Copy all outgoing emails to some address. Possible?

I need to copy all of the emails I write at work to gmail so that I can access them at home. "Bcc me" feature doesn't work for me because emails needs to be copied to a different email address. Rules are not applied to outgoing mail.
Is there any way how I can do this?

There is an alternative way to accomplish what you want that may or may not be preferable to what you've done. You can setup your account in Mail so that it uses Gmail's SMTP server instead. This will cause Gmail to save your message in its Sent mailbox on the server.
In order to be able to use Gmail's SMTP server using another address, you must first enable that address in your Gmail Settings > Accounts page, and let Gmail validate it by verifying that you do indeed own it.
The only drawback of doing this is that, although the message received will appear as having been sent from your non-Gmail address (i.e. Gmail won't change the From header if that address has been enabled in Gmail's Settings > Accounts page), anyone looking at the full headers would be able to see that it was actually sent from Gmail and what your Gmail address is.

How do I copy all the email addresses in my Address Book quickly so that I can email a change of address?

From the Address Book help file:
Notify contacts when your vCard changes
When you change your contact information, you can send a group email message to your contacts. The message contains your updated vCard and a message from you.
    1. If you don’t have a group of addresses, create one.
    2. Choose File > Send Updates.
    3. In the Send Updates dialog, select one or more groups to notify. If some contacts in the group have multiple email addresses, you can choose which address to use.
    4. Type a subject title and a message, and then click Send.

  • HT1277 I would like to remove my photo from all outgoing email on my IMac computer. Can anyone tell me a way to do this? Thank you.

I would like to remove my photo from all outgoing emails on my IMac. Could someone help? Thanks.

I am guessing that you are referring to the image that Mail puts next to the headers - this is what is in your Address Book, and is just there for convenience.  Your photo is not sent with any message unless you attach it via a file or otherwise include it in the message contents.

  • IMS5.1 copy all outgoing mail to one mailbox

Is there a way to copy all outgoing messages at the server level to one particular mailbox?
    Thank you in advance.

Could you use an mta wide sieve filter that would forward a copy and keep a copy in the imap folder?
    i.e.
If you want to keep a copy on the imap-server you can specify an explicit keep:
    redirect "[email protected]";
    keep;

  • All Outgoing Emails Marked as SPAM

As of today, the primary PC we have used for years for our main .net account has all outgoing email marked as spam and blocked. Even single addressee, no content emails are bounced back as SPAM. I can still receive on the primary PC, and still send from other devices with the same account. I have deleted and re-added the account on the PC to make sure the server and port settings are current to no avail. Any thoughts on what might have happened?

As stated in the Spam FAQ page, you will not get any response when sending the message to [email protected] for review. You attach the message that you are unable to send, and they review it. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the filter will either be updated to allow the content that was previously blocked, or it will be determined to be a legitimate block and no changes will be made.
Some troubleshooting steps you can try:
If you have a signature, try removing one line at a time from it and attempting to send the message again. Some signatures look like "ads" to the filters, apparently.
If you are using a pop3 client (Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.) try sending your message from the verizon.net website. If this resolves the issue, then it is something that your client is adding to the message that is causing it to be blocked.
If the Subject line of your message has a whole bunch of "Fwd: Fwd: Re: Fwd:" try removing some of them.
Remove any links/URLs from the email one at a time to isolate if one of them is causing the block.
Some people have suggested sending the message to [email protected] for investigation. This may work for you as well.

  • Adding Corporate E-Mail Disclaimer to all outgoing email

I need to configure our mail server to add an E-Mail disclaimer to all outgoing email. Can someone point me to the relevant documenation or assist me with this request.
We are running Sun Messaging Server 6.1 HotFix 0.11.
I should state that I am a novice with Messaging server.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You can start here:
    http://blogs.sun.com/factotum/entry/messaging_server_and_email_disclaimers
Also note the version of messaging server you are running is extremely old, you should be looking/planning to upgrade in the near future. Version 6.3 adds milter capabilities, which if you were running this version the following document would be relevant to your request:
    http://msg.wikidoc.info/index.php/Add_Footer_to_All_Outgoing_Mail
I should also add that Messing Server is not for the faint-of-heart (it's complex) so I recommend you try and get some training on the basics at least.
    Regards,
    Shane.

  • How can I export (just copy all of email sent) all emails from outlook 2001

    Hi,
I have a macbook pro 10.8.4 and I would like to know how to copy all of emails that were sent from my outlook 2011. Please help ..

