COPA derivation error: no segment found

Hi
We are executing transaction code FAGL_IT_01 for the year ending closings we get the error message  COPA derivation error: no segment found
Regards
Medha

Hi Medha
It seems you have written a derivation step in KEDR to derive segment.... Check your Der steps in KEDR and see if its written correctly
Also, in the attributes tab, you might have selected "issue error msg"... Is it so??

  • COPA Derivation rule Error Message no. KE0C133

    Hi
We have Fiscal Year 2010(April To March) and we are maintaining the derivation rule for the cost center in KEDR
Ane we are facing following error (Cost center validity is maintained from 01.04.2010 To 31.12.9999)
If we maintain validity period in from 01.04.2009 To 31.12.9999, then system is allowing to maintain derivation rule.
What you suggest in this Case ?
    Derivation error :
Characteristic value  DIC APOPS01DMU does not exist for characteristic COPA_KOSTL (Cost center)
    Message no. KE0C133
    Diagnosis
The characteristic "COPA_KOSTL" ("Cost center") should be posted to Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). When the system checked the entries, it was established that the transferred characteristic value (" DIC APOPS01DMU") is not valid in CO-PA.
    System Response
The data is not consistent and therefore cannot be transferred to CO-PA.
    Procedure
With the function Maintain Characteristic Values, you can add characteristic values to those that are valid.
    Thanks
    Nilesh

    Hi,
I understand you are checking derivation rule by transaction KEDR.
When you check Derivation, you can input "Derivation Date" in the bottom of Characteristic Popup screen. Please consider what the system check the validity period for e.g. cost center with using "Derivation Date".
Additionally, for CO-PA planning, please consider that CO version also have "Derivation date".
    Hope tis helps.

  • COPA derivation for thecombination of Cost center and Cost element/GL accou

    Hi Gurus,
In COPA derivation using KEDR i am trying to make a derivation for the
combination of Cost center and Cost element. Here i got following problems
    • While posting FI document using t.code FB50 system not automatically
updating the fields Cost center and cost element in Profitability
segment. Hence system not posting COPA document. How can i make this
derivation? Is there any note should i apply regarding these.
    • How can i create cost element as characteristic.
    • If i configure derivation for the combination of Cost center and cost
element will it be posted with copa document for postings or automatic
    postings from MM,HR and FI
Pls provide me solution at the earliest.
    Thanks and Best regards,

    Hi Murali
    Thanks for update
    I explain my req clearly
For me segment is Distribution channel field (EXPORT and DOMESTIC)
If GL account is 1000-2000     always                      Export
If GL account is 2001-3000    and Cost center is     X then Export.
If GL account is 2001-3000    and Cost center is     Y then Domestic.
Based on above REQ i am making derivation using KEDR T.code.
These postings should work for all modules postings such as MM, HR also.
Actually this should work automatically and after saving the transaction we should have copa document also.
But problem is in source fields of derivation we have GL account (HKONT) and Cost element (KSTAR). I am making derivation using either of these.
But after posting document system not giving COPA document.
I found the reason is  at GL postings we are giving input to GL account (HKONT) but we took in KEDR source field as GL account (SAKNR). GL account (HKONT) is not updating GL account (SAKNR) field in PSEG screen in Fb50. Even i try with cost element (KSTAR), GL account (HKONT) is not updating this in PSEG screen in fb50.
If GL account (HKONT) updates either GL account (SAKNR) or cost element (KSTAR) at the time of posting FB50
    Or
If we have the field GL account (HKONT) as source field in KEDR i hope my problem
    Get solved.
If you want further info pls give me your mobile number then i ll call you

  • Copa derivation rule for customer group

    Hi All,
I am currently facing an issue with Derivation rule and hope someone can help me on resolving  this.I have created a COPA derivation rule which has field as
    Source Field
    company code
    Plant
    Target field
    Distribution channel
    Condition
    customer group 3 = 18.
so ideally with this conbination the distribtion channel gets updated
    for the sales order.
However the issue we are facing is that the rule is working for only 1st line item and not for the others. I have also kept setting as" overwrite values only if new values found"
e.g if we see the accounting doc of billing then
    line item 1 customer: x
line item 2 SaLes GL: rule works fine and dist channel is updated.
line item 3 discount GL: rule does not work.
Have checked the derivation rule and it looks correct.
Can you kindly suggest solution to this.

