  • Problems with bill copying control and materials with variant configuration

    Hi experts,
    I have a problem with a bill copying control and the way that my customer is trying to create and print the Bill (VF01).
    Let me explain...They have in a Sales Order a material with variant configuration per position, each one can have many characteristics. This characteristics must be printing on the billing document, creating different bills 'coz the max. lines number is 18, so the bill must change page per material-characteristics.
    Example:
    Max. Number Lines = 3
    Position 10
    Material A
         -Characteristic A
         -Characteristic B
         -Characteristic C     (Bill 1)
         -Characteristic D
         -Characteristic E
         -Characteristic F     (Bill 2)
    Position 20
    Material B
         -Characteristic A     (Bill 3) counting characteristics upside
         -Characteristic B
         -Characteristic C
         -Characteristic D     (Bill 4)
    I created on Tx VOFM (Data Transfer-Billing documents) a routine trying to control this jump, but my problem is when I'm creating the Bill document (VF01) this work only by position, the debugging enter per position.. so I don't have any control to tell the program must count the characteristics and create another bill.
    So... Somebody can help me..or have any idea to solve this problem.....
    Thxs a lot!!!!
    Diego Helfer

    HI Diego
      For our coming assignment, we do have similar sort of situation. Currently we are in Requirements Gathering phase.
      Though we do not have Variant Configuration in place, we do have restriction for no..of items to be used for printing in Billing Documents.
      Current proposal is that we will restrict at Sales Order Creation. If the number of items are increasing, we will restrict saving the document and loading has to be done again. As itz better to restrict at initial phase.
      Our schema is One Sales Order -> One Delivery -> One Billig Document.
       Will post if we can manage to acheive some other way and do request you the same.
    Kind Regards

    Dear,
    1 )Use TCODE -- VTFA  and maintain between OR ( source doc)TO F2 (Target Doc.) for ORDER RELATED BILLING
      If u want Z Document type then copy OR and make ur OWN SALES DOC like ZMFG and also copy F2 and create like ZFGR
    and maintain as suggested above.

  • STO Process Copy control settings

    Dear Gurus,
    I am having issues with item number in purchase order and delivery document. I require the same item numbers in purchase order to be copied to delivery document. I think i got to do something with copy control settings. Please help me. I am confused since its an STO process.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi George,
    Here customization can be done as follows:
    Step 1: SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing --> PO --> Set up STO
    In this step the customer number and sales area is assigned to Supplying & Delivering plants.
    Step 2: SPRO --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Delivery --> Copy control --> Specify Copy control for Deliveries
    Check the settings made for DL to NL (STO) and DL to NLCC (Cross company) copy control settings.
    Step 3: T.Code OVLK
    The Delivery document types NL and NLCC needs to be assigned with "B" in the order required field. Thus, the system understands the data for delivery document has to be copied from Purchase order.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sharan

  • VTFL copy control settings not visible

    hi
    i am facing some problem in copy control settings - vtfl - delivery to billing type copy control
    when i am doing the required settings i.e copying ZLLZ delivery to ZFD billing type and saving the settings, a transport request is being generated and also it says tht data has been saved,but when i see the list i cannot see the new copy control tht i did.
    i can see these entries in the table TVCPF. but these entries shows billing type ZFD n delivery type ZLLZ
    along with additional entry in sales doc column as "ED"
    i am not able to understand from where this entry is being picked...
    an why i cant see the entries at VTFL
    can anyone help.

    Hi friend,
    Please try to check you documents in transaction code VTFL by giving the Billing document (first) and the delivery document.
    Definitely you can find the combination
    And for your another question , In the table TVCPF you can see the sales document type ED which would have maintained in the VTAF copy controls from the Sales document to Billing documents
    Please let me know if you have further queries.

    Dear All,
    I have got confused over Copy Control Settings b/w
    VTFA & VTFL.
    Please help me to understand the both (with differences).
    Best Regards,
    Amit.

    Hi
    VTFA is order to billing copy controls
    that is in order's item category the billing relevence will be order related billing like cash sales , return order etc
    Means your sales order is referrered for billing
    VTFL is Delivety to billing copy controls
    that is in your order's item category the billing relevence will be delivery related billing like standard order, rush sales etc
    Means your delivery document is referred for billing
    Hooe it calrifies

    What's actual meaning for these table names? Where can I find related document and actual corresponding transparent tables for these so-called talbes?