    Hi daviddonald!
I believe that the best option for getting your email into the Mail program will be by exporting your email from Outlook as an .mbox format, and then importing that into mail. An article about completing this procedure can be found right here:
Mac OS X Mail: How to transfer downloaded email from a non-Mac computer
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1534
If you are just transitioning from using Outlook on your Mac to using Mail on your Mac, then you will want to ignore the parts of that article that deal with transferring the .mbox file to another computer. Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

  • Have copied all my emails to my new MacBook but cannot 'see' them!

I thought I was doing this the right way, but obviously I'm missing something ...
I wanted to copy all my emails in my gmail account from my iMac to my new MacBook. In Finder I went to Users/Tricia/Library/Mail/POP-myemailaddress and copied the entire folder. I also copied the Mailboxes folder and the Mail Downloads folder. I then pasted these folders into the same location on my MacBook.
When I check in Finder all the folders, mailboxes and emails are there, however, when I open Mail my Gmail account is empty, as are all the mailboxes 'On My Mac'.
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong here? I've re-done this action several times and it's simply not working. I have been able to successfully copy my entire Gmail account between Macs before using this method.
    I'm very perplexed!
    Tricia

Hi Chris, thanks for your prompt response. I did as you suggested, however, it resulted in my Inbox just having my MobileMe account in Mail - my Gmail account doesn't show up in the Inbox area at all.
Under 'On My Mac' all my Gmail mailboxes that I'd set up are there but, as before, they're all empty.
I've repaired disk permissions and can't think of what else to do.
I'm going to Italy tomorrow for 4 months and wanted to have all my emails from my Gmail account show up in Mail. Looks like that's not going to happen!
    cheers
    Tricia

  • Dislaimer for all outgoing mails, excepting some domains?

I'm still trying to add a Disclaimer to all outgoing mails. Actually, I need some help to add such a Disclaimer to nearly all outgoing mails, excepting some specific domains and for the right syntax:
I know that I can add a message filter with the action 'add-footer' through CLI like this:
if (recv listener == "OutboundMail" AND (not only-body-contains ('some unique text from my company disclaimer'),1)
    {add-footer('name of previously in GUI added dislcaimer-text');}
    else
    { deliver();}
    My questions:
    a) How can I prevent such a Disclaimer for every recipient in the domain "@company-without-disclaimer.com"?
    b) How should I write that for multiple recipient-domains without disclaimer?
    c) Is it important to write the listener-name and the disclaimer-name in the above code with ' (single quote) or " (double quotes)?
    d) Are the brace brackets {} set correct?
    e) Should I enter the entire disclaimer-text for the body-scan? I'm not sure if our actually one is 'unique' - maybe other companies has the same or a very similar one. Should I add multiple parts to looking for? How do you do that?
Thank you for every help in advance!

I can't figure out how to add the NOT-command.
It works for me as written in my previous example.
And could you please tell me something to my other questions c), d) and e)?
"C" and "d" are very basic questions documented in the "Message Filters" section of the Advanced User Guide. Single or double quotes are both fine. The curly braces are probably OK as you've written them, but putting whitespace around them might be necessary (the docs don't say).
As for the disclaimer text, that's hard to get perfect. It depends on your threat model. If you just want to be reasonably well assured that it gets put in, then pick out some bit of the disclaimer that is unlikely to appear elsewhere and check for that. But if you want to make sure that your own people can't spoof the process by embedding that bit in a message in order to avoid getting the disclaimer (not a likely threat in my opinion), then you'd need to check for the whole thing. Depending on how long it is, it might be safer to check for it piecemeal rather than all at once. I really can't say since I've never tried this. Or you could just add the footer unconditionally. At worst, you'd only end up with multiple instances of the footer in some messages, and it would only be in those messages which pass through your ESA more than once.

  • Add email disclaimer to all outgoing email

Is there a way to add an email disclaimer to every outgoing email on the server level, not the mail.app signatures?

If you search the forum, you'll likely find my several rants on this subject.
Please do, as I'm not going to repeat the entire thing.
Basically, if you can gurantee that all messages are straight text, you can add a disclaimer, but if not, then it's just not possible.
Messages are far more complex than in years past. Adding a standard footer is something far better done by the mail client, as the client assembles the message. The server's job is to transfer the assembled message. Adding a part to the message would be very cpu intensive, and would require you to disassemble all the parts, create the new part, and reassemble it all.
Of course, this doesn't even begin to address question of, "are disclaimers of any use", either. That answer is typically, "no".