    Hi Ajay,
Thank you so much for your reply. Please note that the GL is a cost element but the category in system is 1 and not 12.However I would like understand as to why is this happening.why does the system picks up derviation rule for a Gross sales GL and not for Discount GL(Cost element).
The distribution channel  gets updated for sales GL when i check the prof segment of the line item, however this is not the case with doscount GL.
I would like to understnad the implication before changing cost element category from 1 to 12 as it runs across system.
    Kindly provide some more explaination.
    thanks in advance.

I'm using an intel chipset with integrated graphics on an older computer, (old enough that I have to use kms) which worked previously, but didn't after the update. I've already enabled kms, so I ruled that out, if any of you can help, here are my logs:

With the vesa driver specified, it still gives me an error based on the extension "Record" in xorg.

Crap, it didn't work. I tried with the i915 thing on through grub, and is still failed.
The bug in xorg also said that there was a bug with the module 'record' so I removed it completely and tried again, for some reason it still didn't work. With vesa as the driver, I get a black screen, which is the closest to a GUI I've seen in weeks.

  • Fiori Uncaught Error: The segment {SAP__Origin} is required.

    Hi,
We are trying to extend the Purchase Contract Approval by adding custom field in item detail view. We are able to view the header detail view but when try to access item detail view error below occur in IE. Thanks
Uncaught Error: The segment {SAP__Origin} is required.

If you use segement in the New General Ledger this will not appear
in OME9 as a field that you can make either Required, optional, display,
or hidden. OME9 is not regenerated based on settings made in financial
accounting making fields such as segment visible. These fields relate
to table EKKN which does not contain the segment field.
Instead this field is derived when you enter the cost center/profit
center in the account assignment data for the purchase order.
You can check using ks03 the master data of your cost centre. And
if you have a profit centre maintained here the segment will be derived
via this profit center. Therefore you need to next check with
transaction ke53 to see what segment is maintained here.
    Hope this information helps you.

  • COPA Derivation Rules are not assigning the correct values

COPA Derivation Rules are not assigning the correct values when we process billing documents in batch.  We currently have derivation rules defined to take the ship to country and refer to custom tables were we identify custom geographic groups (INT/DOM and EAM, AP, etc.).  The derivation rules work accurately when the billing documents are created individually, and more than 75% of them are accurate when generated in batch, but in some circumstances, it populates the derived values with the wrong field and we can not identify where or why that's happening.  It looks like it may have something to do when the ship to customer number account group is different, but that's not consistent..  Does anyone know how or where these values get populated, or have any ideas why incorrect values are appearing sporadically throughout the billing run?  Thanks!!!

    Leigh,
Apparently the function module is changing the values for some billing docs. Check one of the following user exits, if it gets triggered and the values are changed:
COPA0001  Enhancement for derivation in Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
    Function Module: EXIT_SAPLKEDRCOPA_001
COPA0002  Enhancement for valuation in Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
    Function Module: EXIT_SAPLKEAB_001
COPA0003  Enhancement for assignment to profitability segment (CO-PA)
    Function Module: EXIT_SAPLKEAK_001
COPA0005  Enhancement for actual data update (CO-PA)
    Function Module: EXIT_SAPLKEII_001
    Function Module: EXIT_SAPLKEII_002
Award suitable points if the above helps. You can also reach me at [email protected]
    Thanks
    Ajay

  • DADs on WLS 11g (version 10.3.6.0) do not work (Error 404--Not Found)

