Copies of  texts on my computer?

Can I get copies of my children's texts on my computer?

No, only text logs are available on your MyVerizon account.

Can I have two separate copies of iTunes on one computer? In Windows XP, I would like one copy on one user login, and a discrete different copy on another user login. My computer is not letting it install twice. How do I do this? Thanks!

  • How can i text through my computer(through my apple ID) to my text messages on phone

i ahve seen this done but I can not seem to figure it out. i am trying to text through my computer. can anyone help?

If you have a Mac running Mountain Lion or later an you are signed into Messages using the same Apple ID as on your phone, you can send and receive iMessages from your computer.
Your carrier may also have other options. My carrier, Verizon, offers a service called Verizon Messages which allows you to send and receive SMS messages from your number from a website (or from an app on your iPad).

    You aren't doing anything wrong.
If the PDF is short enough, your iPad Mail app will display the text as part of the mail.
Actually it is still an attachment.
Tap and HOLD on the text and you should see options to "Open In..." that will allow you to open the PDF in most PDF readers such as iBooks, GoodReader, etc.

  • HT1688 Is there an "easy" way to either 1) cut and paste a large block of text from the Messages app or 2) access this text through a computer?

Tap and hold the text you want to copy, then tap Copy.

  • GPO for changing Text of "My Computer"

    Hi,
Is there any way to change the text of "My computer" in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 using a GPO?
In the past I changed the text of "My computer" on our domain computers with a statup script. This script change HKCR\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\ Value LocalizedString to "%username% on %computername%" and worked well with Windows XP and
    Windows Server 2003.
Now on Windows 2008 and Windows 7 this key is restricted.
    Read for
    System
    Administrators
    Users
    Full access for
    TrustedInstallaer
So my statup script does not work, because it acts as system account.
    Bye
    Georg

    Hi,
Please expend Computer Configuration or User Configuration and navigate to Preferences\Windows Settings\Registry to modify the value of HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\LocalizedString
    to "%username% on %computername%".
    Does it work?

  • If I have a MacBook Air, can I download digital copies of movies onto another computer that uses the same iTunes account and still get the movies on my MacBook?

If I have a MacBook Air, can I download digital copies of movies onto another computer that uses the same iTunes account and still get the movies on my MacBook?

In most countries with a lot of movies yes you can, just like how iCloud works with apps/music

  • Receiving multiple copies of text messages

i have an iPhone 6 plus and have been receiving multiple copies of the same text message (up to 4x) from various contacts across various carriers. This has been an issue throughout having an iPhone 5s and 6 plus, and only occurs with regular messages, not iMessage. It also does not occur for automated text messages sent to me (e.g. Redbox). While I have unlimited messages it is frustrating because they are sent to me multiple times, and not necessarily in the same order each time. It is also inconsistent. I might get a single copy of one text and four of another. I have reset the phone, changed phones, and every other thing possible. This seems to be an issue not on my end. Assistance would be much appreciate.  Thanks.

Great information Kashume42! Let's make sure that your messaging application is not the culprit. Please download and install Verizon Messages http://bit.ly/1mTrHaQ from the App store. Make it your default messaging application and test. Keep us posted.

  • Two copies of iTunes on one computer?

A pretty stupid problem, but I can't figure it out. It appears that there are two copies of iTunes on one of our computers--or at least, iTunes somehow displaying two different profiles. If I have "start iTunes automatically" checked, when I connect the iPod, iTunes opens, and it shows the location of the Library file as on the workstation's local HD. Conversely, if I use the shortcut icon on the desktop to open iTunes, it points to a Library location on a network shared drive (which is where I want it to be).
I cannot for the life of me figure out where the two copies, if they exist, of the iTunes.exe file are located. The Properties for the shortcut iTunes icon is grayed out in the "find Target" box. I can find one copy of iTunes in the local c:\Programs\iTunes folder. Control Panel Add/Remove Programs list shows only one iTunes program. Is there any way to figure this out?

  • Copying any text in symbol copies ALL text in symbol

Running Illustrator CS4, Mac 10.5.4, Quad Intel
Selecting any text within a symbol--even one word of a paragraph for instance--copies *all* of the text in the symbol (including text in any nested symbols). (This has been convenient when stripping text into a Word file, but not convenient when trying to do other text tasks.) Happens no matter where in the symbol hierarchy I am.
Has anyone encountered this? Have searched the forum, and the web--can't find any mention anywhere. Have replicated the error on several machines with unique installs of Illustrator.
Any advice or explanation will be appreciated.

Copy the symbol, if you wish paste in front or paste on the canvas outside the artboard.
    Break the link.
If you update the symbol delete delinked copy and make a new one. You can hide the copy as well.
Or you might try using variables.

  • How can I view and print my texts on my computer?

I need to be able to view my history of texts on my iPhone on my computer.  What is the process?

There is no ready made process, but there are a number of programs called something akin to "iPhone backup extractor" that might be able to pull the text message history out of the device backup, after which you should be able to do what you want with it.

  • Slide Text works on computer, not on iPad

I have several lines of text and numbers in a text box on my slides. They look great on my computer, but the formats incorrectly on the iPad, from which it will be projected. How can I fix this so the text doesn't wrap around to the next line? Do I need to create a PDF file?

My guess is the text is using a font which isn't available on the iPad.  If that's the case, the easiest solution is to switch to one of the iPad-compatible fonts:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4637
You could also make the text box a little wider, which might keep the text from wrapping even if the font changes a little when brought over to the iPad

  • Imac- how do I stop the messaging where I get every text on my computer?

this is driving me crazy- how do I block it- every phone text message shows up on the computer.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
You are referring to Messages. Since 10.8.2, Messages can read messages sent to the iPhone from your Mac, but you can turn this off.
To do it, open Messages, and go to Messages menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences > Accounts. Now, select the Apple ID on the sidebar and, under “Send & Receive”, unmark all the email addresses and phone numbers from what you receive messages to the iPhone, so they will stop being shown in your Mac

  • My iphone will not receive/send calls or texts when my computer is on? Help?

Recently I've noticed my iphone is having reception problems while I'm in my apartment. I've noticed that when my computer is on, my iphone will not receive or send any texts or calls and has problems connecting to the internet. This is a pretty new development, I've had my phone for years with the same computer and no problems before. Any ideas?

Your computer and iPhone 4 are two seperate elements really using different connections.
i.e your computer will probably use your router to connect to the internet where as your iphone uses your mobile phone carrier to send and receive texts and calls.
So its pretty difficult to judge how they can effect each other. You try resetting your router, but ive never heard of anything like this happening before...
