Convert Multi Pages PDF into SWF SLideshow

Is there an easy way to convert a multiple page PDF into an
SWF slideshow?
What I need to do is to make a slideshow out of a 30 pages
PDF, hoping to have it play slide by slide automatically with a 5-7
seconds interval.
Help appreciated!

Thank you isabellarola!
However the link you posted only tells you how to import a
Flash video into a Powerpoint Presentation. I actually need it the
other way around, which is PDF to SWF. I tried SWFTOOLS but the
result is very disappointment and the options are limited.

  • Convert multiple page pdf into multiple page jpeg

This question was posed several years ago but not answered completely.
I have a 7MB three page PDF document ( a scan ) that I'd like to reduce in size so that I might attach it to an email it easily.
I've tried to "reduce file size" in Preview app's PDF export settings but that renders the document unreadable and useless.
I've tried to Preview export to jpeg but only one page at a time gets exported. This is not acceptable. I want a single three page document.
Otherwise I have to wait 10 minutes for the pdf to attach to my email and God only knows what the recipient thinks when they see "7MB attached document".
BTW I've also tried adding the pdfs to a Word document but that introduced a mismatched document sizing anomaly. WHAT THE HECK!!!! Why can't this be easier???

Anybody know if it's possible to convert a multiple page PDF into ONE TIFF file in Acrobat Pro?
    No.

  • Convert multi-page pdf to multi-page jpg files?

    Hi,
My boss has asked me to convert a large number of multiple-page pdfs into multiple-page jpgs. I have been able to convert the pdfs to jpgs in photo shop using image processor, but the processor only captures the first page of the multiple page documents and when I have been able to convert an entire pdf to jpeg, it creates individual jpg files for each separate page.
How can I convert the multiple-page pdf file to a single multiple-page jpg file?
    many thanks!

    You have the right idea.
1.Make each page a jpg file. Pretend they are named Page 1, Page 2, etc.
    2. Create a new file with a page size and res of your jpg files. Let's call this the Master file.
3, With the Master file appearing on your monitor:
    4. Open Page 1. Click on it in the Layers Panel and drag it over the Master. It will become Layer 1 in the Master.
5..Repeat Step 4 until you have all the pages, as separate layers in the Master. (Layers 2, 3, etc,)
    6. Save the Master file. It will be a psd file.
Check Google and learn how to create and use Photoshop Layer Comps. Trust me. It is not difficult.
Once completed, each time you strike the Forward symbol in the Layer Comps panel you will display the next page.
Yes, you can go Backward to see previous pages as you view them. too.

  • How do I import multi-page PDFs into an indesign document?

Note:  When I search for answers to this question on the adobe site, i encounter a broken link.
I need to insert several multi-page PDFs such that they become one document that I am able to appy consistent control over.  Should I be doing this in indesign?  What is the best way to do this?

If you don't want to use them in InDesign for any other purpose than to assamble them in one new PDF I would rather use Adobe Acrobat Pro than InDesign.
In Acrobat Pro: Create new Deocument > Form multiple Files, select further what you need.

  • Importing multi-page PDF into ID.

Help. I have a 25 page PDF file that is made to be printed and folded.
The pages are setup in sequence. I want to be able to import all those pages, but I wonder how I would be printing the document if I'm able to import it in ID. I want to print them, fold them and staple folded pages, so that requires to setup all pages not in a sequence since I will stapling them, but it would be page 1 and 25, then page 2 and 24, page 3-23. Since I never done anything of this sort, how would go about doing that. or is there another solution someone could suggest that is better.
    Please let me know.
    Thanks - Ben

There are a bunch of scripts that come with ID. One is place multiple page PDF. Then search the forum for imposition scripts by Dave Saunders. There's one for ID2 and one for ID3. When you run that script you will have a booklet. Pages must be in multiples of four in case you're not aware (take a sheet of paper and fold it in half to see what I mean).

  • How to convert a multi page PDF document into a single TIF file?

    Hi!
We are trying to convert a multi page PDF document into a single TIF file. We are using Adobe Acrobat Standard v 9. Can it be possible?

I am also looking for feedback.  Although having a PDF copy of a document is wonderful, long term and efficient archival for my workplace is tif or tiff.
Very frustrating that the PDF to tiff creates a separate tiff file for each page of the multi-page PDF document.  Are there any options or work-arounds?

  • How can I convert digitally signed PDF's so I can combine them into a single multi-page PDF?

We are an architectural firm and we receive drawings from consultants as PDF's that are digitally signed.  In order to combine all of our drawings into a single PDF, we currently send the PDF's to a printer, have them printed, and scan them as new PDF's.  This process reduces the clarity of the PDF and re-printing the scanned PDF's reduces the clarity even further.  Is there a way to "flatten" or otherwise convert the digitally signed PDF's so we can combine them into a single multi-page PDF?  Making a portfolio is not an option.  We need an actual multi-page PDF for a variety of reasons.  This problem is actually preventing our office from using digital signatures so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't. There was a discussion on this Forum a few months ago on this subject. Look it up for more info.

  • Is it possible to automatically convert a website into a multi-page pdf?

I have a weblog that has reached the end of it's life, so the site is coming down. Before I do, however, I need to create a permanent record and a single multi-page pdf file would be perfect.
I know I can do this with Acrobat Professional, but I am hoping there is an automatic way to export the html pages into a single pdf file without doing each page one-by-one manually.
If anyone knows how to perform this task, please let me know.
    Thanks!

