COPY OF BATCH RESULTS

Dear All,
I have an issue of quality related inventory movement from one plant to other plant.
From plant X i will move unrestricted stock to Plant Y.
Then stock goes into quality inspection in plant Y.Then again UD is given and the stock will post into unrestricted stock.
But can we copy the batch results from Plant X to plant Y without recording the results again.
Thanks and regards
G.V.RAGHU RAM

GVR,
Try to use a UD - Followup action with a custom function module, performing what is required for you.

  • Copy of Inspection Result

    Hi QM Gurus,
I have a very specific requirement.
If I do a goods receipt, an inspection lot (inspection origin 05) is created. (example: 05000000731 - GSM0123 - AA123456)
The results of this inspection lot can be read via an interface and the usage decision is made automatically.
    I have created a delivery and a inspection lot is created. (inspection origin 06 - example Inspection Lot 10000019768 - GSM0123 - AA123456)
    Now I want to copy the Results with validations from Inspection Lot 05000000731 - GSM0123 - AA123456 to Inspection Lot 10000019768 - GSM0123 - AA123456 automatically.
I do not want to select the inspection lot for copying. The system will find the inspection lot myself about Material GSM0123 and Batch AA123456.
In SPRO -> Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results --> What setting do I need to make in the "Selection"?
"Recurring Inspection for Batch" - I think that is not correct
"Data from Inspection for Preliminary Product" - But the material GSM0123 is always the same material.
"Custom Selection of Inspection Lot" - I have to select the source inspection lot here. I do not want.
I have no idea to solve this requirement!
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks,
    Ulrike

    Hi Do-Wook Kim,
    I have copied the BAdI "QEC_SELECTION_300" to "ZQEC_SELECTION_300" (SE19).
In SPRO I've created a new selection on the "Business Add-In for Selection of Results Data for Copy of In".
In the dialog you can write an SelectionNumber with 3 Numbers:
I could not specify a name when creating the selection, I found strange, but okay.
After these steps I adapt the method "SELECTION".
Now it works. Thank you so much!

  • Varinat configuration copy of batch characteristics from Sale order to production batch

    hi experts ,
    below is the scenario :
the characteristics and its value which are maintained in the sale order must be copied to batch produced during process order GR .
it was not available in 4.7 but availbale in ECC 6.0 i guess by SAP.
i have created configured material with class type 300 and KMAT . have mainatined CU41 . created material variant and have filled  MRP 3 fields.
have created material variant with class type 023 . (also tried with class type 300) .
created sale order for confgured material and item category is also correct . i do not get pop up for material variant which has same charcateristics as that of material configured.
also on after MRP run and process order creation w.r.t Sale order i did GR . but the batch was created with 023 class type and no characteristics were copied .
kindly guide  , i have not worked much on variant configuration.
    regards,
    satish

    Satish Yadav,
the problem start as you havent got pop up saying there exist a material variant with values you selected for configurable material in sales order, so please check settings related to item catagory.
Also as sales order is created for configurable material , for which material you run MRP?
check below link for more information on material variant and its replacement in sales order.

checka nd reply back, Hope it will solve your issue.

  • Copying of Batch Number and Characteristics not copying in GI

    Dear SAP Gurus,
I have created a Stock transport order (STO). Against that STO I have created the delivery. In the delivery I enter the Batch Number/Characteristics(MM). When I do the Goods Issue against that delivery the Batch number is not being copied. Against that Goods |ssue, when I do the Goods Receipt I have to enter the batch number/characteristics manually.
We have a two step Storage Location to Storage Location transfer.  When we do the Goods Issue the stock goes to Goods in Transit and then the GR is done against that GI.
Please let me know how to copy the batch number/characteristics automatically. Please also mention the name of the user exit if this can be handled through a user exit.

    Hi Shehryar
When you post the receipt (via MIGO or MB01) if you change the way you receive (e.g with reference to the outbound delivery) then all of the batch details and characteristics will be copied into the receipt
The batch is only copied when you receive with reference to the outbound delivery from the STO
    Good luck

  • How can I insert the reusult of a failed test of a secuence in the status batch result status message box ?