Actually we use Application Server 10g (version 10.1.2.3.0) for different Forms 10g Applications (roundabout 1000 Forms) and want to change to Forms 11g and Weblogic Server 11g (version 10.3.6.0). A Test-Application on the Weblogic Server works fine, but DAD’s do not work at all.
In Enterprise Manager 10g i can configure DADs within the GUI of the Enterprise Manager, where i can see, if a connection could be established or not.
In Enterprise Manager 11g Fusion Middleware Control this doesn't seem to exist anymore, so i tried to configure the DADs manually, but something has to be wrong or missing, because there is no connection to the database and the following error appears:
    Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
I added several DAD’s to /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/mod_plsql/dads.conf like this:
    <Location /pls/jd-download-dev>
    SetHandler pls_handler
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from All
    AllowOverride None
    PlsqlDatabaseUsername w_web_user_download
    PlsqlDatabasePassword @BWKChfgPacV6yQL40lIKZqXUUA9wC4cmAw==
    PlsqlDatabaseConnectString jddev TNSFormat
    PlsqlNLSLanguage German_Germany.WE8ISO8859P1
    PlsqlAuthenticationMode Basic
    PlsqlDefaultPage w_anwendung.p_web_show_document
    PlsqlAlwaysDescribeProcedure Off
    PlsqlErrorStyle DebugStyle
    </Location>
The passwords were obfuscated with dadTool.pl and the http-Server restarted with /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/bin/opmnctl restartproc process-type=OHS
The files /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/mod_plsql.cache.conf and /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/config/OHS/ohs1/moduleconf.plsql.conf were left unchanged.
Our Test-Application generates the following link
    'http://172.106.2.7:9001/pls/jddevdev/B_ARCHIVE.P_ARCHIVE_VIEW?docfid=200'
that seems to be ok, because when i replace IP and port with our old IAS it works fine, but the WebLogic Server generates the above mentioned error.
To get some more information i searched an error_log in /opt/oracle/product/Middleware/asinst_1/diagnostics/logs/OHS/ohs1 but there isn’t any.
I used the following Documentation for configuring the DADs which is for HTTP Server 11g Release 1 (version 11.1.1), because I could not find one for version 10.3.6.0:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/e10144/under_mods.htm#i1055269
So probably there are differences between configuring version 10.3.6.0 and version 11.1.1 and so something is wrong configured or missing...
Thank you in advance for your help
    Udo

    Hi Raj,
it is a Sparc Solaris 10
    and yes that's my enviorment.
After some more tests it's seems it's not a real bug but no realy nice working solution.
Eclipse uses for all instances the same secure storage, where OEPE also saves the password.
And if I look right the pasword was saved without the user context, so if you use an other user he takes the same password from the old user.

  • Why does FCP error "File Not Found" when I try to open my sequences????

I recently updated all of my software and the following day I started getting errors "file not found" when I would try to open a sequence. Now all of my sequences are being lost and I am losing time and money because I can't meet deadlines! This *****!!! With one sequence I had to reedit the entire thing from scratch and when I did for some reason the old one would then open. But the next time I opened FCP both sequences would error out. Following the "file not found" the computer responds with another error "error: out of memory" What the devil is going on with this crap?

