Convert photoshop to PPT with editable text

I need to convert photoshop to PPT with editable text. Is it possible? How? Thanks

You don't convert, you create - in PowerPoint, using whatever graphics you designed in Photoshop and PP's native text tools.

Is it possible to convert indesign documents to PPT with editable text? Thanks

I just recreate the files in Powerpoint, far more effective in my opinion.
    I have Cs5.5 and Powerpoint 2003.
Package the CS5.5 file up to gather all the images to one location.
Extract/copy all the text to a word file or directly to the powerpoint stage.
You can then drage the images from the Links Folder directly into Powerpoint.
Powerpoint has a Crop Tool and you can resize images. The PPT presentation becomes a massive file, but you can go through each Format Picture options to resample and trim the cropped images.
I've been able to Place most image formats from .ai to eps, tif to psd to jpg, gif to PNG.
Powerpoint is very versatile in this regard.

  • Earliest Adobe Reader Version with Editable Text Field Functionality

    Hi all,
Can someone inform me of the earliest version of Adobe Reader with which you can edit a document with editable text fields? I've designed a form using LiveCycle and, prior to distributing it to customers, would like to determine the minimum spec for Reader.
    Thanks, JB

Editable fields came in with 3.0, but if you use LiveCycle Designer,
which is new technology, it's 7.0 or so.

  • Problems with editing text in iPhoto's Photo Book

Having clicked 'vertical direction' when editing text on the cover of my photo book, I can no longer edit text. The original text that was there is still there, horizontal, and I cannot get rid of it. Does anyone know how to reverse this?

Firstly check how the indents are done in Word. If You don't have Word to check it then Show Hidden Characters in InD and check it there– sometimes authors or editors of the text use different methods to indent text (tab characters, spaces or Word styles etc–there are many ways to do that). You can correct it all in InD. I've never seen anything get lost in .doc import but I always see when editor does unlogical things when writing. Indent must be always controlled by paragraph style. Maybe imported text paragraphs are using different imported styles? Check paragraphs in InD do they have indents in their style or not. Create Your own style with indent and mark Your paragraphs with Your style. Only way to control your text is through your styles.

  • Header and Footers don't delete with edit text tool!?

On certain pages I try to delete the header and footer and they won't delete with the edit text tool. I have to go and update the header and footer on certain pages and correct that way...there has to be an easier way, it worked on the adobe's in the past. I'm about to down grade to a older version of Adobe reader because of this!

You can downgrade to an older version of Adobe Reader but it won't help since Reader cannot edit PDF files.
What application are you actually using?

  • Frame rate goes crazy with editable text sprite

This one is annoying - I have a lot of things that depend on
    a steady,
predictable frame rate. But whenever you have the mouse
    button held down on
an editable text sprite, the frame rate goes through the
    roof. I don't know
what the numbers are exactly, but everything runs MUCH faster
    than it
should. This can result in some major timing mis-syncs for
    other events
happening on the stage. It looks like the OS is taking over
    or something
when you're selecting text on a text sprite. Is there any
    easy way around
this? Or should I just try and keep editable text sprites
    from being used
on the same frame as time-sensitive code? I'm thinking I
    could maybe get
around it by making the sprite non-editable and changing the
    text manually
based on keypresses, but that sounds like a lot of work to
    basically
reinvent the wheel here for something that should just work,
    you know?

    > Bad idea.
    >
    > The Tempo channel sets the Maximum frame rate, but it
    could be much less
    > and
    > throw things out of sync. Depends on what you are doing.
    >
    > You can use Timeout objects to do time-based animations
    and completely
    > forget
    > about what the frame rate is. This is a far more robust
    solution across

    >
    > Personally I have not used an "enterframe" or
    "exitframe" in over half a
    > decade other than a single obligatory "go the frame"
    behavior.
Well, what I do is something like:
    global timeBase
    on exitFrame
if the ticks - timeBase > 2 then
repeat while the ticks - timeBase > 2
    timeBase = timeBase + 2
    gameLoop()
    end repeat
    end if
    end
So, even if the movie is lagging behind, the gameLoop()
    executes at regular
intervals. If more than 2 ticks have passed between this
    frame and the
previous, it will execute the gameLoop() script multiple
    times in order to
catch up. All the important time-dependant stuff runs in
    gameLoop().
This is not what the problem is, however. Most of my
    animations on screen
are being shown as Film Loop sprites or in some cases
    animated GIFs, and
these are what depend on the steady frameRate. If you click
    on an editable
text object, the animations all suddenly speed up until you
    release the
mouse button. I guess it's really more of an aesthetic thing
    than anything
else, but it just looks really silly when everything suddenly
    runs
super-fast just because you clicked on a text sprite.

  • Rectangle with editable text

    Hi
I am working on drawing applet, in which as soon as the user clicks and drags rectangle in canvas a pop up comes asking for some input by user.If the user drags the rectangle somewhere that input area should also move with it.

I am working on map applet.
How can I use the concept of composite object for the same?
If there is any other way to do this please tell me.

