Convert PE12 to WVM

I am new to PE. I read how that I can export to many file types on Adobe Websit, but I cannot find out how to do it. I gone to share, its not there, I gone to File Project save and saveas its not there, I went to Expert mode, but it was not there (there was an export on the file menu grayed out, and it only would export part if it would work). By the youtubes I have watched it seem at least PE9 it could easily be done.
I got Windows Movie Maker for free and at least it can be saved to a WVM file. Not good quaility, but it does work.

Can we assume that you are running Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer. I will assume that for now.
After you set up the Premiere Elements 12 project correctly, there are numerous export choices, export to file saved to the computer hard drive as well as burn to disc (DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc, AVCHD format on DVD disc, and Blu-ray disc format on Blu-ray disc).
In Premiere Elements 12, the exporting is the section of the program named Publish+Share.
The choices under Publish+Share are
Private Web Album
Social Websites
Disc
webDVD
Computer
Mobile Phones and Players
You need to explore what is there and what you want to do.
Let us focus on the Computer choice. Under Computer, you will find
Adobe Flash Video
MPEG
AVCHD
XAVC-S
AVI
Windows Media
QuickTime
Image
Audio
Many do not see beyond the first three in the Computer list, because they need to use the scroll bar to the right Adobe Flash Video to see the rest in the list. Another to get at the rest of the list without using the scroll bar is to select Adobe Flash Video so that its panel turns blue. Then use the down arrow key to move down the list.
In Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1, the exporting area was named Share. In version 12, it is called Publish+Share. You should have no problems. In 9.0/9.0.1, you had the Timeline view and the Sceneline view. In 12 the counterpart workspaces are Expert and Quick. You can be working in either of these or Guided Expert or Guided Quick. Try to stay with the Expert workspace since I believe you will see better what you are doing and thus have more control over your projects.

  • Camera Raw plug-in update for PE12

When will PE12 support camera raw for the Canon Powershot GX7 ?

If you are talking about the G7 X, there won't be an upgrade for Photoshop Elements12 that will support that camera. Elements 12 can use up to Camera Raw 8.5, the camera requires at least 8.7. You could download the DNG converter 8.7.1 and create DNG copies that can be used by Elements 12. Or, you can upgrade to Photoshop Elements 13.

  • Converting VOC files to Mp3 or WMV format?

I need an app for converting VOC audio files to a format my media player (VLC) will play, e.g., WVM or Mp3.

I recommend iDealshare VideoGo which can convert all kinds of VOC files whatever  recorded from RCA digital recorder or other digital voice recorders or  even DOS games to almost all popular audio format.
Besides converting  VOC audio, this powerful VOC Converter also can directly play VOC files  or even edit VOC audio.
Detail guide on how to convert or edit VOC files at How to Convert VOC to MP3?

I have PE11 I try PE12 When update for Camera raw is ok for my Nikon D610 ?

Support for Nikon D610 is added is ACR 8.3 only. Hopefully it would be available for PSE12.
If you want to use your Nikon D610 raw files with ACR in PSE11, you can instead use adobe camera raw convertor to convert your raw files to .DNG format.
You can download ACR 8.3 convertor from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/cameraraw8-3.html?PID=5157839

  • PE12 freezes when adding media

I haven't used PE12 since about April, and now that I have something to do, the program will not let me add media by any means.
I have already had issues with audio problems (here Re: Video Quality dropped and Audio out of sync (APE 12)) and went through the Handbrake sequence to try and edit some new clips. However when starting a new project (as described in previous thread) no matter how I try to add media (drag & drop, files/folders) the dialogue box that says"adding media" pops up but nothing happens. no status bar progression, no timer icon, nothing. Try to click cancel and the the (Not Responding) message appears in the box. I then get everyone's favorite message "Premiere Elements 12 has stopped responding. Would you like to Close the Program or Wait for it to Respond?".
I have done both. I've restarted the computer. I've installed the updates and restarted. I've even tried going into a previous project and adding media to that. No luck.
PE has been nothing but a headache from the word go and I'm about to seek a refund. If you're trying to decide on PE12 or something else, go with something else.

