Copy of G/L Accounts

Hi guru's...
It is not possible to create each and evey G/L account which are already existing in present system. Then what is the procedure to copy or convert all the G/L accounts from any NON-SAP software to SAP... ?
Please explain how the closing balances of NON SAP accounts are updated in SAP as opening balances...?

Hi,
To upload GL master data u can go by either ECATT or LSMW or BDC.
Format of upload can be decided like what all fileds are required while upload.
And also refer the SAP help for further details on ECATT and LSMW

Copy Data for Multiple Accounts from LegalApp to FinanceApp

Hi Experts,
I have two application, LegalApp and FinanceApp, wherein both have P&L Accounts but with different set of accounts. I have to copy the data of LegalApp P&L Accounts to my FinanceApp P&L Accounts. Some accounts in the FinanceApp have the same ID to that of the LegalApp so I don't have difficulty copying the data. I've used the Script Logic below:

What I'm having trouble is copying data from LegalApp Accounts to FinanceApp Accounts whos ID's are not the same.
Example: from PN0000000000 to COPA00000000. I've tried inserting the following logic but still nothing happened.

How to move/copy the pst POP account to IMAP account directly.

We are using POP account for our email communication.Due to issues in POP account,we are planning to use IMAP for downloading the emails and also for synchronization with mobile devices.
Please let me know how to copy the pst file of POP account to IMAP account.
Is there any possibility available of copying /Moving PST pop account to IMAP account directly.

Hi Pradeep.R,
We cannot move an existing POP3 account directly to an IMAP account. To do this, you should first remove your current POP3 account, then add your IMAP account into Outlook client. After this, transfer your current mails, which you downloaded
via POP3 to your IMAP account.
You should contact your email service provider for the correct IMAP account settings.
To transfer your data, simply select the messages or folders in the existing .pst file, then drag and drop them into your current IMAP account.

okasy if you want to move the music from the other comptuer into your comptuer you can > but if they were purchased with a different APPLE id then you need to authorize the comptuer to play them .

Copying contents of one account to another account

Following advice about security, I just set up a new account for my family without administrator rights. But now I want to copy into that account all of the files and photos that the family had been using in the administrators account. How do I copy the contents of one account to a new account? I can't figure it out. Can you help?

Hey, I have exactly the same problem.
My msn messenger doesnt work completely right in my current using account.
So I made a new account, and on that one my msn works!
So I want to start using that account, but all my files and photos and everything are on my 'old' account.
I did what you said; So I've made my new account admin. and my old account non-admin.
But it doesnt work, my files aren't in my new account.
but my parents do also have an account on this computer, also an admin account.
I hope you understand me, and are able to help me!

Digital Copy Problem with iTunes Account.

I just purchased a movie with a digital copy disc and unknowingly downloaded the copy of the movie using another persons iTunes acount. when i figured this out i tried to redownload the movie and it won't redeem the code. is there anyway i can get another code or copy of this movie so that i can use it under my own account?

Tax Code not copied from Billing to Accounting

Hi,
I have a case wherein the tax code is not being copied over from an intercompany Invoice to Accounting line items.
The conditon record at Billing Header (MWST) has a tax code of B4. The Tax code at the Accouting Line Items is coming out as Blank. The VAT number however is correctly defined.
What we did notice is that this would occur when the MWST is determined as 0%. For non-zero data, the tax code gets copied over.
Does anyone have any idea why its happening this way.

Please note that the SD-FI interface changed
from earlier releases. The note 400766 eplxains the checks made.
So it is possible that now you get error message FF805, when in an
earlier release you didn't get it, eventhough no customizing change.
However please note =>
In the vast majority of cases, error FF805 occurs because of an error
in your pricing procedure. The previously attached note 112609 explains
in detail how tax codes are transfered to conditions.
The note 400766 explains the checks performed by the system on the Tax
codes:
1. system checks whether there is a revenue line for each tax line.
2. in the reverse case, for each revenue line containing a certain
tax indicator there must be a tax line with this indicator.
If the tax condition has condition value zero and condition base
value zero, then it is not transferred to FI.
If you have revenue lines containing a tax indicator XX, but no
tax line with tax indicator XX, then the error FF805 issues, and
it is justified. => Please check these informations.

Copy function for multiple account assingment (cost distribution)

We are using multiple account assignment to enter different asset no for each quantity in same line item. Other fields like G/L account remains same.. Is it possinble to copy the value from one asset to all the assets in same line item. The function of copy in clip and inset from clipboard works only for different items not for multiple account assignments...
In R/3 there is function to copy and paste in case of multiple account assignment but could not find the same in SRM.
Any solution????

During PO replication from SRM to R/3, customizing from OME9 is not read and "Partial invoice indicator" is always defaulted to "1" when item has a multiple account assignment.
This behaviour can be overwritten by implementing:
- either BBP_PO_INBOUND_BADI for method BBP_MAP_BEFORE_BAPI,
- or BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI for method BBP_B46B_PO_OUTBOUND.
So, no need to take care of OME9 customizing.

