Copy control from opportunity to task

Hello,
I want a task to be created with reference to the opportunity, i have maintained the copy control, but yet the account and the employee responsible dont get copied to the task....what can be the possible reason.

You can not use copy control rutines for partner determination. For that you have to use partner determination procedures under spro>crm>basic settings>partner processing. You have to define in your partner determination procedure for account and employee responsible the correct access sequence "1000 - Preceding Document". This is a standard access sequence that copies partner function from preceding document. You can use also some more complex access sequence if you want.

  • Copy Control From Sales Order to Purchase Order

    Hi Experts,
I want to ask how the copy control from Sales Order to Purchase Document can be done? Because they are instances that the users have some items in the Sales Orders not copied to Purchase Document.
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Experts,
I have seen the documentation for 3rd Party Sales, thanks to some suggestions. However, there is a report which does not work in our Test Environment, the program name is SDMFSTRP. As suggested by some forums, this is another way of connecting Sales Order to the created Purchase Requisition. So I'd like to ask if there are other ways to connect the 3rd Party Sales to the created Purchase Requisition.
And also may I know your scenarios when there will be missing items from Sales Order to Purchase Requisition. There are some instances that from Indent Orders, some SO items are not copied to PR.
    Thanks a lot!

condition values from a source document? I don't even have a document
pricing procedure assigned to my billing document. Any setting, that
we can do to for the conditions to get copied from the sales document
to the billing document...just as they are in the sales document?

What setting do you have for your source sales document type to target billing document type? Select the row that shows the document type you are interested in and double click on item(on the left pane). Select the item category and do display. What value do you see under the 'Pricing Type' and 'Price Source'?
May be that is where some config setting is missing.

  • Copy control from PO to outbound delivery

How is the customization of the copy control from the purchase order to outbound delivery is done (especially for the intercompany processes)?
Thanks in advance for the answers.

The customization of purchase order to delivery are done two places, first at SPRO->Materials management->Purchasing->purchase order->set up stock transport order. Here the customer number/sales area are assigned to both supplying and delivering plants. From this customer number, the shipping data are utilized in creating the shipping document, for example shipping conditions. The copy control from purchase order to delivery is done at SPRO->Logistics execution->shipping->deliveries->copying control->specify copy control for deliveries. Here check the settings made for DL ->NL (STO) and  DL->NLCC (Cross company) copy control settings. The delivery document types NL and NLCC are assigned with value B-Purchase order required in the order required field in t.code 0VLK. By this way, the system understands, the data must be copied from purchase orders.

  • Copying control from Delivery to Billing

    Hi Experts,
I created a new requirement for Copying control from Delivery to Billing. And it works in our develop server.
But when I transport it to our test server, it dumps with message can not find the include which my new requirement in.
But I go to SE38, there is the include.
I really have no idea about this. Any advice will be a help.
    Thank you in advance.
    Richard

    Hi,
Please follow the step mentioned below it will solve your problem.:::
1)The first step for correcting this type of short dump is to execute the RV80HGEN utility  program to re-generate all VOFM routines. Unfortunately, running this program does not always solve the problem. executing RV80HGEN did not work.
The output report for RV80HGEN denotes that all routines were activated, but the parent include was not repaired.
    2) Since RV80HGEN did not solve the problem, the next step is to manually regenerate the program index of the program that contains the VOFM routine. For billing data transfer routines, the program is SAPFV60C
    3) From the program editor, navigate using the menu to Utilities>Update navigation index.Executing this function will solve the problem.
Hope your problem is resolved !!!

  • Copying control from activity to opportunity

    Hi All,
My client requirement is such that all the data under tab Additional Data B in transaction activity should be copied to opportunity when you create it as follow up document. Can anyone help me implement this copying control?
    Thanx,
    Lalitha

    Hi Radek,
The Badi does not get called since any follow ups from activity does not require any copy control settings in SPRO.
As you must be aware, that this Badi is filter dependent and the filter which is called the copy routine is assigned in the customization of Copy Control for transaction type.
You can try using the CRMD_ORDERADM_H_BADI

  • Follow from Opportunity to Task

    Dear Experts,
When i create an opportunity in Web client 2007, save it and follow up with Task the Prospect filed in the transaction Opportunity is not getting copied to Account field of Task.
I want to know is this a standard phenomeno in WebClient? If not what settings required in order to get the prospect details flown into Accont field of Task from Opportunity during the follow up.
Your input on this will be highly appreciated and rewarded...
    Regards...