Hello, I'm totally new to programming. I started with LabView and test stand to make some test as VI's. When test stand secuence ends, the batch result box (batchmodel.seq) pops out for the several uut's tested in every socket. I'd like to add to the status message the information fo the test wich failed instead of searching this info in the xml (or html) report.
    Joel Urbaez
    Test Engineer ,
    Napco Alarm Lock Intl. Group.

    Hi Joel:
Every report in TestStand comes with message on top of the report (below the header) that tells you which step in the sequence caused the failure. Hence, you do not need to read through the entire report to get this information. If you still want to use the banner to report this information you can do the following:
    1. After the sequence has executed you will have to add a step in the Post-UUT sequence.
    2. Here you can either choose to show a message popup where you can display the step that failed
    3. You would have to use the following variables:
    If ( RunState.Sequence.Locals.ResultList[0].Status = "Failed") ? RunState.Sequence.Locals.ResultList[0].TS.StepName
    4. You can also try to modify the modelsupport2.dll file for the functions that bring up the popup banner to add more information.
    Thank you

  • Copy the inspection  result  from one lot to multiples lots!!

    Hi SAP expert,
I want to copy the inspection  result  from one lot to multiples lots, currently i know how to setup  the copy to another lot(SAML Response from SAP ID Service ) , but  i dont know to do to multiples lot.
    ¿Someone can help me?
    Thank you

First you have to customizing the functionality of Copy of Inspection Results using the following path, where you have to entry the inspection types, plant .etc., where you want to have the functionality.
SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Inspection -> Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results
Then when you are in Record Result screen you select Menu -> Edit -> Copy Inspection Results ,
then a pop-up window is displayed and you filled in with the inspection lot which has the results and then another pop-up window is displayed to select the characteristics that you want to copy.

  • UUT serial number is not displayed in batch results popup window?

UUt serial number is not displayed in batch results popup window. I am using TestStand 2012 SP1 f1 (5.0.1.66). I am also using Prebatch callback and setting up
Parameters.ModelData.TestSockets[index].UUT.SerialNumber with the UUT serial number. I have used the exact sequence file with TestStand 4.2 (4.2.0.134) with no problems.

Sorry for my late reply I was away for work. I actually revisited the code that I implemented with TestStand 4.2 (4.2.0.134) and it is showing the exact problem. Sorry for misleading you. however the UUT report is showing the correct serial number for each unit. This would be something that is nice to have but not critical for my project. I am basically auto discovering all my UUT so instead of scanning the serial number I read it from the UUT memory so there are a lot of steps in my PreBatch call-back but they are all related to reading the UUT serial number. Once I read all the UUTs serial numbers I set the following in a for loop:
    Parameters.ModelData.TestSockets[Locals.For_Loop_Index].UUT.SerialNumber =StationGlobals.UUT_Serial_Numbers[Locals.For_Loop_Index]
I tried to implement my a simple PreBatch with only a for loop and an array of serial number and I ended up with the same issue. So I am suspecting that the batch report is getting the serial numbers from a different variable and that variable is set when you run the batch option without the PreBatch call-back.

  • Copy BW query results with formatting

When copying a query's results to another workbook, the formatting (namely coloring) changes.  Is there any way to copy the query results to a new workbook and keep the exact same formatting as in original query?

One way to do this would be to copy the worksheet with the results to the other workbook, as follows:
Edit --> Move or copy sheet... --> change "To book:" to the 2nd workbook --> check "Create a copy" option --> OK
After doing that, you can cut & paste from the copied worksheet to other worksheets in the workbook, if necessary, and the formatting will be maintained.
    Hope this helps...

  • Copying a cell /results/ into another cell

i have a set of totals in different sections and i want to COPY this number result so that it actively updates in the destination cell. the originating cell is a SUM of about ten items above it and when i simply copy and paste this origination cell into the destination cell the destination cell wants to SUM up the ten cells above /it/.
i am using "numeric" for all my cells and i am wondering if i need to change the destination cells to some other format so that it will simply accept the final number but i also want to make sure this destination cell will UPDATE when the origination cell changes.
any advice please and/or search terms for this operation?
i've gotten backed up by weeks getting OCD (and a little carpal tunnel) with my formatting so i am trying to close out the learning curve on this effort ASAP before going back in and studying documentation on numbers 3.0.
THANK YOU for any help with this.