I seem to have figured out what my problem was. After trying to build the same project (that failed on the Mac Pro) on my laptop and encountering the same errors, I realized that the problem had to be with one or more of my assets and not my new version of FCP, since my PowerBook is running FCP 5.0.4 and my Mac Pro is running FCP 5.1.2.
In my case the "corrupt" file was a Photoshop PSD file. In the past (FCP 4.5) I was able to use PSD files with hidden layers. I would merge the visible layers into one layer, keep the hidden layers and save the file. Once in FCP, I imported the PSD file and kept right on truckin'. I've done this for years. For some reason now with FCP 5.1.2 (and 5.0.4), that's not flying anymore. Once I "Flattened" the PSD file in Photoshop (deleting all of the hidden layers) I was able to build the project without any errors.
Interestingly, the technique I used to figure out which file was "corrupt" also allowed me to salvage parts of some of my "lost" sequences. I saw this posted in a forum at Creative Cow (creativecow.net). Basically, I opened up the project, clicked the OK button after the File Not Found error, went into the Browser, right clicked on the offending sequence, selected "Make Offline". When I double clicked the sequence it opened in the timeline with all of my assets offline. Then in the timeline, one by one, I right clicked on each clip and selected "Reconnect Media". Once I linked up the media, if I didn't get an error message, I would save as a new project (to salvage what WAS working), and go to the next clip. I did this until I found the offending PSD files.
I hope this helps. Now it's time to play "catch-up"

  • [SOLVED] == ERROR: file not found: `/sbin/dmsetup'

[EDIT] A much simpler way to deal with this is to explicitly ignore the kernel update during a full system update:
    pacman -Syu --ignore linux
Then explicitly update the kernel alone:
    pacman -S linux
[EDIT] First, after a full system update I had to move the STUB kernel image from the UEFI directory back to /boot, them recreate the images a second time. The systemd service moved it back to the UEFI directory.
[EDIT] The use of 'mdadm_udev' in HOOKS= also seems to be no longer just 'preferred' to the 'mdadm' hook but instead is now mandatory.
    I've read the news item...
    Changes to LVM
    2013-02-12 - Thomas Bächler
With lvm2 2.02.98-3, we now utilize lvmetad to activate LVM volumes automatically. This implies the following changes:
The lvm2 initramfs hook now requires the udev hook.
The use_lvmetad = 1 must be set in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf. This is the default now - if you have a lvm.conf.pacnew file, you must merge this change.
You can restrict the volumes that are activated automatically by setting the auto_activation_volume_list in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf. If in doubt, leave this option commented out.
If you need monitoring (needed for snapshots), run systemctl enable lvm-monitoring.service.
The lvmwait kernel command line option is no longer needed and has no effect.
If you run pacman -Syu and update device-mapper, linux and lvm2 at the same time, you will get an error message that /sbin/dmsetup is missing. Run mkinitcpio -p linux again after the update to avoid any problems.
...and I do get the message...
==> ERROR: file not found: `/sbin/dmsetup'
...but after a full system update with...
    pacman -Syu
    ...when I execute...
    mkinitcpio -p linux
    ...this is what I get...
    Building image from preset: 'default'
    /boot/vmlinuz-linux -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/initramfs-linux.img
ERROR:specified kernel image does not exist: `/boot/vmlinuz-linux'
    Building image from preset: 'fallback'
    /boot/vmlinuz-linux -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/initramfs-linux-fallback.img -S autodetect
ERROR:specified kernel image does not exist: `/boot/vmlinuz-linux'
So of course if I reboot I get the dreaded 'No volume groups found' message.
I should mention that I use the systemd path and service to move the kennel after it has been updated.

Just to confirm. You did all these steps, right?
    EDIT: I just noticed something:
KairiTech wrote:HOOKS="base udev autodetect sata mdadm usbinput keymap encrypt lvm2 filesystems timestamp shutdown"
    Replace
    mdadm
    with
    mdadm_udev
. Maybe this is nothing, but it is recommended to use this one instead of the other.

  • Error File not Found in CS 5.5

When I go to open up PP CS 5.5 it provides a list of possible projects I can open up. Click on a project and it opens accordingly. However, over the past 2 days it has become problematic. I can click on the listed project but I now receive an error message: Error file not found. PP will not open up. I haven't moved any files, folders or projects around. I have simply closed the project, quit PP and then opened it again when wanting to edit. I have tried opening up the auto saved project file and I receive the same message?