  • Why I can't send emails to some address and also i...

    Hello!
Why I can't send  email using my ovi mail account to some email address and also i can't send email using Thunderbird? So what is the problem?
I can't send email to any address using Mozilla Thunderbird. Every time show "Login to server mail.ovi.com failed." but Thunderbird download my ovi account email without any problem. how do i fix this error. I don't know where to post this matter!

Yahoo has messed with their stuff lately (honestly they've been messing with their servers for months)
One thing would be if you guys wanted to use the yahoo mail app, or there have been other users posting solutions that they say work for them
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/27906475?ac_cid=tw123456#27906475
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/27894621?ac_cid=tw123456#27894621
These have applied to people not able to get mail but changing the settings may help you and your wife. (My yahoo is still working so I haven't needed to try any of these)
I've noticed with my Yahoo that they've changed their login protocols. For example 'stay signed in' is always clicked and the push is for people to merge multiple accounts to access their multiple yahoo from one account/sign in instead of signing out/in to access different accounts. I'm wondering if that change is what's messing with the protocols needed for iOS mail to work. But no one really knows for sure (and neither Apple or Yahoo will comment on the issue)
About all users can do is find work arounds that work for them.
If these don't work or if you don't want to use the yahoo mail app, you might try using safari to go to yahoo.com and access your mail that way.

  • Auto save a copy of outgoing email in SharePoint 2010

    Hi,
I need to save a copy of an outgoing email from SharePoint Server 2010. So is there any option in SharePoint to save a copy as audit or do we need to write custom thing for this? Any idea how to achieve this .  pls share your thougths  if you done
this before or any ideas about solution approach also great help.

One thing to note - there's a limit if you are using SharePoint Designer workflow to send the original email - it cannot email back to another SharePoint email-enabled list. You are  'protected' from yourself.
We had an instance where I needed data to cross site boundaries in a site collection, and I had to do it through workflow. So our 'hack' was to email another Exchange mailbox set up specifically to relay emails. That mailbox had a rule to forward the email
    back into SharePoint.
Terribly clumsy but it works. A SharePoint workflow email cc's the Exchange mailbox, which then forwards the email back to an email-enabled discussion list used as an email store.

  • All outgoing email suddenly failing

    Hi
Our server today developed an odd fault. As far as i'm aware we've done nothing our end to change anything, but suddenly, about lunchtime today, all our outgoing SMTP email failed. What i'm getting in the SMTP log is
Mar 3 23:19:12 serverx postfix/smtp[14104]: connect to mx4.hotmail.com[65.54.245.104]: Operation timed out (port 25)

etc etc... for each email in the queue.
Only thing i know is that today our supplier changed from one network supplier to another. They said that all we need to change is our DNS IPs and the name of their SMTP relay in the 'relay outgoing mail through host' box in SA. However this started before i'd changed those fields, and changing them to the correct ones makes no difference.
All incoming email works and emails internal to the network work fine.
I have someone from the network supplier phoning me tomorrow to have a chat and see if we can decide if it's their end or ours, but i thought i'd just put this out there to see if anyone's had a similar problem or could at least let me know what usually causes the 'operation timed out' error i have.
    Thanks
    Rob Kettridge

  • Can I use iCloud to copy all the emails from the iPhone to Windows Live Mail on my PC?

My Windows 8 OS got trashed and I had to "refresh" it which involved losing all my Windows Live Mail emails (i.e. *.eml files in %AppData%). I have a backup from 18 months ago and most of my recent emails are on my phone.
Is there a way I can copy (en masse) the emails from my iPhone to my Windows Live Mail on my PC?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Subject and sender is copied from prevous email on some emails

    Hi
On some emails the Subject and Sender name is from another email received at the same time. This is totally random, does not happen all the time. I have included screenshots from two emails of the most recent recevied email with this error.
We have 4 computers and we all have the same IMAP account on every computer but this happens randomly on the computers. One may receive the cloned subject and sender while the others will not. This has happened randomly on all 4 computers. When checking on the web-mail they all appeare correctly.

Sounds like this might be an indexing issue.
right click on folder and select 'Properties'.
    click on 'REpair folder'
    Click on OK
Refresh the Folder Pane by selecting another folder and then reselecting the repaired folder