  • Copy control Settings from a Quotaion to Value contract/Quantity Contract

    Hello Friends,
    I would like to know whether it is possible to create a Value/Quantity contract in R3 with reference to a Quotation,Currently I am not able to see the copy control settings between quotation and Value/Quantity ,Also it help me a lot if you can provide me the copy control settings -Header and Item level
    Thanks and Regards
    Mohammed Roshan

    if you run VTAA you would try to create a copy control as follows:
    source: QT (quotation)
    target: CQ (quantity contract)
    say, take the existing record QT->AA (just an example) highlight it and hit 'Copy As'. Type 'CQ' in Target SalesDocTyp field.
    hit Enter. Hit 'copy all'. (if you get a message regarding the "-" or "+" quantityt set this field blank (empty)
    save it and test.
    good luck!

  • Remote Control settings for Markers

    The user manual for Studio Pro 4 states that Remote Control settings for Markers will override all other settings while that part of the track or story plays.
    This however, is not the case- In my project the track & story settings for Remote Control>Menu are actually overriding marker Remote Control>Menu settings, & I really need the marker functions to take precedence over other functions.
    Any idea how I can make this happen?
    Thanks!!
    eric

    As Jake said - I am not seeing this behaviour either.
    If you clear all end jumps from chapter markers and place the markers into stories then you set the menu call for the story. This can be different to the track and depending on which you are playing the menu call for that item will take precedence.
    Of course, if you really want to make it bullet proof then you could point the menu call to a script. Assuming that no matter which story you are in, or how you got to the marker in the track, the following script will always return you to a specific button on a menu for the marker that you have just played
    mov GPRM0, SPRM7
    Jump Menuname, [GPRM0]
    SPRM7 is a system parameter that checks which marker has just played. The first line of the script loads the value of this into a memory slot called GPRM0. The second line operates a jump to your menu - I assume there is only one menu here - and using a conditional GPRM based button jump, the value of GPRM0 fills in the value of the button to go to. This saves writing out lines of code for each possible button.
    If you have lots of menus then this script can be adapted very easily to cope with that, or you can set up other scripts to identify which menu you have come from so as you know which to go back to.
    However, before any of this I would want to know why you are not getting the expected behaviour on our project - my guess is that there is going to be a menu call set into a chapter marker which is over-riding the track or story menu call. If you have end jumps on markers, or menu calls on markers, remove them.

  • New copy control requirement for deliveries

    Hi
    I am trying to create new copy control requirement for deliveries in VOFM tcode. when i enter 901 and enter it is asking for access key. is it that we nned to et access for creating custom requirements also or am i doing somehting wrong.?
    thanks
    sankar

    Hi Sankara,
    The number space between 500 and 999 is customer space for defining the routines. since you want to define a custom rotuine
    you need to get the access key from sap for that.
    the access key will be generated for the 901 routine that you want to develop

  • Copy Control settings : Copy Only Manual conditions

    Hi,
    I have following configuration in SPRO for 'copying control of item categories':
    Source item category- ZSPP
    Target item category - ZPQL
    Copying routine - 900004
    Copy Conditions - Only Copy Manual conditions
    This copy control configuration will be used in 2 scenarios :
    1. When creating service contract quote as follow-up to service contract
    2. When creating service contract as follow-up to some other document type which is custom
    My copying routine is required only for first scenario. So, I have put one conditions in my copy routine(CRM_COPY_BADi) and it is working fine. This copying routine is getting triggerd only for first scenario.
    However, my another requirement is,
    Copy conditions - should be "Copy Manual conditions" for scenario 1 and
    Copy Conditions - should be "Copy All Conditions" for scenario 2.
    So, could you please let me know, how can control this, sinca same item categories are used in both the scenarios. I can't create or change the item categories since already they are in use.
    The baseliine is : I am able to control the copying routine by keeping a condition in CRM_COPY_BADI. But, at the same time I should control "COPY CONDITIONS" also.
    Is there any way to control through config or coding?
    Please help me.
    Thanks,

  • CRM Copy control: CRM_COPY_BADI for document relationship

    Hello!
    I need CRM copy control from an opportunity to another opportunity. The implementation of badi CRM_COPY_BADI should include document relationships: target document should be related to the same documents linked in the source document.
    I cannot find a method to do this.
    Please, could anyone suggest me a solution?
    Thank you.
    Kind regards.
    Elena

