Coping R/3 Structure to CRM

Hi Gurus
I am new to CRM
I have copied the R/3 Structure to CRM, and it is working perfect in develpment server.
know i want to transport it to Quality Server.
How can transport it to Quality Server can anybody help me?

know i have one doubt, I will go to the Quality Server and Production Server do the Copying R/3 structure to CRM manually.I have defined one sales org. and 5 sales offices.
I have created the Org.Determination Rule for the Lead Transaction, when i enter the sales prospect a pop has to raise with the sales offices(this is bec. of Report purpos how many leads have been generated in particular sales office).
It is working properly in the Development server.
When i have transported the Org.determination rule to the Quality server it has created one more set of sales offices that is know i have 10 sales offices duplicate has been created.
know how can i solve this problem.
whether i should create the Org.determination Rule manually in the Quality and Production Server. or What.

Goto SE80 -> package : CRM_ORGMAN.
Here you will get all the FM used for Organisation structure in CRM.
I doubt if CRM as any BAPI in general for Organisation

I think you have not understood my questions. I already worked with replication of Org structure from ERP to CRM.
But i dont have idea about replication of Org structure from CRM to ERP.
My question is
1 Can we replicate Org structure from CRM to ERP.

Deletion of ORGANISATION STRUCTURE in CRM

I am working with CRM 5.0. Can anybody help in stating that from where ORGANISATION STRUCTURE in CRM can be deleted.On deleting the assignment by right click to org unit only assignments gets deleted the entry remains in table.

Can a sales & marketing organization be created in same organization structure in CRM 5.0.
My requirement is to create a Sales & marketing Department in a company say 'SK Co.'
Once these are defined then the respective sales hierarchy can be created like for 'sales' ; Sales organization, Sales office , Sales group.

Industrial hierarchical structure on CRM GUI.

I am trying to create an industrial hierarchical structure on CRM GUI on SPRO(Cross application componentes,SAP Business Partner,Business partner,Organizations,Mantain Industry System and Industries). I would like to know if exist any tool or if is possible to download massively my data,from an excel file,to CRM, considering the hierarchical structure.

Organization structure in CRM 7.0 from ECC and HR

Hi,
We are trying to download Org structures from ECC and HR. (CRM 7.0, HR & R/3 ECC 6.0)
From HR
The ALE distribution is set across the systems CRM and HR and I did the PFAL run as per the best practices BB C05. There are about 100,000 Idocs inbound to CRM system and out of which about 15K are in 51 status and the rest are in 53 status.
Observations:
The Organization structure from HR is not totally mapped in CRM but only a part of it is displayed in PPOMA_CRM.
The remaining Org units are found in 'non-related objects' selection.
All the Idocs in failure are in error "Error in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype ". When I go to the long text
Message no. 5-109
Diagnosis
An error has occurred in subroutine read_namtb for structure of infotype .
Procedure
Check the entry for infotype in table T777D (structure, IDoc segment, expanded structure) and the corresponding structures.
I am not sure which infotype needs to be checked in T777D.
From ECC
The CRM - ECC connectivity is set. Downloaded all the required customizing objects successfully. Switched the org model to "enhanced backend integration version " and then followed on to SPRO->CRM->Master Data->Organizational Management->Data transfer->Copy SAP ECC structure and selected all the available R/3 Organization assignments available and then selected the "generate selected lines".
Observations:
All the generated org units are in GREEN in SPRO but there are no assignments found in PPOMA_CRM not even in the unrelated objects
Checked tables HRP1000 and HRP1001 from the CRM Sales org unit IDs (ex: O 5000012) created here and they are not found but the generation is in GREEN.
I will appreciate any assistance I get here.

Could you please let me know the process how the problem is solved..
even we are having the same issue like, we have downloaded the Org Model form HR to CRM system, till here it was fine.
when we are trying to download the ECC sales structure(CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE) to CRM system, i have selected all the items and triggered the Gerenerated Selectd Lines, but after all the items are generating in a error with RED.
Could you please share you knowledge, so that it will help me in figuring out the issue.

Org structure for CRM 5.0

we are going for crm 5.0 n crm service, my parent company has 2 group companies , I would like to know whether i can have seperate org structure for each group company for each section (i.e: sales , marketing and service) for each group company
I justr want to confirm whether the org structure can be different for each group company for each function (i.e: sales , marketing and service) as well as the parent company can have a seperate org structure for all 3 functions.

I think it can definetely be different.
Our business case is the following:
We have two different nodes: one for sales organization structure and another one for purchase organization structure.
Then we have three different sub-organization branched to the main node. The three ones are for : Programs, Product and Marketing.
Just beware how FM might work in organizational model determination, once you create an order.

Row size of Structure in CRM ISA

Hi Guys,
I want to iterate a Structure on Java side of CRM ISA but I don't know the row size of that structure. Could you please tell me how to get the row size or length of that structure so that I can iterate the structure. Or if there is any other method to iterate or get the multiple values from the structure please tell me.

Are you trying to iterate through the fields of the structure? If so there appears to be a .fields() method on the structure object that gives you a JCO.Iterator. You can try something like this:
JCO.FieldIterator fields = sapStructure.fields();
while (fields.hasNextFields()) {
          JCO.Field fld = fields.nextField();
          String fieldName = fld.getName();
          String fieldVal = recordField.getValue();
I've never tried this before so I don't know if its what you need.

Please help....BOM structure in CRM without plant

We have the BOM structures downloaded into the CRM system from the R/3 system, but have an issue with the plant data.
When we enter the product into the sales order, it explodes, but brings in all components,not just the ones related to a specific plant. the issue is that because plant doesn't exist in the CRM system, it cannot determine only the componet parts for that plant in crm.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and can help?

We want to integrate the organization structure and employees from mySAP HR system to mySAP CRM system. We are also aware that the same can be achieved through ALE Interface between both these systems.
In addition to the HR Organization Structure from HR system, can we also bring over the Sales Organization Structure from R/3 using transaction CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE?
1) Can someone , please let us the possible challenges which might occur when we download HR Org structure from SAP HR to SAP CRM.?
2) What is the implication of maintaining an HR org structure and CRM Sales Org structure within the SAP CRM 52 system?
3) Any _precautions) should we take before doing the download via ALE??

Hi Ritvij,
Couple of things that spring to mind are:
1) When you do the initial data load (PFAL) try to ensure that no one is amending the Org structure as Objects can be locked and therefore not transferred. (on one of our test loads the top level was locked and therfore all subsequent levels were just transfered and we didn't have a top level)
2) Keep the 'forms of address' in CRM the same as the R/3 ones
3) Keep the same Employee and Org Unit IDs but prefix with (for exmaple) EM and OU in CRM. (Through the HR integration config in CRM). This may also (apparantley) aid you if set up something like an Employee interaction centre in the future.
I will update when other stuff springs to mind.

New ECC system with new org structure into existing CRM 7 system

Hi,
We have a situation where we have a current ECC 6 system which distributes organisation structure to a CRM 7 system using ALE (org units, positions, personnel numbers).
We are implementing a new ECC 6 instance as a result of a merger which will have a new org structure, the CRM 7 system remains.
My question is has anyone dealt with a similar situation where a new org structure is distributed into an existing CRM or SRM system? Any lessons you could share? Or tips for how to approach this?
