Copy and paste error — Text pastes at half-size.
When I copy and paste text already in my photoshop document, the text retains the styling but the text size is exactly half of what it should be.
I'm using the most recent version of CS6. Thanks!

Ok, I found the issue.

The text box was transformed by 200%, while other text boxes are at 100%. So when you copy a 200% into a 100% it's half. Makes no sense that this is a feature.

I am having a strange problem. When I apple-C some text, then apple-V it into a browser or worddoc, rather than pasting the text I just copied, it pastes the text I had previously copied, the last time I hit apple-C. So, it is as if it forgets/ignores that I just hit apple-C...

I am experiencing it not on my laptop, but on a coworkers Powerbook G4 running OS X 10.4.6.

Try this, navigate to ~(yourHome)/Library/Caches and drag that folder to the desktop. Then restart or log out and back in.

CANNOT COPY AND PASTE MAPPINGS IN OWB REPOSITORY

I was trying to copy and paste mapping HR_APP_H_APPR_DEL_OLD_ETKS_T12 from module DMRH_DWH into the same module. I could copy but when pasting, the following error happened (translated from Spanish into English): "Error in line 4.824: Error in Repository: Error in insertion. .: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kcbrls_1], [], [], [], [], [], [], []". I exit the application and start it again, follow the same steps and the same error happened. I have sent the screenshot of the error. I have also run OWB in batch mode, and I have attached out.log and error.log files, where it can be seen the error.

I use the copy and paste stlye function frequently so added the icons to the toolbar. It seems that these buttons function only as copy/paste paragraph style rather than text style. Has anyone discovered a way to change their behavior? Dave

have you tried the key combos Shift-Option-Command-C (Copy) and Option-Command-V (Paste) instead of the toolbar icons?

There are a range of different kinds of forms. For example, this site uses very simple controls that don't automatically convert Word's formatting to an online format. The site where you are trying to paste your resume probably works differently.
What methods have you tried using to paste? Typically one of these will work:
* Ctrl+v
* right-click > Paste
* Edit > Paste (from the menu)
Some sites offer their own buttons to paste, but for security/privacy reasons, Firefox usually disables those.

How to copy and paste into the same picture using quick selection tool

I have Photoshop CS5 and am new at this. What I need to do is copy and paste something in the image back into the same image. I can select it with the quick selection tool. All I want to do is paste a copy of it back into my image, move it and rotate it a little.
I've searched for an answer for a couple of days now and evidently, I'm searching for the wrong thing. This is what I need to do and I don't know how to get there. I do this in Digital Image Suite all the time and it's very simple. I know Photoshop is a lot more complicated but you can do more with it so I am trying to switch by using it to work on my projects. I've read articles where people say to use the quick selection tool and do a copy and paste but for me, all it does is add blank layer and the selection disappears. If I paste again, it pastes the item in the middle of the image and I can't move it or change it in any way.
One more question: in the Filters menu, all of the filters are gray-shaded. I read that I have to buy these filters, is that true?

Once you have a selection, I use Ctrl C to copy and Ctrl V to paste. This will add a layer but may not look like it as it is in exactly the same spot in picture. If you paste again it will show up near middle of picture.
If you want to resize and rotate use Ctrl T.
More options are in Edit/Transform. I particularly like Warp.
All the filters should be active, but many only work in 8 bit RGB mode. To see what mode they are in click Image/Mode.

ok, i am going to apologize in advance, I am a new Mac user and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do a simple copy and paste since there appears to be no right click functionality with the mouse. i have tried help topics in Word for Mac but it does not seem to address the issue, I did a search for "copy and paste" but nothing came up that was helpful in the search results. at some point in time i will go to an apple store and take a course but as most of you know time is at a premium!

The Mac has the best User Interface for casual Users anywhere. To get started, Choose Copy from the Edit Menu in every Application, and use Paste from the Edit menu in every Application. Make sure that is working the way you expect.
Once you get used to the way it is supposed to work, look at those items on the menu for their keyboard Shortcuts, and substitute the Shortcut to speed up your work.

We have a java based web product in which we have enter metadata of a PDF file and upload that file on server with metadata. Now I want to disable save a copy, print, copy and save as text options. Is there any API avaliable please help me i am in deep trouble.

Hi,
This is not possible AFAIK. These features are specific to the browser and you don't have any control over them. If you want to stop people
from being able to copy/print your data then you might want to consider the following
* don't make it available in the first place
* make it available in another form
* make only some of it available (i.e. what the user needs)