Hi Todd both your solutions (and the one suggested by Colin) works initially. Dbl click the project file and it opens PPro.  However, I tried this on another project which has a 3rd party pllugin (Smartsound Sonic Fire Pro) in it. Things get interesting with Smartsound being activated with me unable to quit out of it and I am not able to access Premier Pro. I have to Force Quit both programs. Then when I try to dbl click on the program that opened up OK the error message returns: File format not supported. There is no Smartsound file involved in this project? Same thread? New thread? many thanks for your responses

The systemd build hook looks like this:
    build() {

    add_binary /bin/mount
    add_binary /usr/bin/kmod /usr/bin/modprobe
    # systemd

    add_file "/usr/lib/systemd/system-generators/systemd-fstab-generator"

    # libdbus needs the passwd info of the root user
    # TODO: make sure this is no longer necessary when systemctl moves to sd-bus
    add_file "/etc/nsswitch.conf"
    add_file "/etc/passwd"
    add_binary "$(readlink -f /usr/lib/libnss_files.so)"

Do all of those files exist on your sytemd? I'm not running testing nor systemd in my initrd, so I can't do much checking.

  • Error: file not found

    Hello,
I am using a labview program which already exists. The program
inputs a file ( txt file with some numerical data) and gives the output
file at the required location after performing some calculations to it.
The problem is when I input my file path and run the program it always
gives an error ' file not found'. Please help me.
    Thanks
    Laxmikanth

    Hi Laxmikanth,
Some more info would be helpful. Such as posting a image of your program, which version of labview, platform etc.
that being said if you are literally typing in the filepath that is the most likely source for the error. Is there a browse button visible to the right of the filepath control? If not try right clicking and under the visible menu make sure the browse button is selected. Then click on the browse button and find/select your disk file. Now run the program and see if you get the same error.
    Cheers,

  • Error : file not found in SharePoint 2010

I have a problem of error "file not found" in a site collection SharePoint 2010.
I cannot access to home page, the page of list/library/permission,etc. All pages will appear an error "file not found"
I can access to the page of "all content"
I can access to the site setting page, but I cannot open the link on this page. For example, I select "quick launch" in "Look and feel" section, it will show an error "file not found".
I think I must reset my master page, but I cannot use SharePoint Designer (forbidden in my application), I cannot open the link on site setting page, and I cannot open library page to check the master page
I can access to mobile view, and all pages work well in mobile view, but I did not find site setting page
How could I check the master page? Or this problem has other solution?
    Thank you in advance.

You might have referred an image or style sheet or some file from an invalid path. Check the error in detail, where you might be able to know which file or file path is not correct. Then recorrect it in the master page and then refresh the site.
UPDATE - Can you configure the web.config to display the detailed error? Make -
    <CustomErrors Mode="Off">, CallStack="true" and
    <compilation debug="true" />
Do an IISReset and then refresh the site.

  • XML Parsing Error: no element found Location:Line Number 1, Column 1:

    Hi,
i have a servlet code in which i am using bouncy castle encryption algorithm , if i tried to run that servlet on embeded weblogic server than my servlet works fine without error.
but if i deploy same Servlet code on SOA domain console than i get following error.
XML Parsing Error: no element found
    Location: http://localhost:7001/Encryption-PGPEncrypt-context-root/pgpservlet
    Line Number 1, Column 1:
    Please help me friends...

    Hi Chandra,
Based on my research, the error message is only generated by FireFox when the render page is blank in Internet. For some reason, .NET generates a response type of "application/xml" when it creates an empty page. Firefox parses the file as XML and finding
no root element, spits out the error message.
Also, based on your description, the other sites are opened correctly, the issue only happened in Central Administration(CA). This means the SharePoint services are working fine.
Since this issue only occurred in the CA, it might be due the application pool for the CA is corrupted. Please try to restart the application pool for the CA to resove the issue:
    1. Open Internet Information Service(IIS)
    2. List the application pools
    3. Select the application pool used for the CA
    4. Stop it, and then start it again.
Note, if the application pool is running in Classic mode, please change it to be Integrated mode.
