My Macbook got halt and did no longer work.
Could I use a typical SATA-to-USB to connect the Macbook Harddisk to Mac Mini so that the data can be transferred from the old harddisk to the new Mac Mini?

There are a number of posts related to copying issues between Windows Vista / 7 and AirPort Disks. Two potential solutions being forwarded are: 1) Changing the LAN Manager authentication level, and/or 2) Disabling the Windows Search feature.
To change the LAN Manager authentication level:
From the Windows Vista / 7 desktop, click Start
Search for: security
Click 'Local Security Policy'
Goto Local Policies > Security Options
Under Policy, double-click 'Network security: LAN Manager authentication level'
Change level to: Send LM & NTLM responses
Under Policy, double-click 'Network security: Minimum session security for NTLM SSP based (including RPC) clients'
De-select 'Require 128-bit encryption'
Click OK
To disable Windows Search:
Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features
On the right-hand side, click "Turn Windows features on/off"
Scroll down, and de-select "Windows Search".
Press OK, close all windows and restart.
A third "solution," that has worked for me, is verify that both the AirPort base station and the Win7 PC are using the exact same Workgroup Name. In my case, I use "WORKGROUP" (without the quote marks) for this name. From the AirPort Utility, you would enter this value on the Disks > File Sharing tab. How to copy original content from memory card to a...
I ordered a memory card for my 6233, and tried to copy the contents of the card to my PC, in order to get them onto the new memory card - but I get an "access denied" message when connecting the phone via my USB cable in storage mode. I assume this is because the content is copy protected.
Is there anyway of copying the data from my old miniSD card to my new one, using Windows?

Copy all contents from Nokia N9
Hi,
Is it possible to copy the contents, especially SMS/MMS, from a Nokia N9 to a new WP8 phone such as the Lumina 920? My older Nokia phones were able to do this wih a built in Sync feature (N95 -> E71 -> N9). I can't find any mention of this feature on the new WP8s. There's software available that will copy the Contacts etc which is useful, but can't find anything about SMS/MMS.

Thank you for posting and welcome to the forum.
If you want to sync your files from N9 to your new Nokia Lumia 920 then, consider these simple steps below.
• Contacts, calendar and photos
In the Nokia Suite (version 3.6 onwards) you can transfer contacts, calendar items and photos to the Microsoft SkyDrive cloud service by using Nokia Suite. From the SkyDrive the content is synced to your Lumia phone. To use SkyDrive, you need a Microsoft Account (formerly known as Windows Live ID). If you do not have a Microsoft Account account, you can create one at live.com, or using your phone.
Make sure you have Nokia Suite 3.6.11 or higher installed on your PC.
Use a compatible USB data cable to connect your Nokia N9 to your PC.
Launch Nokia Suite, and start the sync setup, select Sync > Sync now > Set up sync.
Select the content you wish to sync with your phone.
Start the sync.
Once the sync is complete, select Show details to see what was synced.
To upload the content to SkyDrive, select Tools > Upload to SkyDrive and follow the instructions on the screen.
Sign into your Microsoft account with your Lumia phone to get the copied content.
Note: SMS message can not be transferred directly, but you can export all messages in Nokia Suite (Messaging>File/Export all text messages) and open the resulting Comma Separated File (.csv) in Excel or OpenOffice Calc to create an Excel sheet (.xls file) this can then be copied to your SkyDrive and opened from the Office app. You could also use a tool to create separate files from the exported .CSV file and copy all of these to SkyDrive.

Any Help would be great!My requirements are the Word documents are a template of sorts. The document will be changes prior to its email with some changes. The other twist is that the customer might more that one recipients, and each recipient will have to have a separate
email, with the same content of the word document.
For example: Say I'm doing maintenance. The Word doc might descript that maintenance, in a set format. Once save the script is run to generate 3 to 10 email with separate recipients with the body of the email containing what was in the Word document. -

I'm trying rev 5 for OSX. ALV aesthetics is really great but: copy cells content is not possible anymore.
Nothing happens with command+C.
I cannot copy anymore just a part of the cell content.
Trying all possible key combinations, something is copied with Ctrl+C. When I paste it, the pasted content is something like this:

I have downloaded a tv episode from itunes, I would like to watch it on my tv, not the computer.
My tv has a usb port, what I would like to do is copy tv episode to usb flash drive and then play on my tv.
I have tried dragging the episode from the library to the usb drive, I thought I had been successful but when I looked it was just text.
Can anyone advise if it is possible please ?It won't work, they are linked to your account and can only be played via iTunes on a computer, an iOS device or Apple TV. You might be able to get a cable to link your Mac to your TV so that you can play/mirror it through your TV e.g. if it's a Macbook with an HDMI socket and your TV also has an HDMI socket then you could try an HDMI to HDMI cable (Apple do them, and electrical stores should also have them) - I've used one to play iTunes TV programmes on my TV (though I don't think that I got sound through my TV, only my Mac).

When I first got my Ipod I had a pc....which I burned several CD to the Itunes new libraries...then got a laptop and my troubles began,
I would like to copy the contents of my ipod down to my pc and then move that copy over to my itunes folders so they both will be in syc so when I hook
my ipod into the laptop the burned CDs will not be over written and i won.t lose them....I can not believe that I have to use freeware or purchase software to
do this.....freeware always messes up my laptop so can you teach me how to do this....a while back a support person showed me something along the lines

Creating pdf files from word document and allow copying of content
I generate word documents and then save them in PDF format before sending out to clients. Sometimes these documents contain quite a lot of data in table format and I want my clients to be able to copy the data from the tables and be able to paste it into excel. How do I save as PDF and still allow copying of content?
ThanksOpen such a PDF in Adobe Reader: File | Properties | tab Security. It will tell you if copying is allowed or not.
I don't know if you can change these security options from Word; you'll have to ask Microsoft. To change them after the PDF was created, you will need Acrobat. -
I tried copying some content from various websites (open content from plian HTML pages) and tried to paste it in Quickoffice document as well as in mai application. all the text got pasted properly however the content had some graphics and pictures in it that did not get pasted. So, I want to know if there is any way I can do the copy and paste from website including embedded graphics
You will need to copy and paste the images separately from the text. Or you can try pasting into TextEdit. However, it should work if the editor can handle RTFD files as does TextEdit. You cannot copy images to a plain text document or editor.

Copy the content of a sheet in excel and paste it in a new sheet.
How can I copy the content of the first sheet in excel and paste it in a newly created sheet. Both sheets have specific names (not sheet1 and sheet2).

Copying the Contents of Keychain
I am about to do an erase and install of Leo. Does anyone know how to copy the contents of the keychain to save from losing all my passwords?
Keychain has an Export option but I can't get it to work. It is simply greyed out.Many thanks. Selecting the login keychains don't seem to allow you to copy them but the system keychains do.
Anyway, the suggestion to copy the file sounds better. Does this copy all keychains? -

How does this approach sound:
On the iPad, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
That will strip your iPad of all its information.
You can then sync your iPad to your computer using your computer's iTunes.
