Copy and paste from Firefox comes out in fractions?

I have my default font set as Arial in Mail but if I copy a url from Firefox it pastes it in as Helvetica Fractions.
Any ideas?
I'm using the latest versions of both Mail and Firefox

Get rid of the font Helvetica Fractions from your machine. It's not compatible with OS X Cocoa apps.

I cannot copy and paste from Word 2007 into Firefox (gmail), and I cannot copy and paste from Firefox (URLs) into a word document.

Starting two days ago, I can no longer copy and paste between Firefox and Word 2007. I can copy within each program.

I had similar issues starting about the same time or within the past week. However, I can copy and paste, it just takes considerably longer than it used to before. Copying something from a web page into Word could take up to 30 seconds now on my computer but it shows a busy mouse pointer while it is loading, then clicks/pops when it loads into the Word document, but then actually takes about another 5 to 10 seconds to appear in the Word document. I have no idea why it is delaying now when it did not do it before, but since it is still going into the document I am living with it for now. Are you waiting long enough to see if it appears?

I cannot copy and paste text from a website displayed in Firefox 3.5 into Dreamweaver. I can copy and paste URIs from the address bar fine. I have Dreamweaver CS3 on Mac OS X 10.4.

Can't copy and paste from Firefox 22.0 anymore other than ctrl c & v

Normally I would select/wrap text in Firefox and right click and choose copy from the top of menu, click and go to Word,Notepad etc. and go to paste but nothing there paste item in menu greyed out.
It works ok ctrl v and c but is frustrating because the built-in function is so much cleaner

jimmy-d & Ace42, I think it's unacceptable that you have to suffer thru this annoying bug.
Please download Firefox 21 (the working version before this one):

And continue to use that one until this problem is resolved.
Although I do ask that you guys help me out by telling me exactly what antivirus software you have installed and what version number it is and if you have any other famous/popular programs running in the system tray (the area of little icons to the left of the clock in the taskbar). Like Skype, Advanced System Care 5 from IOBIT software, CCleaner, etc.
Also if you could check to see if any of you have any extensions appearing in the Addons area. To get there, click the Firefox button then '''Help > Troubleshooting Information'''. Then click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste it here to this thread however you can, right-click > Paste or Ctrl+V. Hopefully that will work.

How do I preserve a website's fonts when I copy and paste from Firefox into Word?

I often paste copy from websites when I am researching. In Safari, the fonts and font sizes of the copy are preserved, but when I do it in Firefox, they are changed to the same size of Verdana. I prefer the fonts to be retained from the websites, but I can't get Firefox to do this.

If you drag a link or favicon on the left end of the location bar onto the desktop to create an internet shortcut then that shortcut gets the icon of the default browser. 
If you want a different icon (favicon) then you have to assign that icon yourself to the desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties). 
You can usually get the favicon if you append "favicon.ico" to the main domain of a website (e.g. http://www.mozilla.com/favicon.ico ) to display the favicon in a tab and save that image to a folder or see if you can find it in "Tools > Page Info > Media".

If this were a project that I was involved in, I would recapture the media at the correct frame rate and rebuild the sequences correctly.
Moving from production, to post production, to delivery is a series of steps, and the success of any particular step is based on having all the preceding steps done correctly.
Shortcuts and workarounds tend to create awkward and difficult problems, that often only surface late in the process.

Why can't I copy and paste from google seach history with firefox 4

When I try and copy and paste from Google drop down search box nothing happens. Only happen with Firefox 4. I tried to roll back to 3.6 but every time i reboot it puts 4 back

Previous attempts to resolve the issue
a. have reset keyboard preferences
b. have shut down and restarted twice
c. have shut down and restarted in safe mode, then restarted to clear cache
Learning: Appears to be just for browser software.
To reproduce:
1. Go into Safari or Firefox, select the URL or any text in the window, press CMD+C.
2. Go to Word/Text Edit/Evernote or open a new tab in the browser and press CMD+V
3. Nothing happens

Long press on the text you would like to select (tapping and holding) and then release after the magnifying glass shows up. This will select a single word. Then use the blue dots and drag them to select a region of test. Then press "copy". Open pages, and long press and release where you would like to paste. Then select "paste". That should paste the text.
If the text doesn't select within the browser, it might be an uncopyable format. Like if the text was within an image, naturally you would be unable to select it. The only thing to do there is long press the image and selecting "save image", adding it to your camera roll. Then you could insert the image within pages.

After highlighting something on a web page by left-click and dragging the mouse, you can go to Firefox button (or File) > Edit. Hover your mouse pointer over the 3 images to the right of Edit for a tooltip (scissors = cut, two pages = copy, clipboard = paste) or click the arrow to the far right of Edit for a drop-down, non-icon list of the functions available.
In Windows you can also right-click (without moving the mouse pointer around) the highlighted text, then choose Copy. On the document, email, etc., that you are copying to, you can use right-click, then choose Paste.

How do I copy and paste from Word into Adobe Photoshop Elements 13

using Windows 7 Professional SP1, Microsoft Office 365 (Office 2013).
I can copy the text within a word document, without a problem.
However, the paste options are greyed out and "Ctrl"+"V" does not work.
Am I missing something, as I can't work out how to copy the text from word, to use as a basis for my photo shop document.

Trying to shuffle around the rows as part of an everchanging schedule. When i copy and paste from one spreadsheet to the other, the images overlay each other as if i were litterally cutting them out of paper and then sloppily pasting to another. Is there a way to set them up so crosscutting is more seamless in appearance?

JRC,
The reason you get that result is that you are pasting the rows to the canvas of your second document instead of into an existing table.
Instead, make a large blank table in your receiving document and paste into that table only after clicking on the cell where you want the first cell of the copied data to be positioned.