Thanks for your input Sowmiya, I did it already the copy control, referencing everything that is possible to reference...
    Thanks anyway...
In the meantime I've found a way that is working perfectly btw Opportunities to quotations..it means that is copying all the partner functions (sold -to/ prospect, contacts and employee responsible) from the source transaction to the destiny one... what I think is that I'll use always this configuration..even if we r talking about from Opportunities to appointments/tasks.
Here are the steps I'm performing for an example where we want to have the employee, the sold-to/prospect and the contact available in the follow up transaction automatically:
In spro>crm>basic functions>partner processing >Define partner determination procedure
1_ Definition of a Pricing procedure - Z0000004 per copy of a standard one ex: Opportunities - 00000004
2_ Definition of a Pricing procedure - Z0000001 per copy of a standard one ex: Sales - 00000001
3_ In the details of the Sold-to and employee responsible we should not do any change, is being copied automatically with the standard configuration
4_ add the contact personpartner function (000000015)  for the target Pricing procedure (Z0000001), in the details, set the following parameters:
    - Access sequence 1001 Business Partner relationships: Sold-to party. In this way once the sold to is copied to the transaction, the access sequence reads the value for the sold-to and determines automatically the contact(s).
5_ If you want to use these pricing procedures in other transaction types, such as activities, leads... make sure your pricing procedure is allowing other transaction types (you can set this in the folder 'Procedure user').
    In spro>crm>transactions>basic settings>Define transaction types
6_Assign the pricing procedure to the transaction type you need.
7_Make sure that the Organizational data determination is the correct one and that the organizatioal details are maintained in the Business partner, for this example I'm setting the values for 'Org.data prof.'- 00000000005 and the 'Partner Function ORG' - 001 Sold-to-party.
ps: if you have errors with the organizational determination in one of the transactions types, the partner determination procedure will never work.

    Hugo

  • Copy Control for Opportunity

    Folks,
I have set up Copy Control for the 10 different Opportunity Types that I have, and have ensured that each oppty type is listed in as the Source and Target.  When I click on the 'Copy' icon for an existing opportunity, I am not prompted to select the opportunity type.  The new opportunity that is being created defaults to the same opportunity type as the opportunity being copied.  I would like the users to be prompted to select the opportunity type.  This should work the way that it's configured, but it's not.  Any ideas as to what I should check?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Copy Control for Transaction copies transaction data from source to target transation to use this you will have to use option Button Create Follow-Up  NOT Button Copy.
Copy Button create only copy of same transaction with using same transation type which has no reference to source transaction but if u r creating follow-up from one transaction to another u will get option to select Transaction types which u have maintained in Copy control.
    Revert for any queries

  • Modification in copy control from Contract to Sales order

    Hello Gurus...
We are using a standard copy control routine to copy header and item level data from Contract to Sales order.
Now what happening is the price for some items is changing after creation of contract. But when the sales order is created it is copying old value from contract.
I want to modify the routine in such a way that I can redetermine the price for the item.
I can not change configuration as the same is used by multiple company codes and the change is required only for some company code.
    Any suggestions please?

    Hi there,
You have do some customizing in the pricing type at the copy controls in item level.
Define a copy control routine at the item level in VOFM. In the routine put a condition that the system should read the value in the pricing type. As per your requirement if the company code / sales org is 1000 / XXXX for eg, then the system should apply the pricing type that will carry out the new pricing at the order (I am not connected to SAP right now so not sure what that pricing type is). If the company code / sales org is apart from 1000 / XXXX, it should default the pricing type that is there in standard copy control VTAA.
Check if that is possible with your ABAPer. What I feel is that you have to hard code the pricing type value (that will carry new pricing) in the new copy control routine.
