Copy-and-paste table row results in hang in Contribute 6.5 Mac

Am running Adobe Contribute 6.5 for Mac on OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion.
Cannot copy-and-paste a table row from one page to another without having Contribute hang. Get spinning multi-colored beach ball and have to eventuall Force Quit Contribute.
This worked correctly in Contribute 3 on OS X 10.7.x Lion.
Any suggestions? Any Adobe engineers who have seen this behavior?

Cannot Copy and Paste Tables

When I copy and paste a table from Numbers it does not appear correctly, and is not even recognized as a table in keynote. I cannot access changes through the Table Inspector. I am also trying to link a chart with a table (from Numbers), and when I paste the chart in Keynote, I do not get the LINKED notification . HELP! I did the exact same steps as shown in a video tutorial. I am using Keynote 09.

This issue might be caused by her user profile. What the result would be if using another user account to log on her computer to test this issue.
Also do you have the same problem when you open excel in Safe Mode?
Try opening Excel without any Add-ins or hidden workbooks:
Press and hold the CTRL key, and then click the excel program.

How do i copy and paste selected rows from numbers to another numbers worksheet

I have asked this question before, but it sounds as if numbers did not have the update at that time. I have pasted a spreadsheet from excel into numbers. I would now like to take selected rows, for example, row 5, row 9, row 22, row 27, etc, copy these entire rows, and pastte into another blank numbers work sheet. In excel, one can hold down the ctrl key, and click on each row they want to copy, and all will be copied in one operation, Than you can paste into a new excel work sheet. I have tried this on my ipad 2 many times, holding down the command key, and tapping on each row I want to copy. I just cannot get this to work. Please let me know how to do this, if numbers even has this possible. Thanks.

Command Key.... on ipad? Ddint know there was one.
As for copying non-continuous ranges, cannot be done on ipad at this time. On a desktop maybe, but i cannot test it right now.
Each row can be done individually, or you could sort the rows to grab the range you want. To do this (espeically if there is nothing that is unique about them), just make a new column and place a 1 in the cell for each row you want to copy, sort. That will place all your rows together and enable you to copy.paste them back out.
If you want to preserve the original sort order, make another column (I usually use A for this) and put in =ROW() as the equation. Fill it down for the whole table and copy/paste values over it. now after you do any kind of sorting, you can always return the list to the original sort order.

Framemaker10: can't cut and paste tables, rows, or columns

When I select a table row, copy, and then try to paste it as a new row, only text pastes in. When I Edit>Paste Special, the only options provided are Text and Unicode Text.
I used to be able to cut and paste rows but that is no longer an option. Has anyone experienced this? Know a fix?
Editing my maker.ini files does not fix it.

Exactly how are you attempting to copy/paste?
For a whole table, I select the marker, copy, paste wherever.
For a row, I'm able to position my cursor in a row, highlight the row, then paste either at the end of that table or separately.
Haven't tried columns, but they probably work the same way.

I've a table control in my screen. TC is displaying data from database.
Modifications, Insertion and deletion of data are allowed in the TC which will in turn reflect to Database.
Now i want users to copy and paste the rows in the TC.

Place the cursor in forst field and press CNT+y now select the entair row by using your mouce and press CNT+C and paste the data in what ever position.

Copy and paste formats only

I have just downloaded IWork to evaluate and am stumped at the first hurdle. I just want to copy a cells format (not its contents)and paste it into another cell (format painter in Excel). Can anyone help?

What we have is descripted in the PDF User Guide in page 79 (in the English version)

How to copy and paste text into email without HTML gibberish

I've had trouble for some time now copying and pasting text into and out of yahoo emails. I can't just copy and paste text, I have to first transfer to Word for Mac and then paste into a yahoo email. Then I end up with what looks like three lines of HTML gibberish at the start of the pasted text each time. Isn't there a clean and direct way of copy and paste of text into and from emails in yahoo? No other email I work with has this problem, and the Safari browser doesn't give this same issue

I have to agree with bmalmquist. Need for Speed seems to work great on the Playbook. I didn't buy the Playbook to play games though. RIM needs to shift their focus from games to useful and productive apps. The apps I need to use are either missing very important features, or are just completely missing. It is somewhat disconcerting to see new apps appear in App World only to discover that the new apps are mostly games. I'm seeing lots of apps that would help me waste time, but very few that will actually help me be more productive.

