Cookie problem with this forum?

Today I am no longer able to connect with this forum with my Safari browser. All I receive in a page with the 6 categories and nothing else. Also, I am not able to log in. However, I can log in using Foxfire with all the topics correctly displayed. I suspect it must be a cookie problem and if that is so, I'm not sure where to go in Safari to delete cookies.

Same problem is back after only one day. When using Safari (latest version), if I click on the following link...

All I see is the Category headings (no latest posts) and I'm NOT automatically signed in. When I attempt to sign in, I then go the the "new user" data page. After signing in, I get very restrictive access to the forum.
When I sign in with Firefox, everything is normal. Yesterday when I had this problem, I erases the cookies from Safari and everything returned to normal. I hate to have to erase my cookies everyday to get access here as I prefer to use Safari.
Is this happening to anyone else?

For Forum Admin: Problem with this forum editor

The editor has been adding spaces in words for a while. Is there a way to correct so that our code appears properly?

Yeah, I've been struggling with this new forum, too. I've been using NNTP for so many years that I can do it in my sleep. Web Forums will *always* be slower than NNTP. It's just a fact of the implementation.
But, I am slowly coming around. Here are some things that I have learned:
Start by going to Your stuff > profile > Preferences. Change the View to "Threaded" so you can easily see what the poster was replying to if they didn't quote anything. Make sure your Time Zone is correct (mine wasn't). Subscribe to email for threads you create and respond to. You can also subscribe to email for any thread by clicking on "Receive email notifications" on the right side when reading a post. I still do all of my reading via the Web Forum interface, but receiving email notifications is enough of a time saver for me that it makes up for the slowness of the Web Forum.
I tried to get my picture to show up by adding a picture to my profile, but I discovered that you have to create an avatar.
I haven't figured out how to search these forums with google, but the builtin search works much better than anything I have ever used in any NNTP news reader.
The only implementation problem that I have found to far is that the "Next" button has stopped working a few times. Closing the browser and starting with a new window seems to fix that.

Problems with this Forum

Just an FYI to the techs who run this custom forum software - be aware of the following bug. Here is how to reproduce it:
1) IE 7 latest
2) Come to the forums. Navigate yourself to the iPhone forum before logging in.
3) Click to log in. System reroutes you back to forum home page.
4) On right sidebar you will see "Logout", as you should, since you are logged in.
5) Click on the iPhone link to go into that subforum again.
6) Note on the right sidebar it now says "Log in". And there is no option to "Post a new topic".
7) Go back to forum main page and note that you are in fact still logged in.
8) Click on the iPhone link to go into that subforum again.
9) Note it still says "Log in".
This has happened countless times. Its caching the forum and not updating it after you log in, so even after being logged in, you cant post new topics. I had to navigate to several other forums then get back to the iPhone forum through other linking methods for it to "realize" that it needed to reload the iphone forums, and recognize me as logged in.
Hope this helps the techs out there.

If you are in the iPhone category (and not one of the actual forums), There is no option to "Post a new topic" because you are not in a forum.
It is kinda flaky though that it does show you are not logged in. Refresh the browset page (press Shift and press F5 or click teh refresh button) and it will show you as logged in.

I have downloaded EMET 4.1 but it will not install -

I have seen the same problem answered in the support section with a script posted as follows, and wondered if it would solve my problem - only there is no explanation with it and I have no idea what to do with it! Forgive my ignorance but could someone

Managed to get the installation sorted. Go to Control Panel, and where you have a list of all installed programs, repair all the Apple/Itunes related programs. Installation worked fine after that. Hopefully it helps you out too!

Unexpected problem with this printable

Started by trying to stop the printing of the "Samples" printable that was acquired accidentally. Tried directions found in the forums to no avail. Tried through the HP Go manageprint route and never saw the minus sign in the printable header as described. Trying on the control panel of the printer, I get to the "Select activity" option and select the "Schedule it" icon. Loading....then error message: "There was an unexpected problem with this printable. Please try again later." I also had problems previously connecting to web services when I tried to scan a document to my email address (which I have done many time previously successfully). Performed wireless network test and all results were good. Something is screwed up. Any assistance is appreciated.

