Copy and Paste when a Button is clicked

In the current form that I am creating, I have a dropdown which automatically populates a text field depending on which option the user clicks in the dropdown called "Client Requirement/Suggestion" . After this first instance, I will have a button that when clicked, the same dropdown and text field from the first instance will appear again without overriding or deleting what was selected in the first and the user will be able to select something else. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Captivate 6 - Cannot copy and paste to different slides

Hello,
I have recently spent some time creating an Captivate template to use for my company' s eLearnings. I noticed when I created a project from this template, I am not able to copy and paste objects (eg buttons) from one slide to the next in the new cptx file.
   As a test, I created a simple dummy template, and then created a project from this dummy template, and I have the same problem.
   Within the dummy template, I can copy and paste objects to a new slide, but within my company's template, I cannot.
Note: the pasted object doesnt show up on the stage nor the timeline.

Thanks. Yea, I think I incorrectly used the template.   I inserted a number of text captions (not place-holders) into my template, and these annoyingly essentially became master slides within my .cptx project - in other words, any inserted slide in the new .cptx project placed after one of these "template" slides inherted the text captions from the "template" slide, and I couldn't delete these text captions. I essentially had to delete the "template" slide and rebuild it within the .cptx project. What is even weirder, is the inherted, un-wanted text captions did not appear during playback or in the film-strip, but only were visible on stage in "editing" mode.

Cannot use the copy and paste option

I can't copy and paste any documents. By clicking right clicking mouse there is option for copy. I copy it but i can't paste it even doing ctr--c followed by ctr--v. I unable to copy paste.
When i open clipboard i coudn't able to see any document or picture in it.
Please guide me how can I copy paste all document again.
I try to copy in word i cant do it.
I try to copy matrial from word to my email i can't do it.
How i can enable this copy paste.
There is no virus in my computer.

You can contact the ASP in your country if you have any problems with your notebook.
But to be honest I dont think that the guys will be able to help you because only the hardware problems can be solved by an ASP and this issue seems to be related definitely to the software. The guys always recommend reinstalling the OS from the Toshiba recovery CD firstly.
What you can do is to search on the Microsoft knowledge base for some solution proposal. For me it looks like a registry issue. But believe me; the simplest solution is the new OS installation or system restore to the early working point. Such procedure takes about 15min.

Copy and paste does not work

I have windows vista, adobe master suite collection cS3. I am having trouble using copy and paste and screen grabs in Adobe Photoshop.
Does anyone know what may be cauing this?

I copied website captures fine onto Paint and copied text and screen captures on Microsoft word fine. I am mainly trying to copy and paste website screen grabs. For example I tried copying a website screen grab straight onto Photoshop.
I am using the manual form of copy and pasting through the mouse right click. Strangely when closing and reopening Photoshop the copy and paste tool works temporarily however after a couple of copy and pasting’s the copy and paste function doesn’t work again!

Firefox does not allow me to highlight html documents when on line and then copy and paste
When I left click to highlight it just moves a ghost copy of the whole document away from where you begin.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Cannot copy and paste in Firefox, text or graphics

recently updated to ver 22, , and started noticing that I can no longer copy and paste from sites I visit since the update. I can copy and paste from Chrome, IE, and other software within my PC. This appears to be only a problem with Firefox. Have used all of your suggestions for troubleshooting and none of these work for me. I am using Windows XP Pro, with an AMD dual processor, 4gB memory and plenty of available disc space. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Do not know if the update had any thing to do with the problem. Thanks

I am using the latest updates of Windows 7 and Windows 8 on three separate computers, each with the latest update to Firefox and with the latest update to ZoneAlarm. Just as everyone else here, I can no longer copy and paste when browsing the Internet using Firefox. IE 10 does not suffer from this issue. I have deleted ZoneAlarm from both browsers, but the problem continues in Firefox 22.0.
Am growing more and more frustrated.

I have a Adobe Captivate 6 project, and I cannot copy and paste text captions, buttons, smart shapes, etc. Do any of the experts out there have any advice? Solution : I created a new project and copied and pasted the slides from the old project to the new project. Copy and paste works as it should in the new project.

How to get a form to appear on the same page when a button is clicked?

I have a report on a page with a create button. When a user clicks the create button, a form should appear on another region in the same page....how do i go about doing this?
I know how to do this if the form is on a different page, but i'd like the form to appear on the same page as the report and only when the button is clicked.

I did the following, but it didnt work....
1) Created a hidden item on the page, and in the Default Value field, I set the value to N.
2) Created a button in the report with the following values under "Optional URL Redirect":
Target is a: Page in this application
Page: 4
Set these items: P1_SHOW_FORM
With these values: Y
3) Created a form of HTML text type with the following values under "Conditional Display":
Condition Type: Request=Expression 1
Expression 1: P1_SHOW_FORM='Y'

I want to publish a book with Blurb. They don't have Russian fonts, so I have to type the text in Russian in Notes in my iPad, send it to my e-mail box, and then open the e-mail box in Mac, and copy and paste the text into the book template of Blurbs. I don't know how to make a Russian keyboard in Mac to be able to type quickly. I asked about it in the Apple store, and they showed me how to find a Russian keyboard in the net, but it takes much time to type using a screen keyboard, and the texts also cannot be copied and pasted, when they are in Russian. They are erased when I press 'command+C", and all I have is a single letter 'c' instead. No problems with texts in English. Maybe Russian is not supported for copying and pasting?:(

You simply cannot have two files with the same name in the same folder. No operating system will allow this. Remove old page1 from folder before you copy & paste the new one.

The edit button disappears when I have the link window open, so how do I copy and paste address for email link?

When I want to create a link to a web page in an email, I click the "link" icon and a window appears asking for the address. But simultaneously, the "edit" function and all other functions disappear from the Firefox toolbar. With no edit, how can I copy and paste the address? I have tried highlighting the address and dragging it into the window, but it won't drop into the window.
I have resorted to copying the address to a document and then pasting it into the link window, but there must be a less cumbersome way.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden. 
You can make the Menu bar visible via View > Toolbars, also accessible via Firefox > Options. 
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.

When I post a link, it isn't underlined, so the recipient can't click on it but has to copy and paste

I had to change to Firefox because I'm with Yahoo and it became impossible with IE to use my email. Now I can't copy and post links for the recipient to simply click on, because they are not underlined, so the recipient has to copy and paste them to view them. This is not great for my daughters, for example, who receive their emails on their mobiles, as they can't then look at the link. I have no idea why this is like this and equally, have no idea how to remedy it. Is it something to do with the fonts maybe? I did change them when I 1st started

Just above the textarea that you use to enter the message text there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic. 
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button). 
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink. 
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each.
