Converting PDF to Jpg file

hi
i am looking for an pure java api wich will convert pdf file into jpg.

If it is going to State Legislators I would highly suggest doing the PDF in a DVD-ROM folder. (I am sort of assuming these are pages of material, and not a bullet point type list.) It also lets them print things out and read them.
That being said, I find Motion does a nice job of making text. Export as self contained in a codec like Pro Res, then bring it into Compressor. Often CBR will give good results on text. even if you go that route, the PDfs in files may not be a bad idea....

I use Outlook for my email on the Safari web browser, and about 90% of the time when I want to attach a pdf or jpg file it fails and about 50% of the time when I want to send a standard text massage it will also fail and the email massage crashes. The only way I can get my Outlook to work is if I switch to Firefox web browser. I would rather not switch to a new web browser if I don't have to.
It seems like what ever the problem is that its related the Safari web browser, because it works fine on the Firefox web browser.
I think its some kind of plug-in failure because it giving me a LOC ERROR:
LOC ERROR: Unable to locate localized string for resource ID 5007.
How can I fix this Plug-in?
And, yes my softwer is conpletly updated…

That's an Outlook issue. You'll probably get better responses posting on the Office for Mac forums.

why can I not convert pdf into word file?

This is not a feature of Adobe Reader. You'll need either Acrobat or a subscription to one of the web-based services that Adobe offers (like PDF Pack) to do it.

Since I have connected my iPad with the MacBook through ICloud I have problems in Preview of opening PDF- and JPG-files. Does anyone have a solution for this?

I'm not sure I understand the connection between iCloud and this problem.  Is it simply a problem of coincidental timing (ie, the problem happened after you set up iCloud)?  If so, there's almost certainly no connection between these two events.
Where are you getting the files you're trying to open, and what specifically happens when you try to open them?

  • Want to scan to text file on hp oj8600, software indicates only pdf or jpg file creation

want to scan to text file on hp oj8600, software indicates can do. However printer system software only allows pdf or jpg file type creation.

    Hello @Richf95,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are trying to save scans as a text file.
    I would like to help.
PDF has become the standard file type used when scanning/saving a document.
Most printers will not have text as a default option.
    Try the following:
    Open the HP scan utility
In the lower left hand corner select 'Create New Shortcut...'
Name your new short cut. I went with Text.
In the next window select the file tab.
In the drop down menu, select Text.
This should create a shortcut that will allow you to save scans as a .txt file.

  • Creating PDF from JPG files

I scan several pages from a book and wish to compile a PDF file from the scanned JPG files. What I want is the PDF file to be as small as possible, using relatively good JPG files (they are on the order of 300k), so that the fonts don't look too blurry when magnifying the image in Acrobat. My PDF file gets to be very big when creating a file composed of around 100 scanned pages. How can I make the file smaller?
I can't use optical character recognition to convert the text of the page. Much of the text contains mathematical symbols and figures, but is generally just black-and-white.
I feel the large file size of the resultant PDF file is due to all the "white space" of the JPG file. Is there some way to have Acrobat "ignore" the white when creating the PDF file, and then just display the information part of the JPG file on a white background?
Remember, I'm creating a PDF file from scanned textbook pages, not photographs. I would think that there is an optimum way to do this, keeping good resolution of the text (the "black" or non-white information), and minimizing the file size of the resultant PDF file.
    Any thoughts?
I have Acrobat 8, Photshop Elements 6, and Windows Vista Ultimate.
    Thanks

For starters, you should be sure and scan them as grayscale. Then the "white space" won't be an issue.
Basically the answer is going to be in your initial scan. You need to optimize the files as best you can there first then create the PDF.

  • How to batch convert pdf to jpgs, crop to trim and save?

I'm trying to figure out how to take a couple of hundred PDFs, Crop them to trim, then convert them all to JPGs using any of the adobe programs.
In bridge I was able to Batch convert all the PDFs to JPGs but it wouldn't crop them to the trim also...
I thought I could use the Photoshop Image Processor to batch action crop and save them again but I always get one of two errors... "There were no source files that could be opened by Photoshop." or "Please Specify a destination folder."
I don't know why this is coming up since I have it selecting the folders with the JPGs that I converted in Bridge and saving to another folder..
Does anyone know if I can do all of this at once? Or how I can somehow get this to work so that II don't have to open, crop and save for each individual file?

Corel's WP has not / does not use anything of Adobe's to create PDFs.
With Acrobat installed you can "file - print" WP files to the Adobe PDF virtual printer that is installed with Acrobat.
Perhaps an OS based "batch" printer job would be possible. Something for you to look into.
As well, if you have WP installed there may be something WP can do.
To learn of such you'd want to visit Corel's WP customer support.
    Be well...

  • How do i convert pdf to jpg in automator?

How do I convert a pdf to jpg in Automator?

Automator has a "Render PDF Pages to Images" action.
There's a wizard that pops up when you run Automator asking you to choose a template. The second template is "Application":
Applications are self-running workflows. Any files or folders dropped onto an Application will be used as input to the workflow.
    So:
    Open Automator
    Choose "Application"
Drag the "Render PDF Pages to Images" action onto the workflow
This action produces random filenames, so follow it with "Rename Finder Items" (choose "Make sequential" from the dropdown list
Then add a "Move Finder Items" to have the output files moved to the Desktop
    Save your new application somewhere
    Drag files onto it

  • What do I have to do to convert PDF to Word files?

I just bought and installed Adobe Acrobat XI Pro thinking I would
be able to now convert PDF files to Word files - but no -
when I click on the icon to do this - it wants me to spend
more $$ for this feature - is this correct?

[ your email signature has been removed for security reasons ]
If you have bought Adobe Acrobat then you will have the Save As Other > Microsoft Word menu item, and there's no charge to use it.
If you are still opening your files in Adobe Reader, then it will be trying to sell you a subscription to the ExportPDF online service. You don't need that if you have Acrobat installed.

  • Converting PDF to JPG using Acrobat XI Standard

I know I can convert a PDF into a JPG using Acrobat Pro but I'm wondering if I can do the same using Acrobat XI Standard.  The only thing I've read online is that Standard can convert PDFs into Excel, Word or Power Point docs.

Yes, you can do this with Acrobat XI Standard. The only export feature that is not available in Std. is the ability to convert to PowerPoint.
