I had troubles with my computer and all files was erased but my ipod its full with music, videos etc. How can i do for send all music from my ipod to a new itunes??? without los any data??
Thank you

I don't know what to suggest because you use Windows, but there are programs, such as Senuti, that allow you to transfer files from your iPod back to your computer.
EDIT
Here is one I found that is compatible with PCs:

Depends on why it's ineligible.  If it's under 96 Kpbs, try right-clicking on the file and choosing Create AAC Version.  (If you don't see this option, go to iTunes>Preferences, click "Import Settings..." then choose "Import Using: AAC Encoder" and "Setting: iTunes Plus".)  Then rescan your library to see if this version will add to iTunes Match.  Or, after changing your import setting, just re-import the song to your iTunes library.
If the song is over 200 MB you would have to reduce it's size to make it eligible.

  • How do I make my iPod classic work with iTunes 9.1

How do I make my iPod classic work with iTunes 9.1?

You are correct in some of your assertions, Limnos but, if I were to follow Apple's wishes, I would have to purchase the latest and greatest Apple product every month!  I refuse to do that.  I understand that my G4 is old but, it does what I need it to do.  To answer your question though, I purchased the iPod classic as a refurbished unit, about 5 years ago and had it replaced three times, since then so, there is no way for me to know how old it is.
From my knowledge of how the Classics work(which is extensive.)  It is basically a hard disk.  There should be of performing a low level format, plug it back in and the G4 should recognize the ROm and automatically search for the correct software associated with that version of iPod and load it but, Apple will most likely no longer carry the software on their servers anymore!(surprise, surprise.)

Are you sure the error message/prompt isn't referring to the amount of disk space available on your PC's internal hard drive?  If you head to Start -> My Computer.  How much space is free on your C: drive?
Maybe it would help if you could post a small screen shot of the error.

Your source video file is probably muxed.
Neither QT Pro or iTunes has the ability to successfully encode a muxed video file with audio. You'll end up with video and no audio.
See: iPod plays video but not audio of some exported files.
You'll need to use some other third-party software to do the conversion. There's a handful of software available. Just search the forums and you'll find many titles mentioned.
    Try MPEG Streamclip.

  • I want to down load songs from my ipod classic to my itunes.  the songs are from someone elses computer

i bought an ipod classic.  somebody downloaded their music to it.  I want to save that music to my itunes.  how do i do this.  I know I can;t keep anything they bought but I would like the rest of the music. can anyone help me

    The rest of what music?
Since you know you are not entitled to keep music purchased by someone else, and since the music on the iPod was placed on it by someone else (who presumably bought it), what exactly do you think you can keep?
If "the music you wish to keep" is actually free of copyright (in other words, it can be freely copied and distributed to anyone), then presumably you can obtain that music from the same source that it came from originally. Since you would need to confirm for yourself that it is free of copyright, your best bet would be to locate that music from a legally available source rather than someone else's iPod.
If the music was given away free to the person who originally owned the iPod, you would still need to ensure that it's "free of copyright" and that it would be legal for you to keep it. The fact that one person legally obtained it for free does not automatically mean that anyone else can have a copy of it. Once again, you would need to confirm the facts.
As far as I know, Apple still do not allow anyone here to discuss methods of copying someone else's purchased music onto your iTunes, so even if anyone here knew how to do it, they cannot tell you.

  • I can't sync my ipod classic (160gb) to iTunes 10,in Windows 7.

I reset my ipod classic (160 gb),I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the iTunes, reseting with the latest version of iTunes, but it still does not sync all of my songs. It says : Can't copy to apple's disk,Error -69

Please do the iPod disk Diagnostic as posted earlier by tt2, it wont fix your problem but helps in troubleshooting.

  • IPod classic issues with iTunes 9 just may be disk problems in ipod

I have done extensive testing for several days now on this iTunes 9 issue with iPod Classics. I used 3 different computers, 1 Macbook Pro, Windows 7 and XP with iTunes 8. I had 2 - ipod classic 80GB and 2 - ipod 5th Generation 30GB units people gave me to look at.
It would take too much typing to describe all the restores, syncs, formats, copies I did over the past few days.
Bottom line: Using PC utilities I began to believe the iPod hard drives had bad sectors. I trusted the disk testing because I got different results from different ipods. The problems I experienced and what I have read here are consistent with what you would expect from disk problems and S.M.A.R.T. technology on the drives.
If bad sectors on a drive are dealt with by S.M.A.R.T. I would expect delays in accessing those sectors to occur.. resulting in delays to restore, delays to sync, delays to even skip songs on the ipod itself.
What may be the case is switching to iTunes 9, discovers when it trys to use the bad sectors. Maybe iTunes 9 is more timing temperamental. I have iPods that pass all disk tests that work fine with iTunes 9 on mac and PC. The other 2 ipods reporting bad sectors on a disk test, can restore, but syncing 3000+ songs is nearly impossible. Sync delays were consistent with where I would expect bad sectors to exist in the process. Delays I noticed just copying a folder to the ipod in disk mode were consistent with the delays that occur syncing in iTunes.

    It is a possibility...
I will state though that in my opinion the main problem is that itunes 9 is far less fault tolerant than prior versions and is far more likely to preemptively send an ipod into recovery mode when running into a problem when a ipod is plugged in.
I'd had a couple of incidents in prior versions of itunes when it flashed an alert message that it was having trouble accessing the ipod. Usually unplugging and reconnecting the ipod resolved the issue. Unfortunately this system of handling the issue does not work at all with itunes 9. What happens is that the next time you plug in the ipod it is preemptively sent into recovery mode.
I've had my ipod sent into recovery mode 7-8 times since I Installed Itunes 9. The last 5 of those in the last week. I've already done the reinstall itunes 9 from scratch and I still had to do a recovery of the ipod last night. Today I bought a new interface cable on the theory that my old cable might be defective. I've been able to plug it in tonight without itunes complaining about being unable to access the ipod

  • How do i copy Ipod classic songs to new computer when it says "Ipod synced with another library" and cannot find that library

Have a new PC and have a classic Ipod with about 6000 songs and had my itunes on an external HD a Maxtor One Touch II. Make a long story short the songs are not in the external HD no more songs. also looking in the C drive of the computer \My Music\itunes does not have the songs. Have checked hidden files so that I can see all the files. To make matters worse the I-tunes program on the external Maxtor was corrupted and the only way to fix it was to download a new itunes. So I wanted to repopulate the library but it appears I am not able to. Can anyone explain to me how I can copy my songs from the Ipod classic back to the library in the external HD?

I have about 6000 songs on my itunes library and i've filtered it down to 4500 on my ipod (so far) that I like and really listen to. I don't really want to go through all of that again...

  • Ipod classic syncs with itunes, but when I disconnect, no music shows on ipod

I have an iPod classic 160GB and am able to sync the ipod to my macbook with iTunes 11, and it shows that I have 35gb of music on the iPod in iTunes. But when I disconnect the ipod, it says there is no music on the ipod. I think the problem started when I tried to connect the ipod to someone else's computer, but then there was a power outage so the computer died while the ipod was connected. Next thing I know, there is now music on the ipod. I've tried erasing everything and going back to factory settings, then re-syncing with my computer. Once the sync is complete, on the computer it shows the music is loaded, just when it's disconnected, there's nothing there.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    johnfitzk964

Is this a playlist you created or one that was created by iTunes?  Is it configured to sync to your iPod from under the iPod's Music configuration tab in iTunes?
