I 'Copy & Paste' from within Firefox quite often but for some reason the function has stopped working when using some sites, even the menu item 'Paste' is greyed out, yet I can open Notepad and 'Paste'. I tried pasting into 'Notepad' then copying from Notepad and pasting back into Firefox, which I've found in the past sometimes works but today even that does not work. I accept it may not actually be a Firefox problem but I have noticed since upgrading to the latest version, I am having several problems with crashing and hanging exceedingly long execution of the browser.

Windows XP can't import video files larger than 500 MB using Camera and Scanner Wizard. You can transfer these files from your device by selecting them in My Computer and dragging or copying the files to your computer's hard drive.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

The iPad is not a cellular telephone. So "texts" that are sent using the cellular network's SMS text message system cannot go to or from your iPad.
The only text-like messages your iPad can handle are iMessages. iMessages can only be sent to or from Apple devices and only while both are either on WiFi or a cellular network that supports iMessaging (not all do).

Used Bootcamp to install Windows 7. Now, my macbook pro 13 mid 2009 will not boot back into OSX, there is no Bootcamp utilities like there should be anywhere to be found, and the DVD drive will not recognize the OSX install disk that came with my laptop.

Basically all in the title. Also, some additional info: partition was 115 GBs for Windows, 385 or whatever for OSX (I have a 500 GB Harddrive), I have tried restarting multiple times, and the drive will recognize the DVD, but almost as if the DVD is blank, as it asks me to format it or drag files to it, etc.

Hold your "Option" key down while starting your machine. Continue to hold it down until you are presented with the boot menu which should allow you to select either OS X or Windows (provided you didn't somehow wipe your OS X partition). When you get into OS X, you can go to System Preferences / Startup Disk. Here you can select the default startup partition (OS X or Windows)... when you're installing Windows via BootCamp, it gets changed to Windows so when you finish setting up BootCamp, it automatically reboots and launches the Windows installer. Installing all of the Windows drivers from the OS X DVD should provide you with a Startup Disk option under Windows as well.

Music and Apps will NOT sync back on updated iPod! HELP?!

So I've just currently updated both my iTunes and my iPod 4th gen. My music is on my computer in iTunes, but when I go to my music on my iPod, it's not there. I have tried syncing it multiple times, but it won't work, and when I restarted my iPod and tried syncing it again, it still fails to add my music to my iPod! Anyone have an idea as to why this is? Please help!

The same thing is happening with mine. Went to the Verizon store ... said it was a faulty battery. Low and behold none of the stores in my area even had a battery in stock. Have had to wait 5 days for it to come in the mail. Cost me over $30!!!!!! Anyway ... after about 15 min.of the rep trying different things, the phone finally came on .... barely. He told me to keep it plugged in. It actually started working fine for almost a week ... now its doing it again. Battery came today .. gonna give it a try. Apparently this is an issue with ALOT of people with this phone. WHY DOESN'T VERIZON ADDRESS IT!?
Makes me rethink my choices when my contract is up in February. May do some shopping for a different carrier! I have been a Verizon customer for forever ... you would think they would make this right!

iOS 6 and below : double-click the home button to open the taskbar; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar
iOS 7 : swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open control centre and it's the right-most of the 5 icons in the middle of it (if the icon is white then it's 'on', tap it to turn it grey and 'off').
So to have both mute and rotation 'off' you need to have both the switch on the side of your iPad 'off', and the icon on taskbar/control centre 'off'

For about 2 weeks I have been unable to leave feedback on ebay. Firefox brings up login page but will not accept password. I am having the same problem with my yahoo email. It will not accept my passwords, so I have to use IE to login to these accounts.

On yahoo email, it accepted my login id, but not password. This started on one account about two weeks ago. Today when I tried to login to another yahoo email, which worked yesterday, but it would not accept my password on this account.
I bought some items on ebay and wanted to leave feedback. When I clicked on the leave feedback button a sign in window appeared, this should not have happened, when I tried to sign in, it would not accept my password. I called ebay and was told they have had many complaints from customers using firefox when trying to leave feedback. The help desk suggested I try with Internet Explorer, I did, and it worked perfectly.
I have been using firefox for a long time and really do not want to go back to IE, but when I cannot sign into my accounts, I can't, so I will have to use IE.
As far as I know, no new programs have been installed on this computer.

T61 Cut off in middle of working and will not come back on

I have a T61p that was working fine, then just cut off. It was plugged into power outlet. It will not come back on, or display any lights. I have tried the 10 power button pushes, last for 30 secs several times now and it does not have an effect. I have pulled the drives out and the memory also.
Any other help?

So the power light is still there, but the laptop doesn't come on, does the HDD drive spin up when you press the power button?
Do you have warranty still? If not you can still get a post warranty warranty extension by calling lenovo, and get the laptop fixed.
Was your laptop overheating or doing weird stuff before this event occurred?