Solution for copying individual chart of account segements betw. clients

Hi all,
I'm facing the problem, that we we have three clients setup on one system. Within the leading new group chart accounts have been added which also need to be added in the other two clients.
Is there anything like ABAP programs RFBISA10 and -20 which can support me in doing so. To prevent unclarity:
The respective accounts only exist in chart of accounts segment and i don't want to copy the whole chart of accounts via IMG.

This was an overly-long post with a lot of irrelevant details and lacking some of the important ones. So I am inferring the following:
• You are connecting to your mail server via POP
• You are leaving Mail running on the machine at the office
• You have the machine at the office set to delete mail from the server
• At the shop, Mail is set to leave mail on the server
If any of this is incorrect, please correct me.
Now, there are several easy solutions. The easiest, if your mail server supports it, is to switch from a POP connection to IMAP. POP was designed around downloading mail from the server one time and deleting it from the server, leaving you with only a local copy. IMAP is designed to leave mail on the server and synchronize local mailboxes with the server. So with IMAP, you could have exactly the same mail in the mailboxes on both machines. Of course, that means the mail takes up space on the server, which could eventually fill your allocated space and prevent you from receiving further e-mail, which means you've got to be aware of the limits imposed by your server and manage your e-mail accordingly.
If your server doesn't do IMAP, then you can still use POP... you just need to leave it set as is and make sure that you quit Mail on the office machine. You'll be able to download new mails from the shop, and since the shop machine is leaving mail on the server, you'll still be able to download them on the office machine later so you have all your e-mails in one location.

I want to copy filters from one account to another, in particular to the main account.

I have some filters I imported from Eudora to Thunderbird. I want these filters to work on all accounts. I know that I can copy msgFilterRules.dat from one account to another, but there seems to be no entry in my profile folder for one account. It is my main account and was created when I imported from Eudora. There is a file named global-messages-db.sqlite which seems to contain many messages for the "missing" account, but there is no entry in the profile folder>Mail folder for that main account.

Is the main account an IMAP mail account? Then it will be under the 'IMAPMail' folder. Local folders and Pop mail accounts are under 'Mail' folder.
You can check where the main account is pointing to so to locate it.
Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings for the main account.
look bottom right under 'Local directory'.

Sales order number not copied to documents in accounting

Dear all,
I have created normal sales order ,delivery and billing and creation of excise billing invoice which i do for the sales which happens directly from factory.
now go to VF02, and click on 'accounting overview ' click on accounting document .Here sales order number (COBL-KDAUF) is not copied. where as accounting document generated for excise invoice sales order number is appearing .
The same is the case with STO through SD route ....
kindly suggest .

As you would be aware, four Accounting Documents would be generated for one billing document viz
- Accounting Document for Customer Debit
- Profit Center
- Controlling Document
- Profitability Analysis
Of the above four documents, in which you have seen. You can see the order reference in Profitability Analysis.

Copy (clone) a user account

Hi,
I have a user account and want to clone it. I mean that everything must be the same. I only found this solution:
"+you have to enable the root account. once you do that you can log in as root and copy everything from one user account to another. Once that is done change the permissions on the files/folders you just copied (open terminal and type chown -R <new_name> /Users/<new_name>+"
Is this work and safe? Are there any better solution for this?

I want to see if you can help me. I have been searching high and low for an answer. I have a uswer account and apple compressor wont run properly. After there installs there are files missing per a white paper. Anyway, apple support told me to create another account and log into it and see if compressor is running. It works fine. Apple also told me to migrate everything over to the new account I created, but said they couldnt' tell me how since I was getting support for compressor/FCP studio. I have 10.4.11 and want to transfer all my preference and everything under my current user account to the new account I called admin for short. Can the terminal commands you gave this guy do that for me? If I can transfer everything, I would like to dump the old account, so I just have one. Let me know if you have any tricks.

Copy control: GR to accounting doc

Hi friends,
When we post a invoice, the vendor number is copied to the accounting document generated.
But when a GR document is posted, the vendor number is not copied to the accounting document. The 'vendor' field in accounting document is coming as blank.
Can somebody tell me if there is any config to copy the vendor number to the accounting document for GR ?

At the time GR , normally the following postings happen.
1.Material procurement is for stock:
   Inventory account will be debited
   GR/IR account will be credited.
2.Material procument against consumption
   Consumption account will be debited (ex Cost center)
   GR/IR account will be credited
When you do MIRO (invoice verification)
    GR/IR account will be debited ( This amount in this account will be nullfied)
    Vendor account will be credited.
At the time of GR, Vendor account will not get affected.I think your doubt clarified.

How can I copy settings from one account to another on same iMac?

A week ago, my Nik plugin to Aperture and Photoshop crashed the these two apps. I created a new account, and now the plugin works without crashing int he new account. i want to transfer all my settings to the new account. How can I do it?

Create a new folder on the desktop, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide ~/Library/ as the path, move some of the items inside to that folder, keeping track of what you moved, try the plugin again, and repeat as needed.
Moving the wrong item to a different user account will transfer the problem.