I went through updates on my three newest Macs this week. As I stated I'm talking about iTunes 10.5.1 (42). I am checking for updates now and I see 10.5.2 is now available. I'll know in about 15 minutes if this issue is fixed or not.

I must have updated this PPC G5 a day or two before iTunes 10.5.2 came out. I was able to update to 10.5.2 (11) and this copy/paste bug is fixed. I'm happy again.

Try just Opening the Word .doc from within Pages and see if that gets closer to what you want, then copy the chapter you want from the Pages version.

Copy and Paste Large (more than 999 rows) Spreadsheet

I have a large spreadsheet that has a number of hidden columns. It is about 1,135 rows long. I have no trouble copying and pasting the spreadsheet into Pages (both are IWork '09) as long as I only try to copy and past 999 or fewer rows. But when I try to copy and paste more than 999 rows, I only get the cell contents pasted into Pages. The cell borders and formatting all get removed. I have tried different groupings of 999 and always get the same results whether I am trying it will range 1-999 or 100-1099. 999 cells can be copied and pasted, but 1,000 or more get stripped of any formatting during the paste. Any suggestions? I've tried rebooting, running disk utility and renaming the Numbers document. I've tried copying and pasting the contents of the numbers document into a new numbers document, but get the same results. I've exported the Numbes document as an Excel document and reopened it using Numbers but still get the same results. Anybody got any suggestions? I'm running OS X 10.6.8 and everything is current.

To be complete on the subject, I tested the number of columns allowed by Pages in a table.
The document format, portrait or landscape, doesn't matter. Pages accept only 65 columns.
This limit may have a simple explanation :
in Binary format, 64 is represented by 1000000
and of course as we start from 0, 7 digits allow to define 65 values.
For the 999 rows limit I have no idea. The binary representation of 998 is : 1111100110
I would be surprised that Apple use the decimal system to count the rows and if it does, the logical limit wasn't 999 but 1000 which is the count of integers from 0 thru 999.
At this time the larger table which I use regularly is a Numbers one with 5296 rows in which I store the references to Apple Technotes. It receive about 20 new rows every week.
I splitted the original 6942 rows one in two tables : the one with 'living' technotes and a 1646 rows one storing the now obsolete technotes.
15 days ago, it was an AW6 database but I decided that it was time to to switch it in today's application.

Can items from a list be copied and pasted into a new Pages Table?

In iWork Pages, I have a list of 50's & 60's recording artists and their songs, (which is about 40 pages long) from my '45 rpm record collection for my Jukebox.
Is there any way to copy and paste the artists' names, and their songs into a Pages Table, so that I can sort the artists' names into an alphabetical list?
If there is a way, it would save me a ton of work of typing each name into a Table one at a time.

Recently, I have had documents of lists that I had wanted to put into a Table afterwards, but there was no way that I could do it.... which brought me to my question to the Forum.....
I had made the artists' listing & songs of about 40 pages, about 7 years ago when I had a PC, and it was done in MS Word, and I haven't worked on it since then.
Being a veritable Newbie at the time, I had put the artists' name in one column, and the song title in another. When I had to insert a new artist and song, I would "Add Row Below" and then type the info in.
Little did I realize at the time that I had created a Table, without knowing it (I told you that I was a Newbie).
So when I started to work on those files this morning for the first time in a number of years, I wondered how could I put all the info from that Word document into a Table in Pages.
Then I could sort Ascending, instead of "Add Row Below" to squeeze the new name in when I wanted to add another artist.
Then I realized after posting the question on this Forum, that it ALREADY WAS in Table form.
I looked into the help section of Pages and found that I could sort the names in the Inspector Box in the Table Tab.
So, sorry to say I didn't discover a new technique of copying a list and then pasting the info into a new Table in one shot......

Can't copy and paste from table to table

Just upgraded all my clients to CS 6.5 and now no one can copy and paste from table to table. It locks up every time. I have already dumped the program preferences and still can't do it. This is a HUGE problem with my users. Any help would be appreciated. I have a wild mix of users - Mac, Windows XP and Windows 7. Please help if you can!

Thank you for contacting Adobe Support.
The only possible workaround is that you can select (n-1) cell from a particular row where n are the total number of cells in a particular row.
Ex- If i have a row with 3 cells so i can only select 2 cells at a time and paste it to the location where i wanted to paste and then manually select the last cell and copy paste the content where required.
Please let us know in case of any concern.
