Copy a travel variant from another client (not 000)?

We have a situation where some of our configured variants are not in a client, DV2/120 but ARE in DV2/160 and in other evironments (DV3). Is there a way to copy a variant, either with PRCO or another tool, from a client other than itself or 000?

the report RPRMORDE but here is the documentation on the copy function so in this respect I dont think this will fully help in this situation - check it against your requirements though!.
Copy trip provision variant in current client
With this function, you can copy a trip provision variant within the current client.
If the target trip provision variant does not yet exist, you need to enter a description in the logon language.
If the trip provision variant already exists, the system deletes the old entries before copying.

If you are looking for copying users on same server to another client, please follow the below steps:
Logon to target client.
Execute Tcode SCCL. In SCCL choose source client and choose profile SAP_UONL.
Now select "Schedule as a background job"
This will copy only users to your target client.

I want to use directories for storing and iPhoto for viewing. Is this possible or do I need to have all my photo's in iPhoto??

iPhoto is not a Photo Viewer. It's a Photo Manager and designed for looking after the files while you organise the Photos. It really works much better if you let it manage those files. If you use iPhoto you never go near those files because iPhoto is your start point for anything you want to do with your Photos - the point of the pplication.
You can run iPhoto in Referenced mode, where it does not copy the files to the Library, but I caution you that you are making life a lot more difficult for yourself by doing that.

You can do it manually, but it is much simpler if you use a tool such as Back To My Mac, LogMeIn, or something like that. Those programs enable you to connect to your computer through your router without you having to adjust the router settings manually.

CHARM error - No Target system for Normal transport generated from another client

Hi Gurus,
This is regarding normal change. We have two clients in development. (Workbench and Customizing)
We were trying to do Automatic import from development client to Quality. When importing the job, I’m getting an error related to Project Status switch. "you cannot import any request for the project at the moment" It works fine for another development client and we can see the target system in Project status switch.
But, checking the Project Status switch, looks like there’s no Target System defined for Normal transport generated from another client of development.
I attached some screenshots related to this.
Can you please help how to add a target system for another client of development ?

yes, client 110 is present in the task list of the project. yes route is defined because it is working for urgent change

AppleCare Support will charge you $49 (in the U.S.) to troubleshoot a software issue after 90 days. I'm not sure what the charge is in Canada. You could buy an AppleCare Protection Plan (you can anytime within the first year of purchase) and then get free telephone support for software issues, like this.

How to Clear Iphoto and Rebuild from another file, not Iphoto Library?

I have over 7000 images. Some of the Iphoto thumbnails are from my desktop file and some from the DATA file copied into Iphoto. I want to rebuild my thumbnails using all of the pictures on my desk top, not copying them/duplicating into Iphoto. The reason I want to rebuild Iphoto is years ago while copying and moving pictures on another PC the picture data was deleted and the date data of the pics was lost. If I load the images, Iphoto mixes the images up. I have organized all the pics on my desktop into folders by month and year. When I tried to rebuild, old photos show up again so I deleted the original Data (photos) in Iphoto and after rebuilding they reappeared with many images just black boxes. I was expecting a blank page so I could start to build the thumbnails from my desktop folders.
How do I get a blank screen/no images in Iphoto? Select all the images and drag to trash? To be safe I have all my pictures saved on 2 ext hard drives. Also can a select a group (i.e. by month) and change all the date info at one time?

It’s difficult to advise you because you’re using non-standard terms. I’m worried that if I misunderstood something that I might give you a bum steer.
Some general principles: Don’t “clear iPhoto”. Instead make a new Library: Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'.
When you have this new Library working you can delete the old one.
In general, if you have a Folder of images and you drag them to the Source (or left-hand) Pane in iPhoto the pics will be imported and a new Album and Roll will be created. This may help.

I have no idea why you would want thumbnails. Surely you want the full sized files? What’s a desktop file? Do you mean Desktop Folder?, also what’s a DATA file?

Here’s a really good general principle:
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.

all info you see in ME1P is coming from purchasing documents, not just from info records.
if you want the history in a new client, then you would need to migrate the old POs.
for migration you can use LSMW

What should work:
Select the photos you want to share
File -> Export and export them to a folder on the desktop. Burn that to the disk with the Finder.

My environment is Business Objects XI 3.1 SP2 Edge series , i have below quereis with web Intelligence Reports
1. not available the functions/options Results from another Query(Any) or Results from another Query(ALL) at Query Level.
2. not getting list of Values for pronpt until i refresh values for prompt?
Please suggest me is there any fix packs available for the same to availle that functionality.

There is option called "Automatic refresh before use" for the object properties available in the universe designer.
Please check the box for the object you are using for populating the list of values and export the universe.

There is a limitation for the query on query functionality that the both the queries can-not be from the OLAP universe.
I guess the query which needs to be filtered should be built on universe from the relational data base.

I have a requirement where I have to use a search help available in another client in one of my input parameters on a selection screen.
My report is in SRD system but the search help is in ECC.
The search help is actually PRPM <== Matchcode for WBS elements

Well, the reason being...they want to use PRPM because they would like to allow users to search for the WBS element as well as filter by Person Responsible.

Transporting variants from development client to testing client(ECC6.0)

Can we use the report RSTRANSP for transporting variants(data for testing purposes) for a standard program from development client to testing client?

Hi,
Follow like this.
In SE38, give ur program name.... select the variant radio button & click on diaply button & then press F4 for variant field & choose the variant u want to transport...
Then goto Utilities --> transport request . now execute the report select ur variant name & click on continue button .. now it will ask for the CR number ...assign it to the particular CR number & Release & Import in the Quality Server.

Program translation - Copy field captions etc. from another language

Dear experts,
implementing translations for ABAP programs can be very annoying. Is it possible that screen field captions etc. are displayed in English, if no translation for the users logon language can be found. Or is it possible to copy all English texts to another language instead of copy everything text by text?

Abhishek Jolly gave you idea how to copy texts, so I will explain how to use English text for field labels even no translation exists for it.
For this you need to use input/output fields as labels:
- go to screen layout
- replace all the labels you have with input fields
- now for each such input field go to its attributes and choose option Output only . This way you input fields will behave like normal output fields but will look alike to Text field (label)
- go to program and create corresponding (same named) data objets for all fields
- then in some program point (i.e. in PBO) set your input fields like
inp_field = 'First field'(001).
- double click on 001 and text symbol will be created with same text ('First field')
- do the same for all the fields
- activate your texts and run program in different language. You will see same text as you set in EN.

Home sharing and trying to copy song from another library not working.

Trying to copy or drag a song from one library to another in the new Itunes 11.0 is not intuitive. The Help comments suggest there is a show button "at bottom of itunes" that will display "songs not in my library" but I don't see that. Anyone else have a clue?

If you want the old way of copying and dragging, you can enable the sidebar by going to View > Show Sidebar from the menu.
Without the sidebar, you can still copy by mounting your Home Share (although, it's not dragging) and select the item you want to copy and click Import at the bottom bar on the right.
