Converted from full memberrship to single app

Adobe sent me an e-mail and told me I could change my full membership in Creative Cloud to a single membership. I did so, but I assumed the sinle membership would activate as of November since my account was charged for a full CC membership on October 5th. Now I am being billed for a single membership IN ADDITION.
Why did they send me the e-mail telling me I could convert my account if that was not the case?

I didn't realize I needed to return here for a reply. I thought my earlier query about a billing error had been resolved. When I saw I was charged for a full subscription again it nearly overdrew my checking account. Tomorrow I will be charged for the single app on top of it!
Yes, I want to cancel the full subscription. As I indicated above, I was just charged again today for the full Creative Cloud subscription and I only want the single app subscription. The e-mail I was sent a month ago suggested I could make the switch easily.
However, I need to keep the version 6 of InDesign that I have been using. If it is upgraded the subscription to the latest version I will not be compatible with the program that is used in my office.
Can I keep the InDesign Version 6 program I have installed now and simply cancel the full subscription since I only need to use the one app?
Thank you for you help and I apologize for not understanding the protocol for communicating my problem.

    If you are facing any issues with the other apps already installed on your machine then you may uninstall otherwise just installing the new apps will work.

    As mentioned by you, you need to cancel the present CC & purchase the single app. The cancellation fee can be waived off for such instances.

  • Converting from Full-Size to 960x540 in imovie 09

    Hi There,
    I've been a professional photographer for a number of years & have recently started doing video projects. If someone could shed some light on this matter I would be greatly appreciated. I bought a Canon HFS100 which takes 1080HD video. I connect it to my Macbook Pro and open imovie 09. It brings up the box to import video, select the footage I wish to import & click "import". It then asks to either import as full-size or 960x540. When I opt for full-size, it advises that this could result in poorer quality. I imported one clip as full-size but when I played it back in imovie 09, the clip was not smooth but quite jerky and looked bad. But when I imported as 960x540 the clip was perfect. So my actual question is this: Why does imovie downsize the clip to a smaller size and does this effect the image quality when I export a project. Can I re-size the clip back to the original 1080HD? I'm kind of wondering what's the point in having a HD camera in the first place if it does this.

    I have an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256MB graphics card with 4GB RAM so is this considered slow? what would be the minimum for smooth playback of full size video. Is there much loss in quality when it's downsized? What other video editing software would you recommend. I'd like to burn projects to DVD with minimal loss in quality and know that exports to iDVD compress the video where you get considerable loss.

  • Delete and Re-install after upgrade from single app to full cloud suite?

    Hi,  I recenly upgraded to the full creative cloud membership from a single app subscription of Illustrator last month.
    I opened an illustrator file today from the single app installation and recieved a warning that I no longer have access to the program. Do I need to delete this version of illusrtrator and re-install from my new creative cloud suite membership?  Or is there a way to register the current downloaded version of Illustrator with my new full suite subscription?

    You don't need to uninstall illustrator from your computer.
    You can simply launch the program ---> it will give you a pop up that your subscription is expired or the trial is expired ---> in the same window there will be a button 'License this software' ---> click on 'License this software'
    ---> Sign in with your Adobe Id on whihc you have the full creative cloud subscription ---> your subscription will be activated.
    You can install rest of the products.

    Just converted account to CC. Was told I had to download DW6 , would lose DW5.5 with cancellation of the single app subscription.
    Did so- and it seems to be a standalone installation. Can I confidently uninstall 5.5 and move forward?

  • Converting Single App membership to Full -Staff question ?

    Hi …… I currently have two Annual single App Membership plans running: Photoshop - AD001472772UK and PremPro - AD001752956UK. I’ve been trialling other Apps available in CC and find I could now use at least 4 others. In the UK the full membership is approx £47 ppm. Six Apps equates to £7.8 ppm for each with access to all the others etc. The math works for me and I would like to increase my Single App membership to a Full Annual subscription.
    How do I go about this please without incurring any financial penalty? My Photoshop membership fee has already been paid this month, my PremPro membership is new and I don’t believe any payment has yet been requested.

    Beverley Hi, I've just spent 30 mins on a Chat session with Jacky, one of your Support people. A very productive use of time. She informs me that my two previous App single memberships have been cancelled and I now have full membership. She also confirmed that no cancellation charges have been raised for the remaining term on the singles.

    Be sure to select the MONTHLY subscription so you may stop the subscription at any time and not have to pay a penalty for cancelling a year's subscription

If I want to upgrade online than adobe gives the regular price of price € 737.85 per year , incl. VAT again? But is still 3 December!
    Tomorrow is December 4 , and the offer is then expired. Tomorrow I'll call Adobe to help me with this upgrade.  I also have a problem with MUSE. MUSE I had already downloaded and worked with it. Yesterday I did a clean install of my OSX system Mavericks to Yosemite. (all software must be reinstalled) Today tried reinstalling MUSE.
    A message came Error : 1 Please uninstall and reinstall the product. I just have nothing to uninstall because all my data and programs from my computer are deleted / erased, so MUSE doesn't live anymore on my computer. Yet MUSE indicates the first uninstal and reinstall the product .  Before I switched to Yosemite dit not uninstall MUSE , maybe that's the problem? Pleas assist me with this also.  I will call Adobe tomorrow 4 december in the morning als for this problem.

    As you were facing trouble while install Muse as well, please try the following things.
    Please run Creative Cloud cleaner: Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6.

    Hi,
    I'm a freelancer on a tight budget and, up until now have only had InDesign and Muse on a month-by-month plan as I did not regularly need Muse and it was more cost effective if I could only subscribe on the months needed. I have just got a new client who now works in the latest version of Illustrator and I need to upgrade to the full Creative Cloud Complete package.
    However, my subscriptions/payments for InDesign and Muse only went out yesterday and the day before. I have been told on the Adobe chat that there will be no refund or concessionary discount for the first month to prevent me having to pay out £45+ TWICE in one month. (As most freelancers will know, budgets are very tight lately!)
    Is there any way around this? I want to sign up for the Complete package in order to do the work for my client, but currently don't have enough in my account to pay the first month's subscription as payment for my single-app subscriptions have only just gone out.
    I would be grateful if someone from Adobe could look into this for me to see if anything can be done please?

  • Moving single apps from page to page in iTunes

    Can some kind soul please explain how to move apps when using iTunes (11.4.0.18)?
    When the pages of apps are displayed and wanting to move an app from one page to another clicking on the app and dragging it moves the full page to a different position rather than the single app to another page. In the old iTunes it was (and probably still is) just a matter of clicking on the app and dragging it to another page.
    Any help appreciated.

    I agree with everyone that this is now awkward, but if you double-click a screen page to make it bigger, you can click and drag the icon you want to move out of there to another page. Once you mouse over another page, that page will enlarge and allow you to drop it on there. If the page is not visible (as someone mentioned earlier), you can hold the clicked icon toward the bottom of the area with the screens - and not on a page - and it will scroll. Once you see the page you want, you can drop it on there.
    Obviously it was not intuitive to me or else I would not have stumbled upon this discussion! Thanks everyone for your advice and help!

    Keensy I have requested a member of our support team contact you directly via telephone.  Once I was able to review the correct account it appears our support team has tried multiple times to contact you.  I would recommend checking your SPAM filtering in case you need to receive additional messages from our support team.

    For future viewers of this discussion when contacting our support team at Contact Customer Care it is imperative that you be logged in under the account tied to your membership/subscription.  While there is cancelation options available you will have an increased chance of being offered an opportunity to contact our support team if your account entitlement can be verified.  For this to be done you will need to be signed into the same account as your membership/subscription/registered software title.
