CONVERTING ARTBOARDS BACK TO OBJECTS

I am fairly new to cs4 - but I just created a documument with multiple artboards.... I know you may convert an object to an artboard - but is there a way in Illustrator CS4 to convert the multiple artboards into objects? Thanks.

Well, if you make a rectangle and then click it with the artboard
tool, you get an artboard with a rectangle. Why do you need to copy/
paste anything? If you dont want your rectangle accidentally getting
selected/moved, turn it into a guide. If you want it back (I do this a
lot with certain types of drawing) release the guide. Now if you want
to print a page that has multiple artboards/rectangles (assuming you
want the rectangles visible to, for instance, isolate aspects of the
drawing) add a stroke to the rectangles and make one big artboard that
includes everything you want on the print.
I can't see why you want to copy/paste anything.

This seems to be your specific network configuration. It seems that your corporate network is blocking HTTPS requests which don't use port 443. Your ABAP system is configured to use a port other than 443. Either talk to your basis admins about changing your ABAP system configuration to use port 443 or talk to your network administrators to allow whichever port the ABAP system is running on.

I didn't mess with the iTunes Media folder previously, so I don't think that was the cause. Anyway, I manually fixed most of the songs, but I still can't figure out how to fix the movies that became listed as songs.
Here is a screenshot of what it looks like when I click on "Get Info" for one of the movies (which has ended up in the music section on iTunes):
There is no option to change the media kind to "movie" or "video" even though it is a movie and it still plays as a movie if I press play.

Yes, with some caveats.
Pages and Word do some things differently, so no guarrantees for anything. Mostly it works fine.

Converting LAP back to autonomous failed

I've a 1130 AP which doesn't boot it's LWAPP image from flash. So I tried to convert it back (with tftp server and so on) but after the message that it's using the "reset IP" it tries again to start the (corrupt?) image.
Is there a way to stop this boot cycles and to check boot parameter? Or any other ideas?

Today, I have converted the Cisco LWAP (1140) to Autonomous AP successfully.
Follow the below steps:
1. Download your 1142 image from Cisco --- I chose c1140-k9w7-tar.124-21a.JY.tar (Autonomous IOS Image for LWAP 1142)
2. Copy your 1142 image to your TFTP folder and start your TFTP server
3. Hook up your console cable and open up PuTTY
4. Plug in your 1142 into your POE/non-PoE (use Power Chord) switch.
5. Create one DHCP Pool in 10.0.0.0/24 network and let the LWAP and Laptop takes the IP from that DHCP Pool.
6. When it boots and your DHCP server gives it an IP address, you'll get a prompt (*your AP needs to get to your TFTP server)
Use PuTTY and enter in the commands in bold and modify the address of your TFTP server and image accordingly.

It starts upgrading the new IOS to the LWAP. After installing the IOS, reboot twice the AP and you can normally see the prompt “ap>”

Convert DNG back to RAW?

I'm trying to re-master some photos at work. They're from an architectural photographer who uses a Canon 5D Mk.II, but when he shot the photos, I was using Photoshop CS3 (which was incompatible with the 5D Mk.II's CR2 RAW files)...so I had to convert them to DNG. Now that I have CS5, I'd like to be able to convert them back to the original CR2 format. Additionally, I would like this because Bridge and Photoshop/Camera Raw are having difficulty reading and processing a handful of the DNG files, and some of them have photos I need. Is it even possible to convert back to the original format? Thanks for your help!

XLSB file...how do I convert it back to XLSX?

I have a large Excel spreadsheet that has just somehow managed to turn itself into an XLSB file! I have no idea how it happened and can't seem to find a way to convert is back. I tried renaming the extension but it didn't work.
I am using Excel 2008 for Mac 12.3.2 and operating on Mac OS X v.10.7.3.
Can anyone help please?

adobe) and password and from there from file section you can download the converted document. Please let me know if you are using other than ExportPDF
service. Also i would like to know workflow you are using.

Converting Relational Tables to Object Views

We have extra information stored for each
field in a table. We call these Vertical
Tables:
rowid primary key - ties to normal tab
column_name "" - ties to column in ""
text_value the value if text
reliability rating for level of accuracy...

Yes there are normal tables that the applications also access if they just need the value of the columns.
So I want to take this to object views. This way, while oracle is learning how to alter objects, we can still maintain our data and old application while converting to the use of objects.
I thought the best solution would be Type(s) based on the orignal data type. A generic type, text65_t could be created to hold every column that is less than 65 characters long:
CREATE TYPE text65_t AS OBJECT
WITH OBJECT IDENTIFIER(row_id) AS
row_id VARCHAR2(30),
value VARCHAR2(65),
reliability NUMBER(1,0),
doe DATE
A view can easily be created of this. The
mapping is one to one.
My problem is the next level. How can I build another view on top of text65_t, integer_t, date_t... that ties all of the
vertical rows back into a normal relational table or object.

I'm using af:inputDate in my form.
in my backing bean i'm trying to get the value as Date object.

If I start with an embedded Smart Object (S.O)., can I easily convert in into a linked type of S.O.? I have not seen this feature available in the tooling yet. Please advise.

Since an embedded smart object is, well, embedded, there's no way to just convert. You'll have to point a link somewhere.
If you want to keep the smart object as is, open it and "Save As" to a new location, then link to that (Place Linked). Then delete the old.

love the new "linked smart object" functionality. However, I can not figure out how I can convert (or export) an existing embedded smart object to a linked smart object.
I have a huge photoshop file with several embedded smart objects that I would like to break down into a lightweigt photoshop with with links to the varios smart object photoshop files.
Is there any way to do this?

I am just now putting a document together with linked smart objects and I'm noticing that the file size of the PSD file still increases quite a bit. I thought the hole point of this was to have lightweigh psd files?
I currently have 11 1920x1080 linked smart object files in the PSD and the file size is already at 140MB. Any ideas why this is happening?
