Dear,
1 )Use TCODE -- VTFA  and maintain between OR ( source doc)TO F2 (Target Doc.) for ORDER RELATED BILLING
If u want Z Document type then copy OR and make ur OWN SALES DOC like ZMFG and also copy F2 and create like ZFGR
and maintain as suggested above.
At Header Level -- COPYING REQUIREMENT (001)
At ITEM Level-- COPYING REQUIREMENT (001)
DATA VBRK/VBRP (003) SINGLE INVOICE OR (001) SPLIT INVOICE
                         Billing quantity (A) / Pos./neg. quantity (+)/ Pricing type (C)
2) Use TCODE -- VTFA  and maintain between OR ( source doc)TO F5(Target Doc.) for ORDER RELATED  PROFARMA BILLING in similar way u can maintain for ur Z Documents
At Header Level -- COPYING REQUIREMENT (007)
At ITEM Level-- COPYING REQUIREMENT (008)
DATA VBRK/VBRP (003) SINGLE INVOICE OR (001) SPLIT INVOICE

I suppose, it is not possible.
I faced similar situation & the work around used by me was I changed the order quantity to the quantity to be billed & after Billing, I went back to Sales order & added the same Item with Balance quantity in next line item & met the requirement.
In Billing document, we can only change the price & cannot change quantity, as it is grey field.

    Hi
You can make the control setting as to whether the invoice receipt quantity or the goods receipt quantity should be relevant for billing in the copy control for billing on the item level in the billing quantity field.
In Customizing, choose Sales and Distribution -> Billing -> Billing documents -> Maintain Copying Control for Billing Documents -> Copying Control: Delivery to Billing Document -> Item, then select an item category.

  • Order-related billing for item category TAN

    Hi All,
How can I make item category TAN order related-billing document?
I already changed the settings for TAN:
Billing Relevance - B (Relevant for order-related billing)
And maintained the copy control between sales document and billing document for item category TAN:
    Copying requirements: 002 (Item/Order Related)
    Data VBRK/VBRP:      001 (Invoice Split - Sample)
But when i create the billing document, it is still showing that the item is not relevant for billing.
Delivery document has already been created for this item. Am I missing something?

  • Order related billing

    27.01.2011
    Hi friends,
I am trying to create order related billing. The material is a service, but i need to have a delivery created in the background.
I have created an order and the delivery is created automatically.
But when i am trying to create an invoice F1 against this sales order the log shows
Order quantity 1 not equal to goods issue 0.
in the item category the billing relevance is 'B" relevant for order related  billing  - status according to order qty.
In the copy control for F1 billing type and orer type OR the billing quantity indicator is 'C' order quantity.
Can someone suggest the reason for the error message.
    Regards,
    Uday

    HI,
Order related billing is applicable to service order processing. So, there is no need of delivery document here.
    For your case:
In a delivery document the u2018Delivery quantityu2019 and u2018Picked Quantityu2019 should be same. In your case, the picked quantity is zero. This is the reason for error message. The picking quantity should be 1.
You can make the item as u2018Not relevant for pickingu2019 at Delivery item category level in customization. Then the Picked quantity field will be greyed. It will not throw error.

  • Copy Control settings : Copy Only Manual conditions

    Hi,
I have following configuration in SPRO for 'copying control of item categories':
    Source item category- ZSPP
    Target item category - ZPQL
    Copying routine - 900004
Copy Conditions - Only Copy Manual conditions
This copy control configuration will be used in 2 scenarios :
    1. When creating service contract quote as follow-up to service contract
    2. When creating service contract as follow-up to some other document type which is custom
My copying routine is required only for first scenario. So, I have put one conditions in my copy routine(CRM_COPY_BADi) and it is working fine. This copying routine is getting triggerd only for first scenario.
    However, my another requirement is,
Copy conditions - should be "Copy Manual conditions" for scenario 1 and
Copy Conditions - should be "Copy All Conditions" for scenario 2.
So, could you please let me know, how can control this, sinca same item categories are used in both the scenarios. I can't create or change the item categories since already they are in use.
The baseliine is : I am able to control the copying routine by keeping a condition in CRM_COPY_BADI. But, at the same time I should control "COPY CONDITIONS" also.
Is there any way to control through config or coding?
    Please help me.
    Thanks,

    1. Define Item Categories: If possible use Standard Item Category. Incase if required to create new, copy as from standard & maintain New.
Check Billing relevance for Item Category being used
    2. Assign Item Categories: If possible, use standard. Formula for deriving item category: Sales Document Type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher Level Item Category = Item Category

  • Del related and order related billing on the same order - timing problem

    Hi,
In our repair process we need to bill out the loaner part (we put the money on the loaner line that gets shipped and create a delivery related billing document)  as well as repaired material when that comes in, goes through the repair and gets shipped back to the customer. In billing the repair itself the money goes onto a special order related line (repQuo  check box on the main repair line in the sales order entry).
The problem is that the billing due list shows the order related line due for billing after it is created. We are not supposed to bill the line until the repair is completed. The invoice actually never gets created, the log is output with the error stating that it cannot invoice before the repair is completed, but it still shows in VF04. If I put the order on bill block and filter out blocked orders in VF04, then I can't bill the delivery related loaner parts.
Any suggestions how to make VF04 not show the order related line until the repair is completed?
    Thank you,
    Sergiy

