Converting a PDF to PowerPoint?

Will Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard convert a PDF to PowerPoint?

I think inserting a pdf file into PowerPoint presentation as image is a lame solution. Bcz for that case, no modification and editing you can do to them. Of course, if you just need the entire content, it's just OK. But in most cases we will not need a whole page, maybe a paragraph or certain sentences, picture.  If we are able to edit them then reuse into the presentaion, it will help a lot.
So I agree to convert pdf into PowerPoint so that we are able to make seamlessly combination and reuse the editable content freely. A good pdf to PowerPoint Converter is needed.

  • Graphic graining after converting to pdf from Powerpoint 2007

I have a user, using Windows XP, Office 2007, Acrobat 8.1 Standard & Distiller 8. When she is in Powerpoint working on a slide her graphic looks fine. Once she hits Acrobat on her toolbar, then Create a PDF, it converts over to a pdf and her graphic looks grainy. Like some of the color is gone-not completely filled in like it was before in the lettering. Can someone please help with this, I've been researching for a while now and can't find a solution.

Sorry, all out of ideas. She may just have to live with it. The only think I can think of is a compatibility between the resolutions selected in the WORD doc and the storage to PDF. Generally PDFs do not change the resolution of a graphic unless you ask for the compression (that is part of the graphics management in the settings file with Std have a lot of compression). It may be that properly adjusting the resolution of the graphic in the PPT doc would change the issue. A lot of folks have a habit of just copying a graphic into PPT without changing the resolution to an appropriate dpi. You might try saving any graphics to a different format and insert in PPT again. Also, be aware that OFFICE 2007 does some conversions to imported images that may also be an issue (at least with DOCX and related files, not the DOC versions). I am not sure that might be an affect. You might going to a PPT 2003 compatible format and try the graphics again - I have gotten some differences (I have no clue why).
The only other thing that you might do would be to post the copies somewhere, both of a sample PPT or PPTX and a sample PDF. You may have to post a new topic since this one is so far back in the queue. I was just drifting back over old posts and noted your item. Bill

  • How do I convert a pdf to powerpoint?

The only choices that come up are to convert to Word.

    Hi,
When you select a file to convert.
There will be several options of format under 'Export Format' drop down box.

  • Acrobat XI Pro crashes Office 2007 Powerpoint when converting to pdf

I have a Dell laptop with Windows 7 x64 and Office 2007.  I also have Acrobat XI Pro.  When I convert a .ppt powerpoint file to .pdf, powerpoint stops working.
When I click Convert to pdf, Acrobat prepares the slides and then begins publishing and about 1/4 of the way through I get a message that powerpoint has stopped working.
I have run the Office Diagnostics and it found nothing.
I have reinstalled Acrobat and it didn't help
Is there a compatibility issue?  Would an older version of Acrobat Pro work such as Acrobat 9 or 10?
Is there an Acrobat Preference that I could change that would solve the problem?
    Thanks
    Tracy

    Hi Sara!
Yes this sounds interesting. Can I update to that from the PDF Export I have just renewed? How much would that cost?
    Thanks for your quick answer.

  • Can I convert a pdf to use in a powerpoint presentation

can I convert a pdf to use in a powerpoint presentation

..and now I can reply less cryptically:
Export to PowerPoint (PPTX) is available in Acrobat XI Pro.
The all-new Save As > Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation feature will not only convert an existing PDF file into an editable PPTX file, it will (try to) recognize elements and reconstruct Master Slides, re-convert Speaker Notes and convert things like tables into genuine PowerPoint tables. The feature works on both Windows and Mac.

I'm also looking for instructions on converting to Word doc.  When I click on the link contained in your response I get a message from Safari saying something like can't find local host.  When I directly type the url in your email

  • Convert pdf to powerpoint makes me sign up again ??

I have tried to convert to pdf as following instruction but even though I am signed in it asks me to sign up and wants more payment?? I have already used account to convert to word.

It sounds like you are using Reader, not Acrobat (the subject of this forum). When you connect to the cloud, you should have to sign in. It should not be another purchase, but should have a login feature. Since I do not use Reader with a service I can't say more, but you might check the forum for the appropriate service (Adobe ExportPDF (read only)).

  • How do i convert a pdf file to power point file

how do i convert a pdf file to power point file

    Hi ricardor,
You can use Adobe PDF Pack or Acrobat to convert a PDF file to PowerPoint format. PDF Pack is an online service, and converting there is a very straightforward process (see Getting Started with ExportPDF | Adobe Community, which applies to PDF Pack as well).
In Acrobat, you choose File > Save as Other > Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation to export the PDF file.
Please let us know if you have additional questions.
    Best,

Once you uploaded your file, you will get an option to choose 'MS PowerPoint document' under 'Convert to..' label.
Then, select 'Export to PowerPoint' button and the conversion be completed in a couple of minutes.
Then, you can download the converted file on your computer and even make the desired changes.
