Copied L-objects not selected by PCH

we copied L-objects to a new PLVAR and number range. All objects and relations are shown in PP02 but logical database PCH does not select them.
Any ideas?

issue solved. We had to run RHPLOGI0.

Hi,
is there a function provided by the java API that allows you to copy an object into a new instance as opposed to just copying the reference to that object?

You could use the clone() method. Refer the documentation for more help.
Alternatively, you could write the object to an java.io.ObjectOuputStream and read it from java.io.ObjectInputStream.
This will give you the copy of the object written to ObjectOutputStream.

Pages 5 OS X 10.9 background objects not selectable.

I have upgraded to the new pages.
I am using a file i creadted in the old one. I have a table that kept going to the background. I used to tick the "make background objects selectable box" and volla I could edit it.
I can not find this option anywhere in the new pages and am unable to edit the table contents. I have tried sleceting "make master objects selectable" in the arrange menu bar. This has had no effect.
Please help!

This problem bugged me for days in the new Pages. It seems background images aren't really supported that well. The option "Make background objects selectable" has disappeared. So now I have documents with an 'unselectable' image that I can't move around or delete.
I finally found the following workaround to delete an unselectable background image.
1. Use Select All (⌘+A) and copy all content to the clipboard (⌘+C)
2. Open a new blank document (⌘+N) and paste the content there (⌘+V)
3. In the new document, the 'backgrounded' image will be in the foreground, inline with text, and it's selectable with the mouse!
4. Select, modify or delete the object.
5. Then simply paste the fixed content over your original document.
I truly hope this gets a real fix though. Pages has enough problems as it is, but the flexible layouting and object placement were a real nice feature compared to Word.

Pages background objects - not selectable

Hi,
I recently updates Pages and opened a document that I was previously working on (in the older version). I used to make background objects selectable in the inspector, the inspector has since changed and I cannot click on a textbox that I placed in the background. Therefore I cannot amend the text in the box nor move the box, I can't even highlight it. I have searched online and tried the "Make master objects selectable" and I still cannot do anything to it.
Any suggestions welcome.

Copy/Paste MIDI notes

In version 7, I could copy MIDI notes from a region of track to any other regions without a hitch.
For some reason when I do this in 8, Logic stretches the destination region a bar or so..?
As I did in 7, I place the playhead where I want to copy the MIDI notes, select 'copy', then place the playhead where I want to paste the notes and select 'paste'. The notes get pasted but, for some reason, a bar gets added to the region. I opened 7 and tried it and it worked as it always had and as I described above.(without stretching the region)
Is there a setting or preference in 8 that is causing, or would resolve, this..?

i think if the duration of the note(s) is longer than the midi window displays, it moves it weird so that it shows the right side end of the notes. you can open the right side of the midi windows wider and paste then drag it back to fit right.

ADF 11g can not select and copy data from cell of readonly table in IE

In ADF 11g, when render view object as readonly table with Single RowsSelection, using IE browser can not select and copy data from the cell, but it work in firefox.
is it a bug?

Looks like this bug was fixed as of yesterday - I'd like to know
when there will be a patch available to users. I bought Flex 3 just

I forgot to mention one point about copying shape layers into one shape layer: when you initially use the Shape Selection tool to select a shape for cutting, make sure the option for the Shape Selection tool is set to "Add to Selection".

Smart playlist keeps copying to ipod although it's not selected

I've tried changing the name. I've made sure it's not selected to copy to the ipod. But a particular "smart playlist" that I've created keeps copying over to my ipod touch.
Any idea what I can do to stop it, aside from totally deleting the playlist?

Thanks for the response. I had thought of that and "no" I do not (and did not).
I'm really puzzled about this one and prefer not to scrub everything and start over. I imagine deleting a file or something may help to create preferences or something. I just have no idea at this point.

How not to Copy PD infotype records while copying an object (eg org unit)

Hi Experts!
Is there a possibility exclude an infotype from copying while we copy an object for example org unit (o) or position (s)?
We have a custom infotype that holds unique data for this particular object and should not be copied automatically, but unfortunately when we copy for example a position, this record is also copied automatically.

Please follow SPRO>Personnel Management>Organizational Management>Hierarchy Framework>Exclude Infotypes when Copying Internal Objects and make the desired entries for object type and the custom infotype.
Go through the supplied SAP documentation on this IMG activity for a better understanding.

Simple copy of reports not working - help please

What can you do?

