Converting a VLC to Play in FCP 6

Question

Hi Folks
Can any help me on how I can convert a VideoLan Client file (.ts) into a format that will enable it to be edited in FCP 6, I have had no joy using the VLC transcode facility. So, I need some ideas.

Here's what I did.
Flash 6 a.k.a Flash MX (player 6), does not support FLV
files, hance you can't play
them in that version. FLV playback is from version 7 player.

Use flash to generate proper and complete object embed tags,
open in DW and
simply copy paste into your existing document.
