Converting Groups Of Invoices To PDF

Hello,
We would like to be able to select all invoices generated by one of our sales employees and convert them all to PDF. We do not want to do this one at a time. Is there any way to do this as a group? We would like to be able to e-mail our sales reps all the invoices that they have generated for a given period.

Hi Mike,
In order to do this, you could create a specific document numbering series for the user you would like print the PDF's for. Do not allow other users to add invoices to this series (unless you want them to also be printed as PDF's).
Then in Document Printing, select the Document Type and change the Series to the one designated for PDF printing. If you have already printed the document, you'll have to uncheck the "Only Documents Still to Be Printed" box as well as the one for "Open Only" if you're printing closed documents. You may change the date range and/or internal number if need be. Press OK.
Highlight the rows of the invoices you would like to print to a PDF and select Print. Select your PDF writer. This will print the invoices as a batch.
However, keep in mind that this will only create one PDF document. Each invoice will not be a separate file. If you need separate files for each document, you will need to print each invoice separately.

Hello,
I have a requirement where I have to send Proforma Invoice as PDF in email.
Now, the Proforma Invoice is already using output type to Print and when I see the routines in Tcode NACE
It uses RVADAUS1 Program where it calls RV_EXPORT_DOCUMENT_PRINT function module to generate the Print document.
This works fine.
So, I created a new output type, copied the RVADAUS1 to ZRVADAUS1 and modified the code where I am capturing the Spool generated through the original code and pass it to CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF to convert it to PDF and then send it as an email.
Now, the problem I am facing is that, I am not able to generate a Spool when I am using the medium ( '5' External Send ). So the further code of capturing Spool and convert to PDF and send as email fails.
Any guidance is appreciated.

Just before calling the function module RV_EXPORT_DOCUMENT_PRINT.
I forced TNAPR-NACHA = '1'. and NAST-NACHA = '1'.
which means I forced Transmission medium as 1(Print) instead of 5(External Send)
This created a SPOOL.

Converting many numbers files to PDFs?

Hi everyone!
I would like to convert many Numbers files to PDF documents. Every Numbers document should be a new PDF with the same name!
I even tried to write a workflow file with Automator, but I dont get the "create a PDF"-part running.
Furthermore I googled for 2 hours, but all scripts I found do not work with the latest Numbers version...
Please help me... Maybe one of you have a Apple Script or a solution using Automator?

SAP Digital signature solution in Invoice output PDF document

Hi,
We are trying to POC SAP Digital signature solution for Invoice output pdf document based on the OSS note 700495 implemengtation guide.
- Defining the log structure and database table.
- Defining signature single step and authorization group and assignment.
- Completed the configuration steps including system signature with authorization by SAP user id and password.
- Release strategy and Archiving NOT implemented for this solution as they are not required as of now.
Checked the above settings using DSIG_BOOKING_EX sample program and the same executed successfully without any errors and we can see the result 'Signature process was successfully completed by user XXXXXX'. Also we can view the signature log in DSAL Transaction.
Similar to the sample program code, Implemented the signature call in user exit ZXMCVU05(EXIT_SAPLMCS6_001) for Invoice output digital signature during VF01 create transaction.
In the process signature call processed successfully but the output PDF document does not have any signature.
Please let me know why digital signature NOT applied to invoice output pdf file. Is there any other process that need to be done?
Also if you have implemented any similar solution, please provide me the details on the same.

Are the User Name and Password correct? Is the User assigned to the SAP_XMII_User role in Netweaver? On the iCommand's Security screen, is the SAP_XMII_User assigned as a Reader role?
Have you checked the Netweaver log? There may be more detailed information there.

Email Invoice as PDF

Hi folks,
I'm trying to send a sapscript/smartform invoice as a PDF attached to an email. I've been reading a number of posting on this topic but it is still unclear to me how to get this to work. (R/3 4.7)
I need to setup a new output type with transmission media 5. Is that correct? The email address will be pulled from the customer's master data record. Correct?
What do I use as the processing routine? Do I have to create a custom routine?
Do I need to define a communications strategy with communication type INT?
As I understand it, the system will automatically convert to PDF as long as SCOT is configured that way (default).
What else am I missing?

1.No need to create the custom routine.
2.The system default cann't generate the PDF.It generates OTF , Format.
3.We need to convert the OTF into PDF.
4.You have to maintain the Email in SCOT.

While saving a file, I have converted all my files to Pdf. The only way to restore previous is to delete Adobe. Does anyone have a soution?

While saving a file, I have converted all my files to Pdf. This made everything inaccessible, even Explorer. I had to delete Adobe to get back to some of the previous files. I tried to restore system to previous, but I kept getting a pop up message that said I did not have enough shadow space. Does anyone have a solution? Greatly appreciate your help.

In this I am using the FM 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'. I have checked the settings from SPAD that is also same in both servers for particular output device. But the patches are diffrennt in both the servers, the server from which layout is not coming properly having the high level patches in compare to the other server(which is working fine).

I recently started using an iPad. I up loaded several apps. Evernote, cloudon, Goodreader, Drop Box and lots of others. It crashes when I down load pictures and then try to use them. Converting a jpg to a pdf usually triggers a crash. Help

It crashes when I down load pictures and then try to use them. Converting a jpg to a pdf usually triggers a crash.
Are you using the "Print to PDF" dialogue to convert your jpegs to pdf?
In addition to OT's test, you might also check, if using a different "Theme" for printing will avoid the crash:

You crashlog shows, that iPhoto crashes, when trying to draw the "Print" theme background. There could be a problem wit the installed themes. Can you convert any jpegs to pdf, not only the jpegs downloaded from your iPad?

There is no "system solution" that turns an e-mail into a PDF file. In other words, it's not a functionality of the iOS. And there are some apps around that say they turn some documents into PDF files, but in every app that does that, I've never seen one that does so for the entire e-mail itself, but only for the "text" of the e-mail (which won't include the "to" and "from").
BUT, you can get part of the e-mail through a screen shot and you can get more of the e-mail by going "portrait" style and not "landscape". Then after getting the screen shot, you can turn that into a PDF file by those apps I was referring to up above,

Please ensure that you are using Adobe Acrobat and not Reader to convert PDF file to word or excel.
Could you tell me whether it is a scanned document? Does this happen with all PDFs or any specific one?
Do you get any error message? What exactly happens when you try doing the same?

Your Publisher version must be compatible with your installed Acrobat's PDFMaker.

Thanks for replying. I am converting from MS Office Word document to Adobe Acrobat Document and opening with Reader XI - sorry my mistake.
I now notice another problem. On trying to open a specific hyperlink in the pdf version I get the message 'Acrobat does not allow connection to: www.biblegateway.com'. Why would there be a restriction?