You can print out this message by choosing "Print". Transaction ST22
allows you to display and manage termination messages, including keeping
them beyond their normal deletion date.
Error analysis
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLSOA2 " raised the exception
condition "OBJECT_NOT_SENT".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior program
in the hierarchy, processing was terminated.
Short description of exception condition:
Object was not sent
For detailed documentation of the exception condition, use
Transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can take the called

How to correct the error
If the error occurred in a non-modified SAP program, you may be

Objects not visible in Portal Worklist Translation

Hi All,
I am encountering a strange issue in Portal Content translation for ESS. I need to edit the Overview workset to French properly. I have created the worklist and have added the workset to it. After adding, I followed the procedure below:
- Generate Translatiion Data
- Release for Translation
Then, when I go to Worklist translation and select my worklist, in statistic details table itself, I see Total column as 2 (i.e. without any workset object)
After selecting src detsn lang, on Load for Translation, I just see the worklist name (1 for name, 1 for description) in the src destn table. There is no workset object in the source destination table to be selected for translating the text.
However, when I try to create dummy new workset and add it to new worklist. Then things work perfectly fine as it should be. I have even tried adding Benefits & Payment workset but no luck (i.e. same after addition not shown on "load for translation"). I am successfully able to add and see Career and Devpt workset (also any of the iViews) on "load for translation" for changing the text.
Is there any property for to be set for workset (copy of standard ESS workset) ?
Problem is objects are getting added in Translation worklist coordination but are not shown to edit src destn text on "load for translation".
Help is appreciated.

It sounds like you have Soundtrack Pro installed but you cannot select your external audio device as an input. I recommend the troubleshooting steps from the article named:

Update to the latest software versions
From the Apple () menu, choose Software Update and make sure that you have the most recent updates for your versions of Soundtrack Pro 3, QuickTime, Compressor, Pro Application Support, and other important system files. Installing the latest updates ensures that your software has the latest improvements and enhancements.
Note: Be sure the application is in the Applications folder and is named Soundtrack Pro before running Software Update.
Check compatibility and driver versions for third-party devices
If you're using a third-party sound card, MIDI interface, storage system, control surface, or plug-in, check the support area on the manufacturer's website to be sure that you're using the latest version of the relevant driver or other software for your product. For information on troubleshooting possible issues with Audio Unit plug-ins, go to Soundtrack Pro 3: Troubleshooting Audio Unit plug-in issues.
Try a different Multitrack Project or Audio File Project
Sometimes project files can become damaged, causing unexpected behavior in Soundtrack Pro. To create a fresh project, choose File, then New and select Multitrack Project or Audio File. Test to see if the issue is resolved in the new project.
Delete the User Preferences
You can resolve many issues by restoring Soundtrack Pro to its original settings. This will not impact your project files. To reset your Soundtrack Pro user preference settings to their original state:
Quit Soundtrack Pro if it is open.
In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu bar.
Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
Remove the "com.apple.soundtrackpro.plist" file from the Preferences folder.
In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
Type ~/Library/Application Support/Soundtrack Pro in the "Go to the folder" field.
Remove the "EffectsCache.plist" file from the Soundtrack Pro folder.
In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
Type ~/Library/Application Support/Soundtrack Pro/Layouts in the "Go to folder" field.
Remove the "Soundtrack Pro.saved.moduleLayout" file from the Layouts folder.

Remove receipts and reinstall Soundtrack Pro 3 and Compressor
Another approach you might consider is reinstalling Soundtrack Pro and Compressor. To do this effectively, you need to remove the applications and their receipts, then install Soundtrack Pro and use Software Update to install additional updates. Compressor gets installed automatically when you install Soundtrack Pro. You don't have to remove everything that was installed with Soundtrack Pro, so follow the steps below to completely reinstall a fresh copy of Soundtrack Pro. Note: Make sure that you have your installation discs handy before beginning.
In Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard or OS X Lion
Open the Terminal application and enter the following commands one at a time and an administrator password when prompted. Note: The commands are case sensitive.
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.Compressor
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.Qmaster
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.VideoOutSupport
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.PSTSharedA
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.AppleHDVCodec
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.AppleIntermediateCodec
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.DSPPublishing
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.SoundtrackPro
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.Uncompressed422
Then, reinstall Soundtrack Pro and Compressor using the following steps:
Open the Applications folder. Drag the Soundtrack Pro and Compressor applications to the Trash.
Insert your Logic Studio or Final Cut Studio installation disc and install Soundtrack Pro.
When finished installing, choose the Apple () menu, then Software Update to update your software to the latest version.
Open Soundtrack Pro to verify that the issue has been resolved.
