gr2.
5. Backup your old instance.
6. Migrate your old database using export/import or whatever method you like.
Whatever method you choose, it is vital that you rehearse on a non-critical instance to make sure your methodology is valid.

I have to get open Sales Order from SAP to BW and report on it .
The data structure is like :
"partno , desc , order no , del no , qty on order , qty delivered , qty in inventory , qty in 10 w , qty in 11w , qty of type 916 , balance qty ... "
I am planning to write an extractor FM that would fetch all the open SO and then for each get the quantity , do the calculation and then pass it to BW for reporting ? In BW i plan to make a infosuorce of same type and then load into a cube ?
OR
Get the SO in a seperate infosource and Inventory data in a seperate and then create a multiprovider ?
What is the best practice / better approach for this kind of scenario where data is fetched from various SAP tables?

Hi,
You'll have to weigh the pros and cons of both approaches. Ex if you do all the calculations in the FM and then transfer the data to BW, the initial extraction may take time but the reporting will be fast.
In the second approach, reporting might be slower, as the report runs off the multiprovider.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Thanks a lot for the answer. I'm so upset, have no even one contact on my phone. I has to do with the moving to iCloud from MobileMe.
I did exactly what you wrote, and when trying to click the vcf file on the iPhone the screen freezing, and then after few long seconds it goes alon to home.
So I tried less contacts in a Vcard, and i'm dividing my address book, doing little by little and it work.

Another way. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

If you delete songs (and other items) from the main iTunes library, yes, you need to empty the Trash because iTunes puts the song files into the Trash. When deleting items from an iPod, the items are not being deleted from the main iTunes library, so nothing should end up in the Trash.
Hopefully, you are not deleting items from your main iTunes library, just to sync those deletions from the iPod. If you are, there is a better way. You can post back if you want more info...

I'm making my first steps in After Effects.
I bought Classroom in a book After Effects cc.
The first step i have to take in lesson 1 is "Open and play the lesson01.mov sample movie to see what you will create in this lesson.
When i dubbel click this file.. this message pops up in AE (This project must be converted from version (macintosh 64) 12.0.x293. The original file will be unchanged)
The file will not play, and in the composition panel only a test image appears.
Why is this and how can i fix it?
I allready finished Lesson 1 but i still hope someone can explain me this message.
I hope its not a stupid question but it is particularly difficult for me because English is not my native language and all the lesson material is in English.

The warning simply means that the file was created in an older version of AE. The other issue is that you did not put your footage in the correct locations and it is missing. Use File --> Replace Footage to point to the proper storage locations.
