Converted all my pictures to smart pictures and I can't use them

Apple converted the jpg files smart files and apple can't open them. So I bought a program to convert them back and that does nothing. It may work great but is says nothing. The is an outlet file some where but it doesn't say. Thing only get worse, It is a nightmare. how can I get mu pictures back I want to use them for a project. Non destructive my butt. Just let me get my pictures back.

Adobe is not at fault. I couldn't get back here to answer the question so answered it is on this forum under another question. I had to find it on my own but then I got confirmation from my son in law. I told him the story and that I solved it by Googling nar. He was way ahead of me. When I Googled nar I found they are a Nikon file extension. Someone asked on a windows forum how to open them. It should only happens with a windows operating system. The answer is nar is the extension for Nikon zip files and all I had to do is change the extension from nar to zip and they opened no problem and became jpg (or maybe jpeg files.) They did change when I imported my jpg files into lightroom. But it was my smart phone that changed them. I have a Nokia lumia 520.phone it uses nikon zip files to save space. Most of my files came from my Canon camera but some came from my Nokia lumia 520. When I imported them with Light Room my smartphone changed all my jpgs into nar compressed files. Normally it only happens with a windows based computer and a Nikon camera. It is not supported to happen with a Mac but my phone is a windows phone and it may have been attached to my computer when I imported the files. In any case the phone was at fault. But I as my son in law said the pictures are a lot shaper now and they are all grouped together by date so I am much better off.

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

When an iPhone updates, it wipes the whole device clean and then reinstalls the software and then the backup. Obviously you didn't create/couldn't create a backup either via iCloud or iTunes. You can get your apps back when you go to App Store>Updates>Purchased and download the apps you want.

I have the following problem: I try to open Google, Youtube or some other pages and I can't use them. All I get is the "Connection has been reset" message. Help?

The only way I'm able to use Google and YouTube is by using HTTPS, but the thing is that by using HTTPS, I can only use SSL Google, which lacks Images and several other useful features.
As for YouTube, it's perfectly normal.
Wikis load like snails, and some don't even load at all. Not even with the HTTPS. Also, when I try to update Java, it tells me that my Internet Connection Settings are wrong. Not sure if that's the problem, though.
If it's any plugin I'm missing, I'll gladly install it (just don't trick me into viruses, please).
I've already cleaned my cookies (15 times, no kidding), checked the firewall, etc.
I haven't checked my Internet Settings because I don't want to screw things more than they already are. But I doubt that's the problem.
I checked for viruses, spyware, and the like, but my anti-virus software (ESET) detected nothing.
I've also went to the Network "Repair" in "My Computer" and restarted my PC twice.
I really need things back to normal, so any help would be really appreciated.

Events: what do they mean and how can I use them?

I'm new to this, so it's maybe a silly question. I can't understand what an event on iPhoto is and I don't know how to use it: for example I'm used to take photos with my mobile now and then so the pictures are not related to an event in particular like a birthday or a travel. They are just everyday pictures. So how can I manage them?
Again: I have some big folders of pictures related to some job experiences abroad. In that case the event is just "Germany job" for example? When I import the pictures iPhoto automatically create an event for each date of the folder, so it becomes boring to rename every single event.

Don't get hung up on the Word 'Event'. I have Evetss called Spring 08, Autumn-Winter 05 and so on. An Event is just a Folder of pictures. They can mean whatever you want them to mean. When you import from a camera iPhoto will break the pics into Folders of Days, called Events.

iPhoto -> Preferences -> Events: Uncheck the box at "Imported Items from the Finder"
Now iPhoto will not attempt to split the Folders of Images.

BAPI stands for Business API(Application Program Interface).
I have answered this question before..
A BAPI is remotely enabled function module ie it can be invoked from remote programs like standalone JAVA programs, web interface etc..
You can make your function module remotely enabled in attributes of Function module but
A BAPI are standard SAP function modules provided by SAP for remote access. Also they are part of Businees Objest Repository(BOR).
BAPI are RFC enabled function modules. the difference between RFc and BAPI are business objects. You create business objects and those are then registered in your BOR (Business Object Repository) which can be accessed outside the SAP system by using some other applications (Non-SAP) such as VB or JAVA. in this case u only specify the business object and its method from external system in BAPI there is no direct system call. while RFC are direct system call Some BAPIs provide basic functions and can be used for most SAP business object types. These BAPIs should be implemented the same for all business object types. Standardized BAPIs are easier to use and prevent users having to deal with a number of different BAPIs. Whenever possible, a standardized BAPI must be used in preference to an individual BAPI.
The following standardized BAPIs are provided:
Reading instances of SAP business objects
GetList ( ) With the BAPI GetList you can select a range of object key values, for example, company codes and material numbers.
The BAPI GetList() is a class method.
GetDetail() With the BAPI GetDetail() the details of an instance of a business object type are retrieved and returned to the calling program. The instance is identified via its key. The steps to be followed are :
1. Find out the relevant BAPI (BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE for VA02).
for VA01 use BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
2. Create a Z program and call the BAPi (same as a Funtion module call).

Bapi to VB(Visual Basic)
Long back I had used the following flow structure to acheive the same.
Report -> SM59 RFC destination -> COM4ABAP -> VB.exe
my report uses the rfc destination to create a COM session with com4abap. com4abap calls the vb.exe and manages the flow of data between sap and vb exe.
You need to have com4abap.exe
If com4abap is installed you will find it in sapgui installatin directory , C:\Program Files\SAPpc\sapgui\RFCSDK\com4abap.
else refer OSS note 419822 for installation of com4abap
after making the settings in com4abap to point to the vb program and setting up rfc destination in sm59 to point to com4abap session , you can use the following function modules to call the vb code.

ok Guys, now i know how to put youtube videos on ibooks, but is this legal, i mean are they copyrights for the videos.

I think you would need to contact video producer and get permission.
At the same time, my concern with publishing You Tube videos is what if the content of that video changes.
Build your own You Tube content and then there is no issues.
Usually with You Tube videos, the owner is usually just wanting to get their video viewed, so in some cases this is all the owner is wanted. But, still would need to contact owner to be sure.
Example Inappropriate material somehow shows up on that video link. The link is not under your control and you can't control if something happens to the link.

The My Photo Stream album does not appear when iCloud Photo Library is enabled. If this feature is enabled on your iPhone, it's storing your iPhone's photos in the cloud.

All my apps have been deleted and I can't install them back.

All my apps have been deleted when I turned my phone off and back on. However, my storage stayed the same as if I still had those apps. I am unable to re install my apps back. How do I get my apps back?

powering off your phone and back on won't make you lose apps or pictures.
