Converting a template to A4 from US Letter

Hi,
I've just downloaded Pages from the new Mac App Store and have hit my first snag. I want to use a template, but on A4 paper. This mean a lot of laborious resizing, which defeats the purpose of templates (and is a bit of an slight to us in Europe where A4 is standard). My problem is that I can't get the background fill to adjust to A4 dimensions. Instead of resize handles, I get an X on the four corners. So, clearly this is driven by the size of the margins. I am unable to adjust the margin width in either the "Layout" or "Document" sections of the inspector. All fields are locked and cannot be edited. Any idea how I can stretch the background fill or adjust layout margins? (I'm using the first newsletter template.) Help would be much appreciated.

Lossing Rollevers Converting to Templates

This one's got me stumped.
I create an HTML page from Photoshop (then ImageReady, etc.)
and EVERYTHING works fine. I have my main menu on a rollover
behavior (white text on dark BG, that "glows" on mouse rollover).
When I "Save optimized as..." a HTML, everything is great.
However, once I convert the HTML to a DWT template file in
Dreamweaver, everything still looks great and works--everything
EXCEPT my glowing rollovers, which become non-existant in a
browser.
The strangest part of it to me is that when I dig into my
behaviors and code to see if somehow the rollover changes GIF
files, I see that it is IDENTICAL to my HTML that I converted from.
Let me explain:
" changeImages('t02_08', 'images/t02_08-over.gif') " is the
same in the HTML and the DWT, however it ONLY actually changes
(does the rollover action) in the HTML.
So then I thought it was something to do with the templates,
and it gets converted back over when you make a new HTML page from
the template. NOPE! My cool glow never makes it back onto the new
HTML pages... It gets lost somewhere, but I don't know where.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! This is the first time
I'm using templates and LOVE the idea, but I just can't get it to
work.

Hi,
The above error appears due to date format is differnt from SAP query generator and SQL server.
So you need convert all date in above query to SQL server required format.
Try to convert..let me know if not possible.

I would require few details in order to diagnose the issue correctly :-
1) Are you able to launch Acrobat XI pro ?
If yes, please try Help -> Repair option to repair Acrobat XI pro. Then try to perform the covert operation.
2) Let me know the Operating system installed on your computer.
3) Is there any error code or error message?

I have six playlists I select to sync to my iPod.
1 regular playlist with specific items I want to add then 5 smart playlist which select Recently added, Not played in last 6 months, etc.
It's not like you need to do the playlist all in one sitting.
Let iTunes create it's own playlist and sync to fill it up.
Then create your own playlist(s) when you have time.
In iTunes, go to menu View -> Show browser so you can easily sort though Genre, Artists and Albums.
Select the iPod in iTunes. Click the Music tab.
Tick *Sync music* and *Selected playlists*.
Tick the playlists you want on the iPod.
Then just add/delete from those playlists and plug in the iPod.
An easy way to manage what's goes onto the iPod...
Create a new smart playlist and *Match rule;*
Playlist is not iPod playlist (the name of the playlist you have chosen to sync).
This will show you songs in the library that are not on the iPod. Drag to the playlists you selected to sync to the iPod and it will be removed from this playlist.

we have enabled 'site use information' dff in customer address window, from this dff we are taking these 3 parameters.
reason to add these 3 parameters:
we cant treat all the customers same. so we need to send some smooth(no harsh) dunning letters to some of our most trusted customers. so how can we identify gud customers in the list.
so we have enabled site use information dff. those customers who is have values for these 3 parameters. will be treated as v good and reguler customers for us. so for them we can send other dunning letters.
note*: this is to identify the customers like reguler customers,non requler customers.
bez in spwaned program we have parameters like 1.customer low 2.customer high. thats it .so it is very difficult to find out the nature of customer.
pls advice me on this..to proceed further..

You can search the forums for that error message and find previous discussions - they all boil down to the same problem. Somewhere in your query that calls this function, the code invoked implicitly converts from string to date/datetime. In general,
this works in any version of sql server if the runtime settings are correct for the format of the string data. The fact that it works in one server and not in another server suggests that the query executes with different settings - and I'll assume for
the moment that the format of the data involved in this conversion is consistent within the database/resultset and consistent between the 2 servers.
I suggest you read Tibor's guide to the datetime datatype (via the link to his site below) first - then go find the actual code that performs this conversion. It may not be in the function you posted, since that function also executes other functions.
You also did not post the query that calls this function, so this function may not, in fact, be the source of the problem at all.

Word documents don't have a fixed page layout; Word reflows freely if it wants. This isn't normally a problem unless things like typing page numbers is done; avoid that.

You can copy & paste the address from the letter into a document formatted to envelope size. I prefer to use the EasyEnvelopes widget. If you have copied an address to the clipboard, it will automatically be added to the widget.

Do you actually need a PDF this way, or do you just need to print it out this way?
If you only need to print it this way, you can set up your Print setting to "2 Pages per Sheet" in the "Layout" section of your Print settings.
If you actually need a PDF this way, you would have to follow graffiti's suggestion and place the PDFs in an inDesign document. Or you would need a 3rd Party plug-in for Acrobat such as Pitstop to accomplish this.

They are certainly available from Apple.com but only if you have a US credit card and a US delivery address
I suspect you do not fit this requirement
You also have to be careful as the Apple Retail stores sell no contract iPhones these are NOT unlocked
However if you are able to purchase an unlocked iPhone4 8GB then it will certainly work with the Approved carriers in India

The D750 isn't yet supported. It may be a few weeks before Adobe provides an update for the latest versions of Photoshop/Elements. Maybe October/November.
They usually provide a pre-release version a few weeks beforehand (any day now, hopefully), but AFAIK they don't usually work on Photoshop Elements.