    Hello Elena,
    Please follow the steps below:
    1) Go to transaction CRMV_EVENT
        Click on "Object Function/Callback" button
        Create a new entry with following values:
        Function Module: ZCRM_DOCFLOW_COPY_EC
        Object Function: CRM_DOC_FLOW
    2) Go to IMG Path: Customer Relationship Management -> Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Edit Event Handler Table :
    Here create a new entry with the following details
    Trans. Category       BUS2000111     Opportunity
    Execution Time        1                                Immediately
    Priority                    99
    Object Name            ORDERADM_I                       Administration item
    Event                       AFTER_CREATE_WITH_REFERENCE
    Attribute                   <*>
    Function                  ZCRM_DOCFLOW_COPY_EC
    Perform Function for Doc.Header = "Checked"
    Perform Function for Document Item = "Checked"
    Call Callback = space
    3) Create function module ZCRM_DOCFLOW_COPY_EC with the following signature:
    *"  IMPORTING
    *"     REFERENCE(IV_STRVAL_OLD) TYPE  ANY OPTIONAL
    *"     REFERENCE(IV_STRVAL_NEW) TYPE  ANY OPTIONAL
    **Code:
    DATA:
      FIELD-SYMBOLS:
              <ls_orderadm_i_wrk>  TYPE crmt_orderadm_i_wrk,
              <lu_orderadm_i_wrk>  TYPE crmt_orderadm_i_wrk.
      ASSIGN iv_strval_new TO <ls_orderadm_i_wrk>.
      ASSIGN iv_strval_old TO <lu_orderadm_i_wrk>.
    4) Now in this function module you can read the docflow of old opportunity (<lu_orderadm_i_wrk>) using 'CRM_DOC_FLOW_READ_OB'
    Build the new docflow entry for the new opportunity and call 'CRM_DOC_FLOW_MAINTAIN_OW'
    Please let me know if any questions.
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

  • Can i know the copy controls functionality for on standard order to billing

    hi,
    sap gurus,
    can i know the copy controls to be set in for functioning standard order to billing document.
    plz say the config settings and t.code for that ie order to billing
    regards,
    balaji.t
    09990019711.

    Dear balaji
    If you can tell us in which scenario, you need the following, it will be easy to suggest.  Anyway you can try with the following which is for service (item category TAD)
    Go to VTFA and maintain the following settings:-
    Header Data
    Copying requirements::::::::001
    Copy item number::::::::::::::X
    Item Level
    Copying requirements:::::::::002
    Data VBRK/VBRP::::::::::::::001
    Billing quantity:::::::::::::::::::A
    Pos/neg.quantity::::::::::::::::+
    Pricing type:::::::::::::::::::::::A
    If it is a third party, then at item category (TAS) level, you need to maintain the following
    Copying requirements::::::::::028
    Data VBRK/VBRP:::::::::::::::000
    Billing quantity::::::::::::::::::::F
    Pos/neg.quantity:::::::::::::::::+
    Pricing type:::::::::::::::::::::::::G

  • Multilevel variant configuration without BOM explosion

    Hi!
    We have the following problem:
    We use BOMs with variant configuration in SD and NO BOM explosion. Means, enter the BOM-head material in the SD line, go to the configuration screen and configure the multilevel BOM. There are classes and attributes on every level in the multilevel BOM structure.
    After finishing the variant configuration, we save the SD order. If we enter the new SD order again with VA03 and go to the configuration of the SD line, the system forgot every attribute value on levels other than the BOM-head. We see the structure of the selected BOM materials, but no previously entered configuration value on other levels.
    Do we make something wrong, or is this a SAP standard "feature" ?
    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi,
    This is a standard feature.The values which you will select for the configurable material,you will not able to see when you got to VA03.
    Reward points if helpful.

    Here the requirement when the quotation is created with refference to Opportunity system should allow to create quotation for product B only (Status should be "completed" ).
    Can any one help me to solve this issue
    Thanks

    Hi sathish,
    Try using the Copy control Badi CRM_COPY_BADI, or use make use of Copying routines in the settings for copying item category.
    Here u can have a check on status, only if it is completed copying should be allowed.