Check Billing Relevance of your I Cats(VOV7) and maintain them as per your requirement.
As that indicates what the basis for billing should be.
A: Delivery-related billing document - Billing is based on the outbound delivery. Billing status is only updated in the outbound delivery.
B: Relevant for order-related billing - status according to order quantity - Billing is based on the sales document. The requested delivery quantity determines the billing status.
C: Relevant for order-related billing - status according to target quantity - Billing is based on the sales document. The target quantity determines the billing status.
F: Order-related billing doc - status according to invoice quantity - Relevant for order-related billing documents based on the invoice receipt quantity (third-party business transaction). The system transfers the order into the billing due list only after the vendor invoice has been received and processed in the purchasing department. After the receipt of each invoice, a  customer invoice is created for the quantity that appears on the vendor invoice. The order has status "Billed" until the next vendor invoice is received. Item category TAS (Third party item) is set up with billing relevance "F" in the standard system. This process can also be related to the quantity of goods receipt. You can make the control setting as to whether the invoice receipt quantity or the goods receipt quantity should be relevant for billing in the copy control for billing on the item level in the billing quantity field. (In Customizing, choose Sales and Distribution -> Billing -> Billing documents -> Maintain Copying Control for Billing Documents -> Copying Control: Delivery to Billing Document -> Item, then select an item category.)
G: Order-related billing of the delivery quantity  - The order is relevant for billing. More specifically, the cumulative delivery quantity that was already delivered is relevant for billing. You can use this category to bill for multiple partial deliveries at once.
H: Delivery-related billing - no zero quantities - You can use this category to avoid items with a value of zero being included in the billing document.
K: Delivery-related invoices for partial quantity - You can use this indicator if you want to select both items and partial quantities for billing.
Hope this can assist you in understanding.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Order Related Billing - Overall Status B after billing

We have changed billing relevance of our order related billing item category to B (Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty) and the copy control to the billing document to E (Goods receipt quantity less invoiced quantity).
This now allows us to bill these sales orders based on the GR and not wait on the IR.
However, how can we control the overall status of the sales order item billed? When billed partially, the overall status is set to B (Being Processed).
I see no process, except changing order quantity which will set this overall status to C.
I see COMPLETION RULE but after setting this and completing billing, the overall status is still BEING PROCESSED. I assume this is because the copy control from sales document to billing document does not have an 'update document flow' option.
Is the solution a custom routine in the copy control?
    Thanks

    hello, jim.
the system behavior is correct. in a purely order-billing scenario, the status remains as "being processed" because you have not completely billed the item, and there are quantities that are still to be invoiced.
if the open balance is no longer to be billed, in general we "reject" the open items.  this action completes the line item status.  if there are no other line items in the order, the entire document will also be completed.
i think you have a third party transaction.  when you say "partially billed", are you referring to quantities invoiced based on GR, which may be less than the order quantity?  if so, rejecting open quantities in the sales order should complete the order.
    regards.

  • Delivery Related Billing rather than Order Related Billing in Return Sales

    Hi
There is a requirement from the client that the Returns Invoice (RE) generated must be related to LR Delivery Type rather than Return Sales Order Type(RE).
I have maintained the Copy Control from LR (Returns Delivery Type) to RE(Returns Invoice Type).
Then Changed the billing relevance of REN (Item Category ) from - 'B' Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty
    to A     Delivery-related billing document.
When i create the Returns Invoice, it is allowing me to create the Invoice even before the Post Goods Receipt of the LR Returns Delivery Document.
It should allow me to create the invoice only after Post Goods Receipt.
Can any one share their inputs.

  • Difference between delivery related and order related billing

    Hello Friends,
Kindly explain the difference between delivery related and order related billing with an example. Thanks

The billing relevance is controlled by item category of material, which u have assigned to sales document type.
    For example
    1.item category –TAN
Billing relevance is –A- Standard-Delivery-related billing document
So in standard order of material which has to get delivered, we will bill it on its delivery. So billing relevance is delivery related billing.
    2.BVN
In cash sales item category is BVN whose billing relevance is Relevant for order-related billing - status acc.to order qty.
So here we will bill the customer from sales order only, no need to go to delivery.
DON’T FORGT TO REWARD POINTS IF THIS ANSWER SATISFIES YOU.

I have done the setting for Assign Billing doc types to Delivery doc types (CIN-SPRO) BV-BV
    Using TAXINN procedure
    Please suggest me.
    Regards,

    Hi Swamy,
I found the solution for my query.
1.I have copied the BV(cash sale doc type) and created as ZBV in that(VOV8) I have changed, from order related billing to Delivery related billing.
2.Done the copy controles for BV-BV (Delivery to billing at both header and item level-VTFL)
3.Copied the Item cat (BVN) to ZBVN and changed the billing relavance from "B" to "A"
4.In I tem cat assignment VOV4 assigned ZBVN (in place of BVN)= OR+NORM=ZBVN
5.Done the process, and now I am able to see the Excise duties in RG1 print out (J2I6)
    Hope the process is correct.
