Copy a Group in ACS 4.2 ??

I see no way to copy a group in ACS 4.2. Am I missing something?

I do not have a specific requirement just yet, but this will likely change in a few weeks.
Simply put the detailed requirement is to copy a user group. It either can (or cannot) be done.
More specifically, let's say I've a user group, I've done some configuration to get that group just the way I want it. The users in the group can issue the debug command. I want to create a new group that has the exact configuration EXCEPT the ability to issue the debug command. I would expect I could copy the first group to a new group and then edit the new group so the the debug command is restricted. Is thsi not possible?

No. If you used any upload tools like LSMW, perhaps you may use that for uploading the second controlling area.

How can point single user to multiple groups in ACS

Hi,
we are having almost 150 NDG groups in my ACS Server, in that one group is specifically for Security devices like pix & ASA's.
Now My requirement is that i want to Restrict this Security NDG group to one Specific Group under Group setup menu in ACS.
is it possible in ACS Server.
If it possible how can i point multiple multiple groups to single user.
Because not all users required access to this Security NDG group. only few users require the access.

Give a read to how NAR works, then apply it to the security group on ACS.

Error - Copying Function Group STXW

Friends,
I am trying to copy Function Group STXW into Z_STXW with one function module CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF.
But I am not able to activate the main program SAPLZ_STXW. I get an error 'Field OTF is unknown'. But OTF is an internal table already defined in the function module CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF (I have activated this FM). I also have activated all other includes.
Please resolve. Thanks in advance.

Scenario 1(when you copied only 1 function module).
If you are able to successfully activate, then the problem may be with navigation index not being regenerated correctly. To do that, go to your function module display in SE37. Once inside the source code, in the menu, 'Utilities--> update navigation index' will do the trick.
Scenario 2(where you copied all the function modules)
Here the error is coming because the function module in question has its parameters declared as global. Probably when you copied yours are not. You can check that in attributes tab of the function module. To globalize your function module's parameters, you have to be in change mode. In the menu, 'Edit>Interface> Globalize parameter' will do the trick.

Copying Function group includes

I am facing problem while copying function group. I am copying the function group in SE80 transaction . while copying i am able to copy the function modules in it only . but i need to copy includes in the function group. because i need to edit the code inside the includes. while copying Function group standard includes are there in the Z function group.
Can any one help me out how to copy the includes also.

Copied/pasted group of components lose many properties

(Xcelsius 2008 SP1 FP1 5.1.1.0 (Build 12,1,1,344), Windows XP SP2)
After copying/pasting 120 or so grouped components all at once, the Value, Check box and Toggle components seemed to lose most of their properties. The main container within the group of copied objects is a panel container that included nested groups of labels, rectangles, values, check boxes and toggles.
Specific example: All Value components originally had a title position of "Left" and specific font name/sizes. They also had specific X axis offsets. And of course, each was pointed to a specific spreadsheet cell. The copies, however, reverted to the respective defaults for all properties minus the text of the titles. (This is of course not an exhaustive list of the affected components/properties).
I have already had experience copying smaller groups of components and did not see this effect, so I wonder if there is a threshold of some kind here.

Thank you, Purnima. Despite my fears, copying and pasting smaller groups within the larger nesting appears to be working out pretty well, so this may become a non-issue for me. Nevertheless, it would be great if a future version of Xcelsius would support larger groups within a copy and paste.

Try this, FMS(Formatted Search) Query.
Create 1 UDF in Row Level on Marketing Documents.
->> Goto Tools(Top menu).
->> User-Defined Fields. -> Manage User Fields.
->> Open the Manage User Fields.
->> Clcik the Marketing Documents.
->> Select the Rows Line.
->> Click the Add button in buttom of right.
->> Add the UDF(Item Group Name).
Assign the below FMS in UDF.
->> Administrator.
->> Reports. -> Query Generator.
->> Open the Query Generator and put the below Query and Execute the query then Save as the Query Manager.
->> Open the Document and put the BP code in header.
->> Select the Item Code in row level and Goto UDF then Click Shift + Alt + F2.
->> Select Search by Saved Query and Assign the FMS Query.
->> put the Tick mark the Autofresh and Select When Exiting Alert Columns(right side).
->> Select Autofresh - Item Code.