  • Photoshop CS5 - Issues with 3D Text and Reppouse

Recently, I downloaded Photoshop CS5. Whenever I try to transform normal text into 3D with the Reppouse feature, I this error:
"Your 3D scene now exceeds the limits of lights and/or textures for the video card's hardware-accelerated 3D Rendering. As long as the limits are exceeding, 3D rendering will be done in software only, and some features (e.g. Reppouse) will be disabled."
If anyone has tips or advice on this problem, please fill me in because I will be gradly appreciate it. Thank you.

    1. Yes, many Laptops  that have onboard video chipsets are not good enough.
    2. Yes, your card does support some OpenGL and in this case this error reveals your card  does not support the 2 default Lights that are generated whn creating a Repousse mesh.
    3. Repousse requires OpenGL, other 3d functionality dos not require OpenGL

  • Where do I find the OCR tool for converting scanned documents to an editable text?

I purchased the "Adobe ExportPDF" tool and it says, that it can make scaned documents editable by OCR character recognition but I don't find out how and where I can find this.

  • Can't replace old text with new text in a text box

Hello everyone. This is my first time posting in the forum, so I'm hoping this works out well. We recently purchased a few copies of Adobe Acrobt X for the office, and one of the users is having an issue with editing text in a field. She can type new text into a box, but when she goes back to replace that text with something else, the old text stays. New text appears on top of the old text, and you can see both. Is there a way to simply highlight the old text, delete it, and then replace it with new text? Thanks in advanace for your assistance. I understand this might be confusing, so let me know if you have questions.
    Thanks,
    Dan

You have to use the text touchup tool (there is a new name like text edit tool in AA X) to edit such text. It sounds like you are using the typewriter tool or something like it. Text editing in Acrobat is not for the weak at heart. It can be very frustrating and is not recommended except for very minor changes. If at all possible, you should edit the original and just recreate the PDF.

  • After Effects Editable text: Feature refinement request

Not sure if anyone else out there uses this relatively recent feature in Premiere?
Within AE, in your comp settings, there is a new check box to allow unlocked text layers to be editable within Premiere.
This is a great feature that seems inspired by the identical feature set in Apple's deceased Final Cut Studio- allowing Motion Projects to have text edited and then rendered directly within FCP.
One of my clients has a facility that migrated to CC 2 years ago, and the introduction of this feature in CC came none to soon for us- as we had become quite dependent on it for our all our show's packaging graphics, lower thirds/ name keys etc.
Anyhow- enough backstory already! I love this feature, but the inability to change font size, kerning etc is nearly a deal breaker. Instead I've had to make 3x the templates in AE, with small, med, large font sizes- but this does not give line by line control.
I'm hopeful that the great team over at Adobe can buff up this feature to its full potential- maybe if the idea generates enough traffic it will happen sooner than later?
Here is a feature request I just submitted today. Please do the same if you'd like this functionality asap!
[Bellow are some screen grabs from Premiere, and of the disturbed tomb of FCP7-RIP]
    *******Enhancement / FMR*********
Brief title for your desired feature:
AE Editable text: refinements to this great feature.
How would you like the feature to work?
Give the user in premiere broader control of the text layout. Font size is the #1 issue, but Kerning, tracking would be great too.
Why is this feature important to you?
I work at a facility that has utilized Apple's hugely successful FCP studio round tripping of Motion templates for all "Name Keys/ lower 3rds" and other video packaging elements. Having happily switched to CC, we've begun using the existing feature, but have issues building robust templates that can accommodate larger variation of character count. In FCP, we had font size, and tracking controls of motion templates with editable text enabled.
Great work on this feature! I'm just hoping to get more usefulness out of it

    I know right?
I just built an extra 4 AE templates to try and mitigate this issue, but its not a graceful solution   6 templates to maintain and update instead of two [ the right and left justified versions].
    Also in the process I found a little UI bug that would be great to solve 'while you're up' :}
When you enter a string of text that is 'too long', the text box breaks, and is very difficult to use.
Where I work, we are rolling out new graphics packaging for our broadcast series, and I'm pushing to use the AE text editing function to up our game graphics wise- even though I get the sense its going to bite me in the a$$ at some point- probably during a deadline :/
I'd love to have font size and tracking controls ASAP, SVP .

  • Editing text in a picture

How do i edit a text in a picture without changing the font or colors?

    Hey there mike-tram!
Well if you don't want to change the font or colors in your image, you can change the size, and position of your text.
Here is a image I have with a layer of text. Right now I don't like the orientation or size of the text.
First I need to select the type layer. In your layers panel shown below, select the type layer.
Select the type tool in the toolbar show below.
By highlighting the text in my text layer with my type tool, I can change the size of my text.
In the top tool bar with the type tool selected, you can see a place to change the size, as shown below. I am going to change the size here from 150 to 72pts.
The size of the text shown below, is now a smaller size at 72pt.
To change the posistion of your text, select the move tool as shown below.
With the move tool, you click and drag where you want the text to be located. You can see below I moved it to the center of my image.
I hope that answers any questions you may have. Below I have included videos that show MORE options with editing text.
    enjoy,
    Janelle
