Copy Directory's object

Hi experts ,
Is there a way to copy more then One object (for example : receiver determination, interface determination, sender agreement, or receiver agreement) in the same time for the same scenario, or should I do It one by one?

YOu can copy only one object at a time.
But please note that you cannot have two receiver deteminations with the same sender party/service combination.
Similarly, you cannot have two interface deteminations with the same sender party/service/outbound interface combination.

Problem with copy of the object

Hi,
trying to copy (clone) my object:
var a:TestObj = new TestObj()
var a2:TestObj = ObjectUtil.copy( a ) as TestObj;
but i recieve nothing. So the ObjectUtil.copy can return me
only the Object type, but i want a concrete type!!!

It seems your dealing with request scoped object(s). So you should be safe with respect to the multiple threads.

Is it possible to create a "virtual" copy of an object in illustrator?

In other words, lets say that I've got an object (that might be a simple object like a square, or a complicated group, or anything).
I can select the object, copy it and then paste it at some other location, but now it is a separate object.
What I'd like to do is make a "virtual" copy of the object, so that if any modifications are done to one of the copies, they are also done to the other copy. I.e., if I change the color of one sub-object in one of the virtual copies, the color also changes in the corresponding sub-object of the other virtual copy.
Note that this is similar to lightrooms virtual copy feature of images, but in that case, the modifications are separate even though the underlying image stayes the same. What I'm asking about here is for the ability to "link" objects together.
BTW, the basic reason I want this is for the following reason: I want to have an object occur in more than one artboard, but if I modify the object in one artboard, I'd like it to also be modified in the second artboard. It is not feasible to have the artboards overlap over *just* the object that I need (as that would in some sense solve the problem, and in fact does solve the problem in some limited circumstances, but not all of them, namely those where the two arboards need to have other also objects along with the common object that do not overlap).

Just an addition, jb (unless this has changed in the latest version(s)):
If you want the option to position/align them by anything but the centre of the appearance (including effetcs), you may add a nostroke/nofill rectange/circle centred over the centre of the artwork and extending past its appearance in all directions.

tecnically it is possible to use an evaluation key on an BOBJ system independent from the purpose you are using the system for. Still evaluation keys expired and are there in order to check the functionality of the BOBJ software. I would recommend to discuss this with your local SAP representative.

If all what you are interested is Scott schema than no need to use the datapump or CTAS. Run demobld.sql in your schema and it would have all the objects of Scott.

Copy and Paste Object Changes Properties

I'm trying to create a watermark of my stationary. Ultimately, I want all the pages of my resume to have this background. The stationary is built of three separate objects: a logo in the upper left hand corner, my contact information (created as a png in another app) along the bottom left and a large circular object that runs off the right and bottom of the page and sits behind whatever text I have over it.
I have yet to find an online tutorial that tells me how to create this and put it on each page. But I did manage, by trial and error to set up the first page. I then tried to copy the round object from the first page and paste it on the second. It pasted exactly where I wanted it, but it will not go backward. 'Send Backward' and 'Send to the Back' are both greyed out. Do I have to build this from scratch on each page?

You can't expect Mail to support all the objects of Pages which can include anything up to charts generated from spreadsheet tables.
Even if Mail was a superset of Pages, what would the recipients who don't have either Mail or Pages, make of it?

Copy 'Services for Objects' from Quote to Order

Can anyone tell me a way to copy 'Services for Object' from a Quote to an Order when the order is created via reference to the quote. For a simple case, lets say we have an excel sheet attached to the quote via/under Services for Objects. When we create a Sales Order with reference to that Quote I want the attached excel sheet to be visible under The 'Services for Object' of the Sales Order.

Have you craeted a new field BA for lead and activity?
Is it also present in quotation and sales order?
If the coupy contol from lead to opportunity does pass on the field details, they must also get transfered from opportunity to quotation and sales order. Maintain the copy contro settings properly.
If the issue is still not resolved use BADI CRM_COPY_BADI for further enhancements.

Background:
I wrote a large piece of VBA code in an Excel workbook to help handle a lot of repeating jobs. I found it is painful to maintain and modify the code by using the "pool" VBA Editor. Then, I decided to move those VBA code to C# solutions, which I
suppose I can benefit from the modern editor - Visual Studio.
Problem:
Although I don't know too much about VBA, I know even less about C#. Hence I got some problem when I try to "translate" my VBA code to C#, and here is one of them:
I create a document-level solution for Excel. I need to embed some files (.cab, .exe) into the solution, so when I run a method (e.g. by clicking a button), those files will be copied to the file system, and do some job.
In VBA, I embedded those files in the Excel workbook, then I can copy the embedded objects to the clipboard by using the following VBA code:
Sheet1.OLEObjects("obj_cab").COpy
And then I can paste the object to the file system by using the following VBA code:
CreateObject("Shell.Application").Namespace("C:\Sample\").Self.InvokeVerb "Paste"
In the C# solution, I can use the following equivalent method to copy the embedded object to the clipboard:
Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.OLEObject OLEobj = (Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.OLEObject)sheet1.OLEObjects("obj_cab");
OLEobj.Copy();
Then I stuck here, I don't know how to get this object from clipboard and put it to the file system. The 'CreateObject' method does not exist in C#.
Anyone can help? Either a better way to embed those files or a working way to paste those objects (files) from clipboard to the file system?

It's possible to save the oleobject to the disk. But it's not very simple. Because when you call the Copy method of OLEObject to clipboard, it's actually not the exact the oleobject file itself, it's actually a wrapper of the file, it means that it has different
file headers and some other information from the original oleobject file.
To save oleobject on the disk, you need to analyze the byte array by yourself, this would be a little complicated. You could check the answer in this thread for the code sample:

Are you saying that you have a machine (US System) and i has a namespace /ank/ ? What all objects are there in this namespace?

Is the India system on the same US system?
Also tell me whether you have opened the home page of SAP XI/PI? If yes , are you able to open Integration Repository? If yes then how these US and India systems are referred in Integration Repository? Are they referred as separate software components?

Usually when there is a need to change/create an adapter object, I suggest to change object class to CUSTOMIZING in R3AC1. Then save it and call transaction R3AC3. There do necessary changes and afterwards switch back to original object class. There is no copy functionality for adapter objects. Kindly use transaction R3AC3 to create a new adapter object and maintain all tabs according to your requirements. When you are finished, kindly change the object class "CUSTOMIZING" to the original class name you're copying and the new adapter object will be visible in R3AC1.

Copy, paste typing object

Is there any way to copy a "typing" object and paste it
somewhere else? I'm trying to edit a project and one of my slides
contains a typing object of a key being pressed. This object
appears in the timeline but there does not seem to be any way to
copy it and add it to a different slide. Any advice on how to do
that?

Copying an unknown Object

I have an Object that I pull from a Hashtable. I don't know what type of Object it is, nor do I care. But I need to make a copy of it and .clone() is protected on Object.
eg.
Object obj1 = hashtable.get(key);
Object obj2 = obj1.clone(); // WILL NOT COMPILE (even in a try block)
Any ideas?

If these objects were created by your code, then they each need to implement Cloneable and also implement a public clone() method. If you call the clone() method of Object via super.clone(), then it is a shallow copy and you'll need to copy any embedded objects yourself.
Assuming that all the classes in your Hashtable implement a public clone() method, then you'll need to either cast the reference to the appropriate class , or else use reflection to invoke the clone method.
