Copy blog entry between two blogs?

Is there a way to move/copy a blog entries or a series of blog entries between two blogs? I have some entries in one blog that I want to move to another blog within iWeb, and I do not want to have to recreate the entries manually in each blog.
Thanks,
Robert

Hello
I would be interested in this as well. It would make it easier to setup a hidden blog draft page and then just copy the finished entry to the "real" blog page when it's done.
I haven't found a way yet - so far, I've just been copying the elements one by one to the real blog page or just composing in email (using the drafts folder there) and then pasting it in the blog and finishing off the formatting at that time.

  • Select entries between two dates by converting Unix timestamp in Oracle Dat

    Hi,
I need to select the entries between two dates from an Oracle db. The Oracle db has a column with Unix timestamps. I use the following querry, but it doesnt seem to be working as desired.
    select count(*) from reporter_status where to_char(FIRSTOCCURRENCE, 'mm-dd-yy') between ('08-07-06') and ('08-08-06');
    FIRSTOCCURRENCE has the Unix timestamps.
Could anyone help me out with this. Thank you for your help.

Assuming that it is actually a UNIX timestamp, then it is the number of seconds since Jan 1, 1970, so you need something like:
    SELECT COUNT(*)
    FROM reporter_status
    WHERE TO_DATE('01-Jan-1970', 'dd-mon-yyyy') + (firstoccurrence/24/60/60)
                    BETWEEN TO_DATE('08-07-2006', 'mm-dd-yyyy') AND
TO_DATE('08-08-2006, 'mm-dd-yyyy');Did Y2K not teach us anything? Use 4 digit years.

  • Can you copy purchase history between two different iTunes accounts?

So I have music from two different iTunes store accounts that were purchased on two different credit cards. I want to buy and album & I have 7 of the songs from it, but it isn't showing up as purchased, because they were purchased on the other account. I don't want to pay for those songs again, so is there a way to copy the purchase history between the different accounts so I don't have to pay for them again?

    No.

  • Need help to copy a photo between two events.

I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to copy a photo I want shown in two events. I have tried to duplicate the photo and drag it as well as cut and paste the duplicate, and in both instances, both photos move. Does iPhoto not allow the same photo in two events? When I click on the photo, the copy button is not highlighted as an option. Help?

Duplicate the photo, flag one of them and go to the destination event and use the events menu ==> add flagged photo to selected event
However this is not the best way to use iPhoto - events are a very basic inflexible organizing method - having photos in albums which uses no extra space is a much better way or organizing photos

  • Copying selected user between two clients

    Hello to all experts,
When we do client copy using either SCCL or CLIENT EXPORT OR IMPORT, how can i copy selected user.
Eg: If i am copying users from client 001 to my own created client say 300 and i want to copy only selected users of 001 to 300 how can i do that?

    you must create, manually.
if you want to copy all users, you can use local client copy option via tx-code sccl and choose correct profile
but, if you want only selected, create user via tx-code su01 on your new client
you can create a transport request on your soruce client and put necessary roles for user. after you import this request to new client via tx-code scc1, you can give these roles to created user

  • Copying or syncing between two MACS

How can I copy photos from iPhoto 09 on my iMac G5 to my MacBook Pro?

If you don't need to copy the metadata along with the photos then give iPhotoSync a try.
    Here's how it works:
    1 - it compares the databases and/or album.xml files of Libraries A and B.
2 - the files in A that are not in B are imported into B by copying the original files from A into B's Import folder.
3 - it then does the same for B.
4 - metadata is not copied.
5 - it can be password protected to prevent unauthorized use.
Otherwise iPhoto Library Manager is your best bet as it copies photos with their metadata along with the Events they are in.

  • How to copy table rows between two tables?

    Hi,
We are using the advanced table to specify any kind of data in a structured way. Sometimes I like to move a row from the second table to a the first or reverse.
Any time when I select a row the "paste" activity moves all the selected table fields into one single field in the target table. So it is not a row copy as I like to see it.
How can I manage this better?
    Thanks
    Volker

    Volker,
So WYSIWYG copying messes up the row? If you send me a screen shot of what happens (just to be clear what Advanced table means to you) I will raise a bug if I can reproduce it.
I will report this back up the PM chain but as a workaround I would flip into WIKI markup mode and use the copy and paste in that mode. This will make sure the stuff ends up in the correct place.

  • Sync/copy AAA clients between two ACS5.2

Hi, all, we are moving network devices (200+) authentication/authorization/accounting to new ACS5.2, is there any easy way to copy/sync all those AAA clients configuration to another ACS5.2 server? I don't need other configuration to be synced/copied to another ACS5.2 server, thanks in advance.

To reconfirm from previous thread that export/import mechanism is designed to meet this use case for network devices
One other point to consider is in the case that you have made changes to the NDGs as well as the network device definitions
There is also an export/import mechanism for the NDGs.
Since the network device definitions reference the NDGs need to ensure these are in sync before imprting the netwrok devices themselves

Yes, you can backup the Q10 using Link, and restore that backup to the Q5... AS LONG AS both devices have the same BBID.  Just backup your Q10 > Backup > Custom backup > Settings. and on the Q5, restore only the Settings.

