Cookies must be enabled to login

Trying to login certain websites on ipad 4 and I get cookies must be enabled to login. Already cleared cookies and tried all settings under cookies. Please help

Thanks for the reply, however, I have tried all the settings under cookies. My iPad works fine but it is my sons iPad which is identical to mine that is having the issues. Trying to login to Espn but it tells us cookies must be enabled to login!
I can login on mine but his won't. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance

  • Cookies Must Be Enabled in Browser for Knowledge Center - UPK 11.0

    Hello,
I am receiving a message when attempting to login to Knowledge Center (UPK v11.0). The message states "Cookies must be enabled in Browser to access Knowledge Center". I had not received this message anytime previously and no new IE updates have been made to my machine. I proceeded to visit and adjust the IE settings appropriately (i.e. Set trusted site, enable cookies for the site, set proper security levels, etc.), however the message still continued to display upon login attempt. I even opened up a new IE window to see if the message still displays, and it did.
Note: this message does not prohibit login (I click Ok on the message pop-up, it closes, and does not prompt again; allowing login just fine).
Is this something that anyone else has experienced or is there any recommendations to correct this?
    Thanks.

We are experiencing it too. We have UPK Pro 11.0 and it looks like this happens for new users the first (or second time) they attempt to login. After they delete their cookie for the Knowledge Center server it appears to go away. I have not been able to figure out the cause of this issue yet.

  • I cannot sign in.  "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store.  Please review your account information."  I click "Review", next message "You must turn on cookies to continue.   Cookies must be enabled if you want to create or edit.. etc."

I applied and received an upgrade code to Redeem Mountain Lion for my new MBP.
I get this message when I try to Sign in to the App Store after entering the redemption content code, and also if I just try to "Sign In".   The first part of the error is true - I haven't used the AppleID with the iTunes store.
I received the upgrade code using this same AppleID, so I don't think I can use a different AppleID.
I also tried to re-create this appleID...(it was one suggestion I saw for this issue) It doesn't let me since the ID already exists...
    The error is:
"This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store.  Please review your account information."  I click "Review", next message "You must turn on cookies to continue.   Cookies must be enabled if you want to create or edit.. etc."
It's clearly not a cookie issue..   Stuck...

The first part of the error is true - I haven't used the AppleID with the iTunes store.
Try here >  Using an existing Apple ID with the iTunes Store and Mac App Store
received the upgrade code using this same AppleID, so I don't think I can use a different AppleID.
    Correct.
It's clearly not a cookie issue..
As for cookies. Quit the App Store. Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder.
Type this exactly as you see it here:   ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go the move the   com.apple.appstore.plist   file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
    Relaunch the App Store.

  • Cookies must be enabled error when attempting to login into Apps

I have the accept cookies set to from visited and also tried always.  I can't log into apps on my ipad.  : (

I deleted cookies and browser history.  I launched Safari browsed to espn.com and randomly clicked on a few links within the site.  I then launched the espn app and I was able to sign in without the cookie error.

  • ESPN will not let me log in. When accessing the log on page, it provides a red-text message saying cookies must be enabled to log in.

I have cleared cookies as well as attempted to log on in FF's Safe Mode and still get the same issues. Issue does not exist in IE.
    -FF v. 23.0.1
    -Windows8
    -Lenovo Ideapad Y500

This problem of nowhere to sign into ESPN site just started today at noon my time; had no problem visiting it earlier in day. Even allowing its third-party cookies no help. ESPN has flickered and frozen briefly in the past with some kind of Flash Shockwave cited I think (I use your Flash Block add-on); could there be a problem there somewhere?

  • Using Quicken to manage a bank account, I get an error message from the bank that cookies and javascript must be enabled, but I don't get that message when I connect with Internet Explorer.

Firefox allows me to get the bank home page through Quicken. But when I try to login, the error message appears saying "cookies and javascript" must be enabled. I have Java on my system, but in Firefox under "tools/options/ I don't find any way to "enable" javascript. I have enabled "cookies".
I have no problem logging in at the bank site using Internet Explorer, but to use it, I have to designate it as the "default browser" before connecting through Quicken. I'd rather keep Firefox as the default.
A bank tech representative was unable to find any commands in Firefox that would deal with this problem, although she clearly had manuals for both Internet Explorer and Firefox. So she concluded that I would have to use Explorer for this operation, since it allowed control of security level settings. She said that in Explorer, security level should be set to medium.
Is there some similar control in Firefox?

Firefox uses the same "security level" setting that is set in IE.

  • Jabber for Windows Login failed with - "Must change at Next Login" for CUCM Authentication

Jabber for Windows users cannot login when "User Must Change at Next Login" is selected in the CUCM credential Policy
    I found this Bug-ID: CSCuh84476
    https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuh84476
We use Jabber for Windows 9.7.4!
I just want to know if there are other users have the same problem and which workaround they applied.
I’m currently testing a User with different Policy credentials (Credentials expire after 1 day).
I think this will also lead to a “username or password wrong”-popup but tomorrow I will see it myself ;)
The planed workaround for us will be to set the “User Must Change at Next Login ” option and the users first have to login at UCM-Userpage to change their initial password.
BTW: Maybe somebody from Cisco know when this get fixed?
    Best regards
    Franz

J4W does rely very heavily on DNS, you should at least all required entries to hosts and lmhosts.
How are your servers defined under system -> server??
Are you able to log into UCMuser page??
Have you properly configured all user/device/line association, and created the necessary service profiles???

The Apple device must be formatted for use with Microsoft® Windows®.
The iTunes setting 'Manually manage music…' must be enabled for the device before you can complete the transfer. Adjust this setting in iTunes as follows…
Connect the iPod® to your computer.
If it does not launch automatically, open iTunes v9.0.2 (or newer).
In iTunes, locate the device in the left vertical navigation panel (under heading 'DEVICES'), and click the device.
    The 'Summary' screen is displayed.
Place a checkmark next to 'Manually manage music…'.

    Hi Rhondavas77,
    To enable/disable Just-In-Time debugging
On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options dialog box, select the Debugging folder.
In the Debugging folder, select the Just-In-Time page.
In the Enable Just-In-Time debugging of these types of code box, select or clear the relevant program types:
    Managed, Native, or Script.
To disable Just-In-Time debugging, once it has been enabled, you must be running with Administrator privileges. Enabling Just-In-Time debugging sets a registry key, and Administrator privileges are required to change that key.
    Click OK.

  • Certain websites wont open up and when i try to email from sites i'm told my cookies aren't enabled and they in fact are.

I have websites that I use a log in to access and they no longer open up properly.
Also on sites such as cnn .com I used to be able to send articles to friends but now I get an error message saying my cookies are NOT enabled. When I check they are. I have cleared the cache etc with no help.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
Some can block cookies, so if the settings in Firefox are OK then look there.

How I detect in a dynamic website either PHP or CFM or JSP that cookies & javascript are enabled ?

You do that on the browser end using JavaScript. For cookies, simply establish session variables in PHP or whatever you use. if the browser refuses them, they wil lreturn a respective value in the referrers...