Sorry to learn of your Premiere Elements 12 on 8.2 64 bit setbacks. For background, are you still working solely with the HandBrake converted video as source media?
    1. My current understanding is that, if you purchased the product from Adobe direct, then you have within 30 days of purchase for the money back. If purchased some place else, then you need to contact the seller for its return policy. Adobe is strict about 30 days within purchase, so be aware of that and watch the date. See Adobe Chat
    Under Membership, Account, Payment..
    Contact Customer Care
    2. Premiere Elements and HandBrake conversion apparently was the answer to your prior question. Now it sounds like you cannot introduce media into Premiere Elements at all. Am I correct in understanding that this is true for old and new projects? If so, it would appear that the issue goes to program rather than project? Does the problem disappear if you disable the antivirus program?
    a. Have you deleted the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if necessary, the whole 12.0 Folder in which it exists?
    To do that
    Local Disk C
    User
    Owner
    AppData
    Roaming
    Adobe
    Premiere Elements
    12.0
and in the 12.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then you delete the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. Be sure to be working with Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active so that you can view the complete path cited.
    3. Also, please make sure that you do not have pile ups of preview files, conformed audio files, and conformed video files.
See Libraries/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/12.0 and the Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files Folder and the Media Cache Files Folder.
And, Edit Menu/Preferences/Media and its Media Cache Database area.
    4. I think it highly unlikely that the current issue targets your video card driver version since it was only April 2014 and all was going well with the HandBrake converted videos as your source media. Was there an automatic video card driver update from April 2014 until now July 2014?
Let us know if any of the above worked for you. If not, we will consider other troubleshooting if you wish to continue with the product. Depending on your answers, the next step might be to Sign Out of a project Help Menu/Sign Out, uninstall the program (Control Panel), ccleaner run through (regular and registry cleaning parts), and then reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) turned off.
Looking forward to your follow up.
And best wishes whatever your decision.

  • Help getting AVI files into PE12

I have AVI videos from some cheap Hitachi HD cameras which won't load in PE12. The files load as just audio, but play back fine on the computer.
I've read the various threads on similar issues but haven't found a good work around yet.
GSpot shows the codec as H.264/MPEG-4 AVC.
I have tried using FFMpeg to rewrap the files as mp4 as shown in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/854115 , but I just get an unsupported codec error when I import the mp4s.
I've found that installing k-lite codec pack lets the video play, but the playback goes jerky after a few seconds.
I copied the reports from GSpot and MediaInfo. I really want to find a way to get these working without doing full conversions of all the files each time, since this has damaged the quality in the past. If conversion is the only option, can anyone suggest exactly how to convert these files without losing any quality?
Many thanks to anyone who can help.

    EHogger,
As has been pointed out, the H.264 AVCHD CODEC, inside the AVI wrapper is non-standard, but some camera mfgrs. insist on doing that. The problem is that Premiere (either flavor) is not coded to look for H.264 inside an AVI. While AVI can contain a lot of different CODEC's, having H.264 inside is not what most programs expect.
Hope that Neale's suggetion works for you.
As far as editing ANY H.264 material, the main apect of a computer, that will come into play is the CPU. An underpowered computer will have issues playing it smoothly, as it takes a lot of CPU cycles to work with that material, under good circumstances. In the provided information, I did not see the specs. of your computer, but if the CPU is less than a very fast i5, playback performance may weill suffer.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Upgraded from PE9 to PE12: ratings did not transfer on organizer

Upgraded from PE9 to PE12 and the ratings and tags did not transfer to the organizer - or maybe they are there, but I do not know how find.
I also upgraded from Vista to Microsoft 7. Do I need to uninstall the Vista version and reinstall,  or is there a different solution?

    Topteke a écrit:
Upgraded from PE9 to PE12 and the ratings and tags did not transfer to the organizer -
When you installed PSE12 and opened the organizer, you should have been asked to convert your catalog. That would have created a new catalog with the contents of your old catalog; that old catalog being still available to PSE9. If, instead of letting the conversion automatically take place, you have simply imported your pictures into the new empty PSE12, the tags and captions are not recovered (unless you specifically 'wrote metadata to files' in the PSE9 organizer).
Now, use the menu file/catalog (Ctrl Maj C) and click on the  'convert' button. Check the option to show already converted catalogs. You should see your PSE9 catalog and start the conversion.