  • Copy RPD between two environments

    Hi,
Can anyone help with the process of copying an RPD between two environments (e.g. development to production).
    Thanks

    See this link
    http://www.rittmanmead.com/2008/04/28/migration-obiee-projects-between-dev-and-prod-environments/
Make sure that you have all TNS entries in TNSNames.ora file in new environment.Match the database details given in connection pool to TNS entries whether they are pointing to correct database.
I hope RPD structure is same in both the environments ie users, groups are same.

  • Transferring applications between two Macs in different locations?

What is the easiest way to copy an application between two Macs? I originally installed a graphics program on my old eMac G4, then used the Migration Assistant to transfer it to my new iMac G5. I then reinitialized the old G4 and didn't bother to reinstall the graphics program, but now I would like to have it on this machine as well and I can't find the original install disk for this application. Complicating matters is that the machines are now in two different places, one at home, one at work. This is an expensive program, so I would hate to have to buy another copy and am kicking myself for not being able to find it. Thanks for any help...

If you can't find the original install disk for the program, contact the program vendor. Some may offer you a replacement disk for a nominal fee. And be sure to follow whatever license agreement you have for the purchase of that software. If it can't be installed at both home and at work, and you can't afford another copy of that program, you may want to seek a cheaper alternative.

  • Different ways to copy data between two schemas in one instance

    Hi there,
I am searching a good way to copy data between two schemas in the same instance.
Both schemas have an identical structure such as triggers, tables, views and so on. The only difference is the purpose: one is the productivity system and one is for development.
I looked at datapump but I do not explicit want to export / import. I want to keep the data in the productivity schema as well as copy it to the other schema. Any ideas? I found out there is a copy statement but I dont't know how that works.
    Thank you so far,
    Jörn

    Thank you for your replies!
I also thought of creating a second instance for development and move the dev - schema to it. I just don't know whether our server can handle both (performance?). Anyway the idea is to have a possibility to quickly rebuild the data inside a schema without indixes or triggers, just pure data. I thought the easiest way would be to copy the data between the schemas as they are exactly the same. However if you tell me DataPunp is the best solution i won't deny using it :).
When you export data a file is created. does that also mean that the exported data is deleted inside the schema?
    best regards
    Jörn

  • Client Copy between Two Different Systems

    Hi!!
Could someone please explain or provide any documentation which explains how to perform client copy between two r/3 systems of same version(ecc 6.0)
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vishwa.

    Hi,
Save the contents that need to be copied in a Transport request at source client.
Now at the target client system,
execute transaction 'SCC1' and give the TR number and execute it.
The changes from the source client system this way will get copied to destination client system.
    Reward if useful!
    Thanks,
    KalpanaR

  • Permissions problem copying files between two Macs

I've run into a strange problem when trying to copy files between two networked Macs. Some background facts: We have two Macs at home each with three accounts. Two of the accounts are regular user accounts (my wife's and mine, call them "K" and "B" for short) and the third is an administrator account (we'll call it "A"). I have a .Mac account, which I use to sync between the two Macs. The other accounts do not. The user accounts B & K were initially set up on the second Mac via the Migration Assistant, copying over files and settings. The administrator account was not.
The problem I've run into is that if I am logged in as either user B or K on the local Mac, connect to the remote Mac as the corresponding user, and try to copy files into a folder owned by that same user on the remote Mac, I get a series of three dialog boxes with error messages:
    1) "You may need to enter the name and password for an administrator on this computer to change the item named ..." (stop/continue)
    2) "The item ... contains one or more items you do not have permission to read. Do you want to copy the items you are allowed to read?" (stop/continue)
    3) "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items."
If I go all the way through this hitting continue / OK on each, what shows up on the remote computer at the end is an empty file with the name and filetype of the local file that I was trying to copy, but of zero length.
This only happens when I'm copying from (local.B -> remote.B) or (local.K -> remote.K). It does not happen if I try any of the other pairwise combinations (assuming that I've authenticated properly): (local.B -> remote.K or remote.A), (local.K -> remote.B or remote.A), (local.A -> remote.B, remote.K or remote.A). It happens regardless of which Mac is local and which is remote.
I'm a little baffled. I've tried to search for this on Apple Discussions and other forums, but either haven't been using the right keywords or am coming up blank.
    Anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Bob

borbye is correct that this will remedy the problem but there is a way to do it and have your account work. after changing the user UID and group UID to 501 you will have to restart. then when you log on your home folder will still be your default but you will not have any access. Since you are still an admin you can change that. right click on the home folder and select get info click arrow for sharing and permissions. Your old UID account will show up as _unknown delete this user and add your user to it giving yourself read and write privilege. click on the cog on the bottom and select apply to enclosed items. A warning box will appear stating that this process cannot be undone do you wish to proceed? click yes and a status bar will come up. once the bar is gone the process is complete. since you didn't have access to your home folder you cannot save your settings, this is a good thing since your account will not look remotely the same as yours most likely. all you have to do now is logout and then back in. Your account will look as it did before the change with all the access settings and so forth as before the change... minus some permissions due to the overwrite. It's a minor repair to the permissions to some shares considering you will be able to now move files to and these shares without the permissions alert that only creates a 4kb file instead of the real thing. Takes 5 minutes at most. Have fun.