    HW,
you are thinking of how data flows backwards.  you are thinking that copy takes the result from a cell, when, in fact, it takes the formula OR the value (if it is not a formula).  To "get" the value out of a cell you refer to that cell from another cell-- thereby "pulling" the result out of the cell.
The search terms woudl be "cell", "reference"
In the destination cell (the cell where you want a /COPY/ type the equal sign, then click the cell where the sum resides (even if its in another table, or another sheet).
If you you do not want to try the click method, then you can type the reference as follows:
assume the cell where the sum resides is
    Sheet 1
    Table 1
    cell A20
Then in the cell where you want the /COPY/ type:
    "=Sheet 1 :: Table 1 :: A20" without the double quotes
    All the best.

  • Batch results copy

    Hi all
So if we have recorded insp results for the Bulk material, then we need the results of this batch to be copied on the 20kg, 100kg pack size materials as well, since itu2019s the same batch.
please check and revert with your comments. Also let me know if you have any other solution on this.

    It is possible two ways.
    1)  through QM and inspection results copy.  Are you using QM?
    2) Batch derivation:  See these links for some more info:

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a: Scan & Copy in color results in full cyan page

Product Name: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a
    OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit
I noticed the problem: After I scanned a medical card that was 80% cyan.
Problem: The problem persists when scanning/copying using the ADF or using the scanner glass bed.
Only occurs during color scanning or copying.  I can print a file from my laptop or home pc with no issues, as long as the color file did NOT come from my printer.
If I had scanned the small O'Riley's note in black & white there would have been no streaking.
I have reset, used the HPP Dr., cleaned the glass, etc, & followed Solutions 1 - 3 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=c02881567&lc=en&product=4323659&tmp...
    I sincerely appreciate your assistance.
    Rene'

    Hi @Veritasabt,
I see that you are having issues scanning and copying in color from the glass and the ADF. Thank you for providing the screen shot. I can help you out today.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Update the printer's firmware. HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a Firmware.
Try scanning again to see if you have the same results.
Please check your private messages for additional steps to try.

  • Copy of Batch characteristics value from material master to Batch

    Hi Gurus,
I have maintained some values in the characteristics under batch classification in material master and want to copy the values in batch characteristics during batch creation at process order release.
Can any one help me to achieve this in standard way?
    Thanks
    Sandip

    Hi,
Try to understand the batch classification functionality...In batch classification characteristic values changes from batch to batch...Values should not be maintained in the material master...it does not have any meaning...in the material master we need to assign only the batch class with class type 023 in classification view ...no need to assign the values there....Batch classification means characteristics values differs from batch to batch...
    Thanks

  • PDF problem: copy and paste results in squares

    hello all,
I have problem with my PDF's. I'm afraid the problem maybe is not related to the distiller, but I hope someone here can guide me in the right direction. I don't know exactly what the right starting point is for this case.
The problem is that whenever I copy text from a document (reader 7.0 or Adobe Acrobat 9 pro on windows XP) that is created with the distiller server and I paste the clipboard in a word document, the result is a string of squares, one per character. It seems the font size is preserved, as the squares appear in different size.
Can any of you guide me with this? The problem seems to be the postscript that I use as a starting point. When I distill it (distiller version seems to be not important, I use distiller server 4.05 for windows) the problem arises.
What can be the cause of that? Can I change the distiller options to fix this or do I have to change the postscript? Do I have to upgrade the distiller? Has it something to do with the fonts?
I have an example of a postscript that gives this problem here: http://pastebin.com/EbVGBhAL
thanks in advance for helping me, Ruud

    OK, Bernd, now I see.
So the encoding vector maps the character codes to character names; the charstrings map maps the character names to the characters.
And the character _names_  are used during the copy to clipboard. That is you meant by 'the encoding is incorrect'. The character names in my postscript are like 'c01', 'c02' and so on; the copy to clipboard can't use them. Interesting.
Bernd, can you tell me how you know that character \016 maps to a 6 in the font table? On the moment, that is my 'missing link'. If I only know how you did it, I could make the mapping myself. I would be very happy....
    thanks a lot, Ruud