I suspect the whole setup is "not quite right" and that is not your fault -- it is a multi-step process and if it does go well the first time around, it can seem like the size 14 is a solution to fit the need. I do not have an answer - know that. The print App is stuck, no doubt about that. I will try and help you straighten out the setup; understand I am not a Printer Expert. Not. This may make it worse. You might want to call Cloud Services if you can do so... SideBar:At the least, the Snapfish bits may be just one more worm in the bucket of troubles - at this point, you might as well Click Reset Snapfish -- frankly, while used to understand what Snapfish is and why it might be on the printer panel, I have never heard of Snapfish Country. Final note about Snapfish -- if you ever get into some sort of evil loop about logging into (creating) your HP Connected Account and it is offing something about Snapfish account -- saying you have to have the Snapfish account or you can just die and never be able to log into your HP Connected Account: Give the program what it wants --- it is a bug. Create the Snapfish account and you will be able to get in. I did not write the program. I did not create the bug. I may have done some stupid things when I wrote code in my life -- this one is not mine. Smiling. You can "reset" at least the "web services" by simply disabling Web Services on the printer front panel. This is perhaps a good plan all things considered; you might read first and then decide. The one thing I have noted is that I have never had had any luck resetting, redoing, or entering much of anything from a printer panel. I lack the patience to type on tiny panels. I do know the Printable / Print App has to be "scheduled", that is, active before it can be cancelled. So, if it is in some sort of zombie state of half-life, you may want log in to your HP Connected account and make sure the Print App is "active" -- then try to kill it. Also -- see the note below about the Safari browser -- there may be other browsers (Chrome??) that do not handle the HP Connected account management page setup. There are several parts to the whole "ePrint" business. The following might be useful to help you make sure you have your setup in place.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Reference:Add Device to Printer See Section:Computer gets Full Feature Software (Printer Software)If you are printing from a mobile device on the same (home) network, then you probably have a home computer in the mix (on that same network). Can be a problem that get multiplied and visible when iDVD encode for DVD.
A. See if problem can be isolated to a single frame in the movie and re-import this clip and see if it's better
B. When free space on Start-Up hard disk goes low - strange things like this might occure. I never go under 25Gb free space on this Start-Up Mac OS hard disk !
C. Does this problem arises what ever encoding quality You use ?

I download firefox 5.0 and now I'm having trouble dragging and dropping PDF files into Google Docs and I can't view the PDF once uploaded. I had no problems with this in the previous verion of Firefox

With firefox 5.0 I can't drag and drop pdf files in the google docs screen. When I do eventually get a pdf file uploaded I can't view it. I get "no preview available". In my previous verion of firefox (4.something) I had no problems with this and I was able to drag and drop and after uploaded I could view the entire file.

Thanks one again. I know you helped me the last to. I do have the Deja Vu font set in my folder. I downloaded and the last time. So I don't know if there is supposed to be more or not, but those were installed with Windows-XP after my reformat.
This is really driving me nuts. as I've done several re-formats on my computer and several friends computers and even upgraded hardware so I am not necessarily a software or programming expert, I am somewhat advanced when it comes to computers in general and can usually diagnose the problem but these font's are the problem and they never were before.
I did see in another forum that if you had a Dell Computer and did the Microsoft update for the onboard video card driver that it could be the culprit, but I have that disabled being I have a much better graphics card so the updates from Microsoft for the onboard video weren't installed.
It' a Dell Dimension 3000 with an Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller so I don't believe it is the culprit being it is disabled. The actual video card that I am using is a PCI Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT with 1 GB Memory. And I didn't have any problem before.
I appreciate the help. But still can't get things to work. Live Help Chat doesn't open for another two hours so maybe they can do "Remote Access" or something and can check setting and help me. But if you come up with other suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a problem with this latest update?

I have tried several times to instal latest player and for some reason it will not get past step 2 of 3. I can download and hit save, run and then nothing. Is there a problem with this latest update? I use Vista and run Firefox

I tried to install the one you just suggested on 4/14 and it got as far as opening the installer box then went to white screen for 15min till i had to restart computer. And this morning windows updated and again flash wanted an update so after cleaning flash memory and running a cleaner i tried again. and this time got to step 2of 3 again. I am still running 16.0.0.30.5 It will not update any further

ENVY 7640 error "There is a problem with this printer"

Hi guys. I got this printer 4 months ago and it has been working marvelous. But this weekend when I turned it on the error "There is a problem with this printer" appeared, just after it connected to my wifi network.I made several tests and the error comes only if the network is connected to the internet.When it is not connected to the internet the printer works fine (prints, scans, all via wifi).I have a MAC and an AirPort Time Capsule.Is there any set up that solves the problem?

Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local
Apple store for evaluation and possible replacement.