What version of Acrobat do you have? In Acrobat 9 you'd select:
File > Create PDF > From Web Page
    or
Advanced > Web Capture > Create PDF From/Append Web Page
There are various options that affect the result, including the number of levels to capture, page layout, how multimedia is handled, etc. Acrobat 11 is more advanced and will likely give the best results.

  • __Is there a way to make a multi-layer Ai file into a multi-page PDF? (1 layer per page)

__Is there a way to make a multi-layer Ai file into a multi-page PDF? (1 layer per page)
    thanks

    Definitely can be done.
In CS 4 you create an artboard for each page and the position the art for the corresponding page on the corresponding artboard and make a layer for that art. This way it does not even matter if the layer s are properly layered when saving the pdf. Just as long as the artboards are.
CS 3 and earlier  back a larger document that can be divided into whole pages by turning on tiling and using the page tool position that art.
Position the art for each page over the designated artboard make a layer for each pages art now when you export the with tiling on and you wll get a multi page pdf.

  • MULTI PAGE PDF

Can you create a multipage PDF in Photoshop Elements 8? If so, how?

    Hello Brooklyn KJ,
Yes, PSE can create multipage PDF. First, you have to designate that your document has multiple pages. You can do this in a number of ways, but under the Edit menu is the command Add Blank Page. Using this command will convert your open document into a PSE. You can continue adding pages and cut and paste content to each page. Then, just go to File>Save As... change the format from PSE to PDF (the only two choices available). You will now have a multi-page PDF.

  • Slow Illustrator Multi-Page PDF Export + Alternative Solutions

    Hello everyone,
I have a recurring job that requires 50-60+ small illustrations be placed into a few different layouts. The workflow I have set up right now is as follows: All of the illustrations are drawn in one Illustrator file with multiple page tiles. This file is exported as a multi-page PDF and placed in InDesign layouts. One main problem with this system is that it takes a long time to export 60+ page tiles from Illustrator.
I'm totally open to any alternative workflow solutions or recommendations someone might suggest, but there are a few reasons why I've chosen the multi-page PDF approach. The Illustrations share global swatches and symbols and graphic styles and sometimes these items need to be tweaked. Editing everything in one file is faster than opening, changing, and saving 50-60 individual Illustrator files. My client often needs me to make alterations to the illustrations, and sometimes these Illustrations appear on more than one page and in different layouts. Using the one multi-page PDF helps everything stay nice and consistent across every layout and every page.
If anyone has any suggestions for how to speed up the Illustration export or alternative workflow recommendations, I'd love to discuss them.
    Thanks!

As Scott said, the multiple artboards in CS4 are the most efficient way to do that and upgrading sure will help to streamline your workflow. Your problem is that each element needs to be stripped, possibly flattened and other data removed when creating the PDF and that can take its toll. The only other way to do it IMO would be some script that takes each layer of your doc and converts it to an individual AI file or PDF. It may just not have any advantage at all - scripts can be slow if a lot is goingon and it still would take time to save and convert the files.

  • Can't save as multi-page PDF in CS4

Hey everyone, I'm having major trouble with page tiling in CS4.
I have a CS2 file that has two pages in it with page tiling enabled, I saved this as a PDF with multiple pages just fine out of CS2. I now have it open in CS4 and am unable to do the same thing, my PDF always comes out as one long page. I can't work with multiple artboards because the file will be used in CS2 again and needs to remain backwards compatible.
In the Print Dialogue I have "Tile" set to "Full Pages", the print preview window on the left shows me two pages, just the way it should be.
Once I go into the Save as PDF Dialogue in CS4, I do not have the "Create Multi-Page PDF from page tiling" - option that is there in CS2 in the general tab.
I've been trying to find a solution for the past two hours but am at my wit's end. I'd greatly appreciate some help.

Just draw two artboards where the tiles would be then save it as a pdf. I should open in CS 2 without the artboards since CS 2 does not support artboards.
Nothing will be different in CS2.
Or simply make a copy for CS 4 with artboards and one for CS 2 but adding artboards to the CS 2 file when opned in CS 4 should be  a problem.

  • Place multi-page pdf and resize pages automatically

    Hi everyone,
I have an A4 sized multi-page pdf file and I wanted to place the pages of the pdf into a US letter sized Indesign document. I planned to use the placemultipagepdf.jsx script that comes with indesign, to do this. When I place the pages though, they come in as A4 and I have to adjust the size manually within each image box. Is there a way to have them place but then resize automatically to the US letter sized height?
    Appreciate any help.

  • How do i save a multi page spreadsheet as a multi page pdf

how do i save a multi page numbers 3.5 spreadsheet as a multi page pdf?  has this feature been removed?

I don't use Numbers - so I don't know if it had that option.  Here is a kluge, if you print a Numbers sheet to PDF using print from the File menu, then open that PDF file in Preview, then choose the Thumbnail View options you can drag any desired page(s) from that Numbers converted to PDF file to your desktop or folder.  Those files will have a  (dragged) #.pdf name in them.
Edit: I misunderstood you to say how do you print multiple page PDF Numbers as Multiple page PDF.
To Jerold's reply below, you have to make sure you select all pages.  I think it defaults to current page.  You can also export via Numbers to PDF.