  • PE12 place tags wiythout using the map

Question 1. I upgraded from PE 8 where adding place tags was simple but with
this upgraded version I can no longer add place names without involving the
map and I do not want to do that.
All I want to do is to add Place tags as hitherto so as the creators of this
PE12 can anyone please tell me simply how to do what I want bearing in mind
that I am seventy seven years of age and not computer literate.
Question 2 By the way when I try to log into your site I add my email
    address and the reset password.
I get to the place where I am invited to add a question . I add the title
but then when I click ask the question I get taken back to the log in page.
Most frustrating and not the slightest improvement following upgrade that I
and I suspect more accomplished members want.
How do I resolve this second problem please?
    Thank you,
    Brian.

    Me too!
I opened a question today about tags and upgrades. I went from 10 to 12 so can't speak for 11, etc. Adobe 12 has new categories for tags--keywords, places, people, and events. On conversion from 10-12, they forced some of my keywords into the new categories.  BUT you can't drag and drop among the 4 groups, can't get back to how you were organized with just keywords. Only the keywords at the top behave like they used to.  (This may not be true...I think tags under, say, places can be dragged around in places, sort of.)
This is a serious insult to those who took organizer seriously and used it for thousands of photos over the years.  A lot of careful thought went into my organization. Looking around this forum today, many others seem to have complained but not gotten useful answers. I would not have converted if I knew what would happen.
There may be some ugly workarounds IF you do them  before you convert the catalog...you can prevent the auto. assignments if you use the right keywords. After the conversion, with work done on the new catalog, forget it. (As far as I can tell.)
    So, for you specific questions...
    1. You can ADD place names into keywords like you used to but you can't move tags from the new 'places' category to or from keywords. If your places got auto converted like mine, .... same boat.  I haven't used the map 'cause I'm still trying to avoid the new categories.
    2.....
I had the same problem logging in today. Login, try to ask a question, the input form appears and quickly disappears. Support chat could not help. Make sure you use the right login info...if wrong, they just bounce you out with no explanation. I finally got in, not sure how. Guess you did as well.
Perhaps others have a better answer

    Hi,
Before go out to buy a converter/transformer  (you need over 2KW for all 3 of them), please check the switches at the back, they may have switches to switch from 110V to 220V. I don't know your market, my suggestion: talk with an electrician who knows the real world much better.

11 again.     After discussing this with Adobe Technical in London they advised me to raise this issue with your Adjudicators in this Forum.
Please assist asap as this is very urgent right now for several genuine reasons.
    Many thanks.   Derek Horder.

  • Need to convert JApplet to JFrame

I need to write code for where I have 60 balls bouncing around inside a window. The client will then be able to select a button and it will pull out a ball with the number 1-60 written on it. The user will be able to do this up to 7 times. Each time it is done the past numbers that have already appeared can not reappear. What I am stuck on right now is geting my balls into a JFrame. Can anyone give advice or show how to. I currently have my 60 balls running in a JApplet. Here is the JAVA code and the HTML code. Thanks!

In the future, Swing related questions should be posted in the Swing forum.
First you need to convert your custom painting. This is done by overriding the paintComponent() method of JComponent or JPanel. Read the Swing tutorial on [Custom Painting|http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/TOC.html].
If you need further help then you need to create a [Short, Self Contained, Compilable and Executable, Example Program (SSCCE)|http://homepage1.nifty.com/algafield/sscce.html], that demonstrates the incorrect behaviour.
Don't forget to use the [Code Formatting Tags|http://forum.java.sun.com/help.jspa?sec=formatting], so the posted code retains its original formatting.

  • AiO Remote iOS - Google drive convert file automatically

    Hello Expert!
when i scan and upload on my google drive, google drive automatically convert the file in google docs format.
i already disabled the automatic convert in goole drive settings but same issue.
only aio remote - last version on app store installed - has this problem.
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks

    Hello,
I tried to duplicate the issue you're seeing and I can't. Here's what I did... used the AiO Remote app, took a pic of a handwritten note, saved as a PDF, and then shared to my Google Drive. The file type is still a PDF.
What type of files are you working with? Does the extension change happen on everything you send to Google Drive?

I need to convert PDF file to Word Document, so it can be edited. But the recognizing text options do not have the language that I need. How I can convert the file in the desired of me language?

The application Acrobat provides no language translation capability.
If you localize the language for OS, MS Office applications, Acrobat, etc to the desired language try again.
Alternative: transfer a copy of content into a web based translation service (Bing or Google provides a free service).
Transfer the output into a word processing program that is localized to the appropriate language.
    Do cleanup.
