Copy and paste from a word document to calendar?

hello, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to store/view a word document on an iphone as well as be able to copy text from that doc & paste it to a calendar event? thanks!

It is a generated pdf doc. I can highlight the text, but as soon as I let go of the mouse button, the highlighting disappears. If I right-click the mouse, there is no copy/past option. Only a select, zoom and marque tool option.

Copying and pasting is not usually a good idea. Try using the "place" command to place your external files or documents into InDesign. Nevertheless, you should be able to copy text from Word or other programs with no problem. How are you doing it exactly? Try to do it not only with keyboard shortcuts, but using the actual "copy" and "paste" menus on both programs.

Copying and Pasting Form into Word Document

I am new to formcentral. I am having a hard time copying and pasting a COMPLETED form into word. Everytime I try, I can see the form questions but the actual filled out responses to the form are blank in the word document. I have also tried to "export" from Adobe into a word document and that also is blank. Any suggestions?

When I copy and paste single-spaced text from MS Word into the body of an email message in Apple Mail, it pastes in as double spaced text. Does anyone know of a fix for this? I can't seem to find how to change line spacing in Apple Mail. Thanks.

hi, had the same issue
went into the word doc, removed all tabs (even if not using tabs there were some hidden) and paragraph formatting and it pasted in fine... my doc was a single paragraph...
BUT having fixed that I found another doc which underlines the text when pasting it into mail!!!! havn;t solved that!

Quotes change after been copied and pasted from a pdf document

Why do objects get bigger when I copy and paste from one Keynote document to another?

I have 2 keynote presentation files open. I select some objects on one slide, apple-C to copy, go over to a blank slide in another file, and apple-V to paste. The item(s) get pasted but are much bigger - they take up way more of the new slide than they did for the old one. What am I missing? Why can't I copy it with the same relative size it used to have?

Chances are that small file used to be a PowerPoint file - PowerPoint deals in inches instead of pixels (which blows my mind).
I would first convert the smaller file to a larger resolution - that should keep most of the scaling intact - and then copy and paste. In my opinion you'll probably have to re-polish your presentation once you've changed the resolution as some things will probably be a bit wonky.

How do I copy and paste from Word into Adobe Photoshop Elements 13

using Windows 7 Professional SP1, Microsoft Office 365 (Office 2013).
I can copy the text within a word document, without a problem.
However, the paste options are greyed out and "Ctrl"+"V" does not work.
Am I missing something, as I can't work out how to copy the text from word, to use as a basis for my photo shop document.

Cannot copy and paste from Word into Mail

I cannot copy and paste from Word into Mail. Neither from using the keyboard shortcuts, or using the Menu function. I can copy and paste from other applications into Mail- but for some reason, text copied from a Word document (both in .txt and .doc formats) will not paste into an open email. Anyone else have this issue? It's a new issue. I used to be able to do this easily.

I had similar issues starting about the same time or within the past week. However, I can copy and paste, it just takes considerably longer than it used to before. Copying something from a web page into Word could take up to 30 seconds now on my computer but it shows a busy mouse pointer while it is loading, then clicks/pops when it loads into the Word document, but then actually takes about another 5 to 10 seconds to appear in the Word document. I have no idea why it is delaying now when it did not do it before, but since it is still going into the document I am living with it for now. Are you waiting long enough to see if it appears?

Trying to copy and paste from word

Hi. I've copied fifteen pages from a Word document, and I'd like to paste the whole thing into an InDesign Document with the text automatically flowing all the way to the end - just looking for simple full page rectangular text areas - nothing fancy. I'd watched a tutorial that said you could automatically have the text flow into the text areas while generating as many new pages as were necessary so all of the text could be displayed.
I've tried a number of ways of accomplishing this without success. The closest I've come is to get all of the pages to flow in but only on one side of the two page spread I set up in my Master A template.
Could someone explain the correct way to do this?

Based on your description, you have text frames on your master pages. Have you done this because of other elements of the design on the page? If not, you can do without them (text frames on the master). InDesign will automatically create text frames as needed to hold the text.
If your design requires the text frames on the master, then you need to ensure that your text frames are threaded from the left to the right side of the master in order to get the text to flow across the spread. Otherwise, it treates each side of the master spread as an independent thread.
When you have your loaded cursor, ready to paste, hold the SHIFT key to get the text to autoflow.

When I copy and paste from Word to my e-mail using Firefox it changes the font and spacing to single and 10pt. It just started doing this a month ago. It does not do it when I am on my laptop or using Explorer. Help, I hate explorer.

If this were a project that I was involved in, I would recapture the media at the correct frame rate and rebuild the sequences correctly.
Moving from production, to post production, to delivery is a series of steps, and the success of any particular step is based on having all the preceding steps done correctly.
Shortcuts and workarounds tend to create awkward and difficult problems, that often only surface late in the process.
