Copy company code data into another company code

Hi SAP gurus,
We are working on one rollout project. So our Functional consultants are copying The company code 7301 data into 7501 by using SPRO. But at the end It is giving following Error Message because of one Y-table .
Message no. TK 092
Diagnosis
The object R3TR TABU YFI_CONT_NATURE is flagged as a Current setting,
     which means that it is not controlled by the Transport Organizer.
However, the attributes of object R3TR TABU TCK33 mean that it is
     controlled by the Transport Organizer.
Any objects that you want to edit together in a single step must eithe
     all be controlled by the Transport Organizer, or none of them can be controlled by the Transport organizer.
System Response
The funtion terminates.
Procedure
Edit the objects separately.
          could you help what is the exact problem whether is there any issue with basis.

Hi Aluri,
Well you want it request by request.
That does not make it easy.
The only thing I can think of is to
- empty the source cube,
- reconstruct the first request,
- do an init to the new cube,
- reconstruct the next request,
- do a delta,
etc.
but, depending to the number of requests this is a lot of work.

How to copy the table datas into an open office excel file .

Hello All ,
I have a form which contains several pages . Each page contains some tables in it . How can we copy each table datas into an open office execl files ??
I mean there will be several excel files each file corresponds to a particular table in the form. I am using LiveCycle Designer ES 2 . in Windows XP.

Here is a screenshot of exporting the form data to XML:
I have not imported XML into Excel, but I know that Excel 2007 has tools for this in the Developer tab. I don't have Excel 2007 on this machine, so I can't get screenshots. However using Acrobat you can merge the XML file into a spreadsheet, using the same menu Forms > Manage Form Data > Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet.
In addition you can set up a data connection to the spreadsheet. However this will only work in a Windows environment and you need to share the OLEDB data connection with all users. In addition if you Reader Enable the form with Acrobat, the data connection will not work.
So on balance if you want to get data to a spreadsheet I would recommend export XML.

Hello Gurus,
I have an issue where i need to track offer letter,i have a standard text which is been automatically used in pb40 while generating offer letter and that is ww-offer-contract in which i need to change the code ( in textid palt )but it is read only document. i need to copy the text into another text.So that i can do the changes required in that.
If i go with Utilities-->copy from client then it is allowing me to copy but not allowing me to change into it.it is giving me the dump.Since it is asking for the permission,i went for stop protection.but still it is giving me the dump.
Any one plzz help me out with this.

There is a selection screen parameter
parameters: par_bi like rfpdo1-f100buch default ' '.
Comment this and declare a variable and pass 'X' or space into that as per the requirement.

go to se11, give sflight (Your standard table name) in tables text,
No go to dictionary objects --> copy --> give new Ztable in to table text.
Like this you can copy the standard sap table to a new ztable..

Looking at the error message assuming you might be doing the alter table statement on remote table unit_labels which is throwing the ORA-22804 error which is not permitted on remote tables.

SSM 7.0 - Copy SAP BI data into PAS or Create Dim. Model viewing BI Data

I am using SSM 7.0 with SAP BI. Is there some best practice / direction / comments on making a decision between:
#1 - Duplicate SAP BI data into PAS Dimensional Model
- Create an InfoCube in SAP BI
- Create the model connection required by BI Connection
- Copy the required SAP BW/BI InfoCube information into a PAS Model using the BI Connector
- Create KPIs based on this model connection
or
#2 - Make SAP BI data visible in PAS Dimensional Model (no data stored in PAS)
- Create an InfoCube in SAP BI
- Create a Dimensional Model based on this InfoCube using a Link ID and the SCHEMA commands
- Create a model connection to make data in InfoCube available in SSM
- Create KPIs based on this model connection
My thinking is that if the volume of data is low then not actually having to go to the trouble of duplicating the data in SSM would work well - with the benefit that the information is updated as soon as the SAP BI InfoCube is updated.
(At the moment I have tried #2 but so far not failed to create an KPIs - I am wondering if the Key Figures in the InfoCube need to use a particular naming standard)

Although you can use queries that already exist in BW, it is usually better to create new queries adjusted to the kind of information you want to provide in SM. There are a few rules you need to follow when creating such queries, but there is actually no naming convention for its Key-Figures.

Getting data into another collection from UNION of 2 collections

Hi,
I have a requirement like this.
cursor c1 is
select a,b,c,d from abc
UNION
select e,f,g,h from def;
I am replacing cursor with collection variables.
Created collection variables for both the select statements as
select a,b,c,d BULK COLLECT INTO coll_abc from abc;
select e,f,g,h BULK COLLECT INTO coll_def from def;
Now, I want to get the UNION of both these collections into another collection variable.
Can I write

How does one copy a PDF file into another PDF document?

I am trying to copy part of a PDF file into another PDF document. So far, the file will copy but will not paste into another PDF document. Any clues?

