  • Student self services - configuration guide or cook book

    Dear All,
We have recently upgraded to EHP4 and enabled student self services.
But when I changed my program of study no workflow is triggered in the backend.
Do I need to do any configuration for this ?
Is there any configuration guide or cook book available for student self services.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Best Regards,
    Aleem Mohiuddin.

    Hi Aleem,
You can find cookbooks for configuring SLcM on the following page: Student Lifecycle Management [original link is broken]
For the 'Change of Program' functionality you need to configure the following workflow to your customer need: COP_APPROVAL (WS template: 29800011 via trx PFWS).
Please also make sure you have applied note 1321998.
    Best regards,

HIi Siddharth, thx for confirming, this was my guess.
It also appears that much of the new ECM analytics integrated with BW in EP5 is being moved under the TMS 1.51 (Talent Management Specialist) Application.
If they are moving ECM reports there, I don't understand why you would not just incorporate all the BSP links / folder structures so that  'BP Compensation Specialist 60.2' could be officially retired.

    Thanks Brian for your inputs,
I think we should go ahead with atleast deploying the BP and show it to the client to make a decision.
Brian one final questions, I am sure but can you confirm that this can talk to ECC. 6.0 with EP 7.0 .....NW2004s lets say SP11.
the BP documentation says it can be used from NW2004 or NW2004s SP4 or 5 something like that. But since this BP has been avialable even before 2004s was released hence my doubt.

  • Cook book on cic winclient 5.0

    Hi,
Can any body send me a cook book on CIC winclient 5.0 to [email protected]
    Thanks in advance,
    Ramakrishna.R

    Hello Mohit,
Yes, as I mentioned above in my first response, these two default actions will route the customer's response email to whichever agent is currently assigned to the ticket or case (where the ticket or case tracking ID was inserted by the agent or system into a reply email that was sent in response to a customer's original email). In addition the customer's response email will be linked/threaded to the existing email thread of all emails linked to the ticket or case. But if you really want the email to be routed to the agent who first responded to the initial customer email (rather than to the agent who currently owns the case to which all the emails are linked) then you would need to copy the standard action and modify it. However, my recommendation would be to modify your business processes to take advantage of the SAP recommneded best practice and default action -- unless you really have a unique business process where it makes sense to send the customer's email back to whoeve first responded rather than to whoever is working on the issue now.
    Best regards,
    John

  • Application servers configuration: SAP Cook book

    Hi,
As per the Cook book for the Business Suite on HANA migration, there is no changes required on the application servers .
Its only that we will have a change in database i.e., instead of db2 , oracle we will have HANA database.
    But a few queries :
    1. If there is no change in configuration required for App. servers,  How does the Application servers connect to HANA DB
    2. Normally to increase the work process with traditional databases like db2, we need to add the memory and additional CPU in DB host server.
How does one can manage the increase in dialog work process here in HANA i.e., the memory still needs to be increased or it is handled in a different way?
    Please clarify.
