Converting data to xml

Hello! I'm having trouble at exporting my java objects into a .xml file. My program is highly data base dependent and i have no idea of how can i express the tables relations. The model of the program is something like this:
A house has a person.
A person has a tool.
The house has furnitures.
And the furnitures have tools...
so... i have to declare the tools twice? u.u

Here the tool is reused in more than one place, so u can define tool as a type in your XML schema and reuse the type tool in both person and furniture definitions

Problem converting data in XML file to internal table data

Hi all,
I have a requirement. I need to convert an XML file to internal table data and based on that data do Goods Receipt in SAP.
With the help of this blog /people/r.eijpe/blog/2005/11/10/xml-dom-processing-in-abap-part-i--convert-an-abap-table-into-xml-file-using-sap-dom-approach
I am able to convert the XML file to data in SAP. But this blog will display the output on screen as ELELEMNT = nodename VALUE= value of that node.
But I donu2019t want in that way, I want to store all the data in XML file in an internal table so that I can make use of those values and do Goods Recipt in SAP.
Can some one suggest how should I read the data in an internal table.

Well that shows you how to extract data on the database as XML, but it doesn't show how to output it to a file.
I'll give a hint. If you have your data as an XMLTYPE you can convert it via CLOB to and XMLDOMDocument type (as in the DBMS_XMLDOM package). Once you have an XMLDOMDocument you can use one of the DBMS_XMLDOM procedures to write out the XML to a file...

JMS sender adapter not converting data to XML properly.

Hi,
I am using JMS adapter to read data from MQ. The length of each segment is fixed.
The problem is there is no new line character at the end of each segment .So JMS adapter is just reading the first line and not reading the rest.
What I found out that if I place a new line character at the end of each segment it works fine. But for me I have constraint that in MQ the source system cannot send a new line character at the end of each segment. So can any one tell me how can I solve this issue?
The sample data that I am getting from MQ is:
AA12345
BBXYZXY CC12300
CC456AS
We are using SP13.
The length of each segment is fixed.

fieldFixedLengths is used to divide the data among the elements of a segment.
For example if I have the segment structure like
AA1234567
BB12345
BBXYZ12
Then in the module processor we define
xml.recordsetStructure NameA,1,NameB,*
xml.NameA.fieldNames MyKey,field-nameA
xml.NameA.fieldFixedLengths 2,7
xml.NameA.fieldNames MyKey,field-nameB
xml.NameB.fieldFixedLengths 2,5
As per my understanding goes First it reads the first line till it finds a new line char and then it uses fieldFixedLength to assign data to the fields inside the segments. Here in the above example A1=AA and A2=1234567
But I am not aware if we can use fieldFixedLength to identify the segment it self. If so then how can I use it can u let me know?

Hi, i want to convert date/time format from xml in Designer, date/time value in xml is NOT in common format YYYY-MM-DD (if is in a common format i can do this with pattern)
I have a "DateTime" Field in Xdp can get from Xml date and time:
In XML <DateTime>DD-MM-YYYY</DateTime> i want to convert in XDP in DateTime Field in "DD-April-YYYY"

Bind the date field to your XML tag.
Set the display pattern for the date field.
In the initialize event of the date field place the following code.
Set JavaScript as language.

I have a requirement that i have to convert the internal table data into xml format and viceversa . for my requirement i came to know that i have to use Transformations concept. i done the converting the data from internal table into xml data by using standard Tranformations. My Question is
1) Can i use same Transformation to convert the xml data into abap internal table. if it is possible then how ???
2) Is it possible using the standard Transformation or I have to go for XSLT approach

How to convert Binary Data into XML ???

I am calling the getTaskInfo method of TaskManagerService class using Web Service API.
The result includes the formdata in two formats:
1. Binary content of the form
2. Remote URL of the form data
I have to find a value of a particular field using one of the above information.
I am unable to convert the binary data to XML directly. I have also tried fetch the document based on remoteURL parameter which is also not working.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

MXML is already an well formed XML document.(look at mxml
files first line it says : <?xml version="1.0"
encoding="utf-8"?> ) you cant convert from xml to xml(or to be
more correct why do you need to convert from XMl to XML?), if you
want to transform it use XSLT, but thats totally different story,
what you are showing here is Action script to XMl convertor,
and from this code its not obvious to see what is the problem since
you are showing general util methods nothing concrete,
