  • AcrobatX1 Trial How to Convert part of PDF to Excel

I was trying to convert part of a PDF to Excel sheet so I downloaded Acrobat x1,but found out to my wasted time that the trial version will not do so! I contacted Microsoft support & spoke to a lady and she tried to help but assured me that it will not do this.
Today I get an advertisement from Adobe's Project Manager showing me just how to convert to Excel!,yet when I try again the trial version still will not convert part of my PDF to Excel!
Has anyone got any advise how I can convert part of this PDF to Excel?
    Thanks for your help

If you only want to convert certain pages, use Extract Pages to make a new document containing only the pages you want. Then Save As Excel. Don't expect miracles, Acrobat has to use guesswork to estimate where your grid is.

  • Convert part of pdf document to word

I need to convert part of a document to word not the whole document as is way to big and  i do neot need the other parts. can I do that and how?

    Hi Pistonvandrom,
Unfortunately, it is not possible to convert a part of document via Adobe ExportPDF, it is only possible if you use the complete PDF solution Adobe Acrobat.

  • Export PDF converts ONLY PART of PDF to excel - first table skipped, second table OK

A single PDF contains two tables (income and expense) but Export PDF converts ONLY the second table and completely ignores the first table.  (The two tables may actually be parts of one larger table, but in that case it is the first part which is ignored.)

    Hi dgoldh,
Do you know how the PDF was created? (Choose File > Properties, and check the Description tab. It may be that the PDF was created by a third-party application and doesn't contain the proper data to ensure a clean conversion. • Converting list in pdf to Excel using Adobe ExportPDF

I have a document in .pdf format that is a list including columns with Town, Name, Address and Phone number, listed on the page in two columns, divided in the center. When I convert the document to Excel format, the first column returns gobblety ****, but the second column formats brilliantly. Is there anyway to modify the scan settings so that it will properly input the data when scanned? I need to do this with 158 pages of data, and returning half as an unusable format isn't working well for me. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

  • Can this product convert a sideways PDF to Excel?

    Any ideas>?

    Good day,
Sorry to hear you're having trouble converting your document.  Do you think you could share your document with us via the File Conversion Issue form?  Without seeing the file, it's tough to say why it's not converting properly.  Please include a reference to this forum thread in your description.

  • Converting scanned PDF to Excel

I have tried to convert a scanned PDF to Excel but find the columns and rows are all jumbled and do not reflect the original document.
I am using a Mac with MS Office 2011
    Any help appreciated.

    Hi Keith,
I apologize for the trouble. I'd like to assist!
Was the original document excel prior to becoming a PDF? Unfortunately scans can be a challenge due to the converting not having actual 'text' to grasp onto.
If you would like you can send your PDF to me: [email protected] and I can take a look for you?
    Kind regards, Stacy

  • How long does it normally take to convert from PDF to Excel files?

How long does it normally take to convert from a PDF to Excel files?

    Sara-
I did see your response.  Thanks.  The other thing that happened was after I enabled Adobe on my Dell it apparently knocked out my Mozilla.  Now I can't get internet connection unless I use Internet Explorer which I would prefer not to.  I'm going to visit our IT folks tomorrow and see if I can get some of this resolved.
The PDF files I obtained that I am trying to transfer to Excel may be too complex because there is a great deal of extraneous text information in the basic document that lies outside of the tables I want to transfer.  I'm going to try and highlight the tables only and see if this works.
Thanks for taking the time answering.

    Henry

  • Cinversione pdf  a  excel

    Gracias

  • Report Generate to File PDF, HTML,Excel and Others Format

    Dear Experts,
I am using Oracle 9i and Developer 6i. How I convert report in PDF, HTML, Excel and others format after generating the report. When i try to generate, then giving the following error message:
    REP-0999: Unimplemented Error.
How can I solve it, Please help me.

Do the column headings display ok but the data does not?
If so it may be related to the font size. i.e. the whole report may not fit on the page when scaled for pdf output.

    http://www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html

  • In PDF to Excel conversion dates like 03/12/15 convert to Dec 3rd 2015 not the correct date of Mar 12th 2015 whereas date 03/13/2015 converts correctly as March 13th 2015

In PDF to Excel conversion dates like 03/12/15 convert to Dec 3rd 2015 not the correct date of Mar 12th 2015 whereas date 03/13/2015 converts correctly as March 13th 2015

    Hi DirTech,
Are both of these dates in the same Excel file? If they're in different files, are you choosing the same language for OCR (optical character recognition)?
If they are in the same PDF file, how was that PDF file created? Was it created from a third-party application (rather than an Adobe application)? If it was created by a third-party application, it could be that it wasn't written to spec, and that's why you're seeing some oddities in the PDF > Excel conversion.  (See Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community.)

  • How do I convert an excel file to a pdf, NOT a pdf to excel

Until this year, I've been running OSX 10.5 Leopard. When I wanted to convert a Microsoft for Mac Excel worksheet to a pdf file, I simply clicked File/Print/PDF (in the lower left corner of the dialogue box)/then, Save as pdf. No problem, perfect pdf file. Upon upgrading to Mavericks this year, the resulting pdf file is filled with a checkerboard pattern that effectively renders the file useless if read onscreen. How can I get rid of the checkerboard?
