Cool features in iWeb NO LONGER work in IE8 - PLEASE ADVISE!
There are so many things broken in IE8 now with my iWeb sites I hardly know where to begin...and I am totally freaked out about this error below. It occurs whenever one trys a photo or blog page on the mobileme servers, and then tries to see it using IE8. FF works fine. My clients are freakin, and I could have sworn this used to work...so either MS or Apple changed something in an update:(?

Uh, not helpful, but I agree with u on getting professional help. Look, are you saying that features that iWeb crams onto a webpage and can't be displayed by IE, which has a major percentage of browser marketshare, is OK with u ?!?
Other items not working: png transparency, a well known problem. Picture frames, probably related to previous. COuntdown widget is also throwing an error and not displaying...the list goes on...
But perhaps there is just a problem with the script:

Hi, I have a 3 year old Macbook Pro 13" and I accidentally cracked the outer screen of my mac book, however the LCD panel is fine and works well. Please advise what to do. I live in India and I have gone to authorised Apple technicians and they infomed me that I will have to replace the LCD panel as well even though it is not cracked, is this really true or can I just change the outer shell? Also they say that they cannot do it in India... can I do it myself at home?
Since it is 3 years old find a local repair shop that can replace the glass Only. you may have to send it out to a Non Local shop for that but there are some that specialize in doiing that on Mac notebooks.
Apple will ony replace the complete screen enclosure with all normal parts included, LCD, Camera, Aluminum housing and glass as one unit. Which is very expensive. Or you could just use it as a desktop system with external monitor and buy a new notebook. -
I am unable to print "ALL Pages" using the Adobe Print plugin in Firefox, only the first page gets printes. however IE works perfectly fine.Please advise. Is it some way that firefox identifies the complete web page..? PLease help

Correction feature from keyboard no longer working
After installing the last iPhone software update 1.0.2, I noticed that the correction feature from the keyboard is no longer working, does not pop-up to suggest corrections or words. Even if I prefer this feature off since it let me type faster, I am worried because I don't know why this is happening, or if can be related with a problem installing the last update.
Anyone knows something about this? Thanks.Try doing a reset (hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down until the Apple logo appears). That will mostly like fix this problem.

My mini dvi output port is no longer working (2007 iMac) please help!
My mini dvi output port is no longer working, can this be replaced or do I need a new motherboard? (it's a 2007 iMac, no longer under warrantee. Long story short when I was out of town someone cut my power cord on my tv I went to turn the tv on and looked at the back of the tv to see if there was any loose connections and found the cord sliced 3/4 of the way through. I must have bumped the cord and it sparked and made a loud pop noise. Well it fried the tv (which has since been fixed) but everything that was connected to it (my ps3, receiver, and my iMac) ports are all not working now... (and yes i did try new hdmi cables to see if it was just that) If this is a hardware issue what exactly is needed to fix this? A new main board? Any feedback would be great on this. I took it to apple and they said $650 to replace the motherboard... Was just wondering if this port can just be replaced or if it is a part of the main board and that does need replacing. Everything else works fine on all three things (ps3, receiver, imac) just the outputs are fried on them. Is there any other way I can do video out of my iMac other than mini dvi? I'm not paying for the repair so I don't mind having apple replace the board, but for $650... I may as well get a new iMac for $500 more...
If Apple said the motherboard is gone, that's your answer. Even if you were to find out the port isn't part of the main board, it's all connected when you're talking about a power surge/short as you described it. And yes, I'd never invest $650 in a 5 year old computer.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -
My Wifi no longer works - can someone please help me? My
so my internet hasn't worked properly in two weeks. I can get it to work for five seconds but then it cuts off and no longer works. The wifi is fine on all my devices except my iMac. Once it cuts off I can turn the wifi on and off and it usually starts working for another five seconds but that only works three times. Script no longer working. Help please.
I have the following script that worked just fine last year, but since upgrading the OS it no longer works as it should. First it only scales and save the first image file of a batch to the 'Photos' folder and does not scale and save any to the 'Thumbs' folder.
Can anybody shed any light on this for me please.

i recently had my computer fixed as it was loaded with viruses. Also I finally got my IPad 1 back from someone who had "borrowed" it for a year. It no longer worked, but in the case i had written down my old apple id. i had purchased 3 other ipad's since then and changed my id. i typed the old id and was delighted to see that i had over $1000 worth of dowmloaded media. i want to use this old acct number on one of my other IPads to avoid confusing two accts, but when i attempted transferring media onto computer it said i needed to first download bonjour. i have been trying to figure out how, but computer genius i am NOT. could someone please help me? i really appreciate any advice you could offer steering me in the right direction with this. thank you, stacey v

Bonjour is a program that is installed on your computer along with iTunes, so you will want to first uninstall iTunes and all of its related components:

Since few days, it's impossible for me to lauch my last version of Iweb. In fact, i tried to amend a template and now, each time i open it, a small window displays on my screen and ask me to do an update of Iweb. My problem is i'm up to date already.... and so, all the main functions are unavaliable.
Could someone help me ???? Please....
Moreover, i'm using Time Capsule for my backups. Of course i tried to restore a copy of Iweb or reinstall it but in vain. I don't know what i can do more

Need flash downloader, have tried all the add ons I can find and none of the work.. .please advise?
I have downloaded most of the addons/extensions that say they will download flash. I have double checked my adobe flash plugin, downloaded any video converter, and real time player and I still can not download a flash movie from the web. It is NOT on you tube or any other video site. When I right click on the ad it says it is a flash movie.

When I try to look for descendent organizations, I am seeing the level I am descending from and the descendents (screen shot). I did not expect to see the row hightlighted.
When I try to find the ancestor on level 1 for OrgId 3, I don't receive any rows. I expected to see only the highlighted row. I have either generated the data incorrectly, or I am thinking about hierarchies in a wrong way.

I am unable to connect to WiFi on my iOS7 devices. I have an iPhone 5 and a iPad. The WiFi symbol shows connection to my wireless router but no internet connection is received. My other non-iOS7 devices are connecting without any problems. I have tried resetting network settings on both devices and rebooting my router with no luck.

Autoplay NO LONGER WORKS with the latest update
Just got an automatic iLife update yesterday, over the web.
Since then, the autoplay for quicktime movies in iWeb no longer works. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a solution?