You can't convert Photoshop to editiable InDesign (though there is a plugin from RecoSoft that claims to make editable ID files from PDF: http://www.recosoft.com/products/pdf2id/).
About the best you can hope for is to leave pixel information in the Photoshop file (where it really belongs) and place that into an ID document, then set any type in ID.

Steps to copy back the data into newly modified table

Dear Friends,
I am working for a client in CANADA...our client has a condition table 501 which has two feilds Dist Channel and Material...now he wants to add a new feild sales org.
i copied the table 501 which has about 20000 records to a new table and deleted the table 501 and re created the table 501 with new feild added. all is well till here.
Now how should i copy back the data to 501?
my question is since the modified 501 table has a new feild, will it be possible to copy back the data since both these tables are NOT identical..in a sense that a new feild is added ?
please suggest...

U can copy both fields in new 501 table. Sales organization field will remain blank but other two fields data can be copied.

How to copy Sales tab data into spares data

Hi,
In CRMD_ORDER Transaction, Once service order(product details are entered) is created, status is released.
On clicking follow-up confirmation service order confirmation is created, I need to populate sales tab data in spares tab once confirmation is clicked.
Is it possible to copy sales tab data in spare parts tab in crmd_order ? I found CRM_SALES_BADI is triggering just after the confirmation click however it does not have required guid.
Somebody can suggest how to proceed with the such requirement.

You want to copy the sales product as a spares product in Service confirmation from Service order.
I dont think this is possible, since the sales product has different properties and the ITEM OBJECT TYPE is different from that of SPARES one.
However I think your requirement is that the sales tab material should be picked as SPARES in confirmation and Confirmed.
Please provide more details so that I can suggest a workaround, like what you want to do with the material from CONFIRMATION. How are you going to deliver the material to the customer etc. Why it is so rigid as to consider the material as a sales material only in SERVICE ORDER etc.

Copy Inventory Master Data to another Item Number

For the new database setup, I would like to copy from one Item Master Data (all tab details) to another Item Number to save time. Then just edit few fields only. How can I do it?

If there is provision of changing the item codes then you can try the import from Excel option also. As changing the item codes in an excel list will be much easier than opening each master data and changing the codes.
Try this-
1. Go to the test database where you create the test items.
2. Open the item master data in the find mode and open the search list.
3. With the f=Form Settings just make those columns visible which you want to import.
for ex in a DB i have some items, I wnt to import the to other, only the item code, item descrption and the manufactures. then i open the search list and only make these columns visible.
4. Now export this list to excel
5. Now change the iem codes of the desired in the excel format.
5. Save it as a txt file and import through the "Import From Excel Option"
Administration> Data Import/Export> Data Import> Import from Excel

Copying a cell /results/ into another cell

i have a set of totals in different sections and i want to COPY this number result so that it actively updates in the destination cell. the originating cell is a SUM of about ten items above it and when i simply copy and paste this origination cell into the destination cell the destination cell wants to SUM up the ten cells above /it/.
i am using "numeric" for all my cells and i am wondering if i need to change the destination cells to some other format so that it will simply accept the final number but i also want to make sure this destination cell will UPDATE when the origination cell changes.
any advice please and/or search terms for this operation?
i've gotten backed up by weeks getting OCD (and a little carpal tunnel) with my formatting so i am trying to close out the learning curve on this effort ASAP before going back in and studying documentation on numbers 3.0.

you are thinking of how data flows backwards. you are thinking that copy takes the result from a cell, when, in fact, it takes the formula OR the value (if it is not a formula). To "get" the value out of a cell you refer to that cell from another cell-- thereby "pulling" the result out of the cell.
The search terms woudl be "cell", "reference"
In the destination cell (the cell where you want a /COPY/ type the equal sign, then click the cell where the sum resides (even if its in another table, or another sheet).
If you you do not want to try the click method, then you can type the reference as follows:
assume the cell where the sum resides is
Sheet 1
Table 1
cell A20
Then in the cell where you want the /COPY/ type:
"=Sheet 1 :: Table 1 :: A20" without the double quotes

How do I make an Excel macro and Labview push to copy Labview calculated data into a cell on demand?

Hey there, I am a chemist so Labview and programming aren't exactly my strong point.
We have a Labview program that we run to control and automated valve manifold that has a thermocouple and pressure transducer that displays the temperature and pressure on the "front panel" of the labview file we run. The temperature and pressure of the manifold changes in real time while the labview is running. We must attach a sample to the manifold, take the pressure and temperature, then record those values in an excel spread sheet, one at a time.
What I would like to do is make a key board macro in excel to automatically type in the current read out of the temperature (and another for pressure) into which ever selected excel cell you are on, so that you don't have to switch back to the labview window to look at it. I have a very basic understanding of macros in VB but I don't know how to get the labview to make the read outs available for the excel macros to find it.

Why not have LV put the data in Excel for you? You can use Actvie X to do this. There is plenty of information on the forum and knowledge base on how to use Active X and reporting to Excel. Plus you have the example finder. Do you have the Report Generation Toolkit? LV7 is quite old, so I don't know if this is an option for you.