Analyzer: Copying Report Groups

Hi All, Just trying to figure out how to copy report groups. History: We're in the process of creating a number of analyzer screens for a range of users. One of the issues being we only want them to have a drop down for their cost centres. At the moment they can see all the members in the Cost Centre Dimension when we only want them to see their group. Any thoughts, we're running Analyzer 7.0.1. Thanks in advance. Mark

Hello, I too have a situation like this. We can do the export &import but I was wondering if we can automate this process somehow?like I have atleast 200 groups and in this situation, importing& exporting doesnt seem pretty and efficient. Any ideas how wecan work this out?????????

but i am not been able to make a change in includes because they are not having a prefix "z",
How to copy that includes along with Function groups in my program with 'Z' prefix so that i can make the changes,
I have to make customize transaction zco13 having some changes compare to SAP transaction ZCo13

When you are copying function group to ZCORU you need to also copy all FM's to ZFM's then the includes will also be copied.

ASA WebVPN - restrict access to users in an AD group via ACS

Hi folks.
I'm doing an WebVPN pilot on one of our ASA's (running 7.2.2). Everything is working fine, but I've been asked to restrict access to users that are members of a certain Active Directory group (lets call the group "VPNTEST")
Right now the ASA does radius auth against out ACS 4.x appliance, which has an external database mapping (via the ACS remote agent) to our Windows active directory domain.
Currently there are only two groups in ACS, the Default (which we use for Wireless authentication) and the "Operations" group, which we use for TACACS auth for the network.
I can create a group in ACS that maps to the AD VPNTEST group, but where/how do I restrict WebVPN access to just members of that group? Is it a setting on the ACS or the ASA?

Try using the following to tie users to certain group policies:
Using a RADIUS Server
Using a RADIUS server to authenticate users, assign users to group policies by following these steps:
Step 1 Authenticate the user with RADIUS and use the Class attribute to assign that user to a particular group
policy.
Step 2 Set the class attribute to the group policy name in the format OU=group_name
For example, to set a WebVPN user to the SSL_VPN group, set the RADIUS Class Attribute to a value
of OU=SSL_VPN; (Do not omit the semicolon.)

Copy Account Group

In PCA Master data, I want to copy Account Group from one company code to another code.
Can we copy all the Account Groups at the same time?

Account Group in PCA : TCODE : KDH1is at controlling area level, the account group can be used to all company code which are assigned under one controlling area.
But, while copying the it asks for suffix, that means..it will have seperate copy there you can add or delete the entries.

Copying the group of MIC

Use class 005, and characteristic to define the groups.
Have different values for different MIC from characteristic and you can search this from F4 in MIC filed - MIC for Class
In MIC maintenance just assign the class you have created (classification tab page). Assign the value to characteristic in the class 005.
In MIC field F4, just call the class and it will display characteristic and assign the value to characteristic and click on Find initial class...you will get the MIC assigned and can be copied easily
OR
You can use info fields 1,2,3 but you need to create serrch help(F4)...may be a big work. Above is STD sap search...

Problem copying large groups of files

In attempting to send a backup of my aunt's music, I began dragging her songs out of iTunes and into a folder on my desktop. The first group of 736 songs completed without a problem. But then I tried dragging over another group of ~500 songs and the copy never seemed to take. I looked at the folder and the folder info and they have inconsistent info.

See the link: Get Info says 736 items and the info beneath the folder says 1242. Any ideas how I can fix this?

I rather suspect some sort of corrupt file in your source, but that is a guess (if it behaves the same way each time).
I do not know of any software setting that would cause that behavior.

I´m setting up a form using Acrobat X Pro. When I copy paste fields, they end up in the same field group. Could anyone tell me how to copy groups?
In my case, I would like to copy the answer options from one question, using them as the answer options for the next question.
